The expectation of an update every week is a little unfounded, and there is no reason for Jagex to even do so. They are highly unique in that regard and one might attribute some of the issues we've had with updates due to them being forced to cram it out all the time instead of proper testing. The expectation of an update 'every week' is totally unfounded...other than the precedent of nearly every month for the past 5+ years having 1 off week and the rest updates and the fact that jmods in various QAs and such have mentioned their official scheduling target to be 1 off week a month. More in relation to the video game industry as a whole then Jagex as a particular. Once a week updates are nice, but if they spent less time trying to develop small things so they can fill those gaps maybe they could produce higher quality content? Honestly, I remember reading a question where someone asked a J-Mod if they would consider doing just monthly updates instead of weekly updates, and I think they replied with a "We don't know if the community would really like that." response. Yes Jagex is unique in the sense that they release an update every week/every other week, but I'd prefer it if they could test the content that they release a bit more. It would be interesting if they released a poll on the website asking our opinion on the idea. Anyways, I'm still trying to finish Divination up but other then that I'm stoked for some more updates!

This month's updates do look very nice. Shame I have to keep working on Divination though, I just want my Completionist Cape back :( lol. Starting to get bored of Divination though.... :s

Currently level 53, I'm going to take it easy. Since I got back home after my 3 month trip 2 days ago, usually I'd no life and play past 11 PM, but now I'm just starting to feel like it's a chore. :(

In my opinion, the player base is surely declining. What can they do to get some new players into the game (because to me it seems like there aren't any new players joining :s/a lot of people have multiple accounts or have had multiple accounts and they know what they're doing)? They should buy some advertisement banners on top gaming sites, for instance IGN. I hated EoC but I adapted and honestly it's alright but I can understand why a lot of people, including my real life friends, don't like it.

Well first off, I dislike the fact that their is "ageism" for video games. In my opinion you are never too old to play any video games, yet alone Runescape. If you're an adult, and by adult I mean you have your life tigether, etc. then personally that would be the perfect time to kick back and play Runescape. If you're a kid, you have a lot of spare time and that's also a great opportunity to play Runescape. tl;dr It doesn't matter what age you are as long as everyone can coexist and realize that they'll grow up one day and perhaps still be playing Runescape at an older age.

What polar said. Also, you should take a look at "Alkan" even though he's super mainstream. He records Runescape and talks about IRL stuff and RS stuff in the same video which is obviously a hit with the viewers. Some ideas: - Bank Video - Progress videos (Road to 'x') - PvMing in general/boss guides - Skill Guides - Quest guides - Reviews of updates (usually are made within the same day as an update) - IRL talk whilst playing Runescape Good luck
