You wish. I don't need to wish since I know they do. Only a very small percentage of botters are caught and only an even smaller percentage receive a ban. And that's not enough to me to agree with botters being permanently banned.

Just make the forum bans for excessive spamming longer. 3 days are clearly not enough.

So if you live near a sweatshop with goldfarmers you automatically get banned? And if you live in a small apartment and your neighbour(s) bot your IP gets blocked? I know the last one was a bit exaggerated, but you get the point.

The entire team/party died the first time because our prayer was pretty much drained and we barely had any food left because of two monoliths earlier in the dungeon. Second time we got a mercenary room pwn'd them without any casualties :') Fractite armour is up to you (I never wear armour in dungeons unless I get it as a drop from a forgotten warrior) just keep in mind that if you're wearing full fractite, you're pretty much forced to pray against magic because the T8/T11 mages easily could kill you. Praying magic makes you vulnerable to the forgotten rangers (T11 arrows can easily pierce through some silly T5 gear) not to mention the warriors that can bust 300s on you (worst case scenario) If you aren't wearing any armour, I presume you have a lot of food with you. If you are, run straight to the mercenary leader with protect from magic on (as he always uses magic) when the first soldiers/mercenaries spawn and start attacking you, pray against the style that's being used the most. Just keep eating and switching protection prayers until the leader's dead. Then teleport out of the room and wait for the rest of the band to leave. You might also want to turn Auto Retaliate off and tele out if you can't keep up with eating/switching prayers.

So far I've had it twice, both times being on 4:4 larges. Both time the mercenaries 'only' had T8 equipment, so I can't talk with the experience of someone who's been piled by multiple T11 foes :D Unless you have a laggy internet connection, you should be able to complete the room if using the right protection prayers, having enough food and gs'ing out when necessary.

If you're just looking for training, try the copper that's right beside the iron ore in dwarven mines (that is, if you have the dunge level for the deposit box). The exp isn't that much different from iron given the time you'd spend looking for open worlds and it's nice profit. As long as you can't 1-hit iron every time, you're going to end up getting crashed at iron anyway, might as well stick to an ore that no one competes for, im sure jagex took the depost box out in a hidden update. It's still there. ;)

When did they change that? Your in-game status and your forum status used to be separate. It's been that way for as long as I can remember, so since around '06 or so. i remember jagex saying something about forum mutes efecting your rs use and rs mutes efects you forum use. but i dont have the slightest clue when i remember that from. If you're muted in-game, you can't post/access the forums. If you're muted on the forums, you can still talk freely in-game. Makes sense imo EDIT: Just found this on the RSOF. Matter of luck I guess... You can always get a single drop worth 300K+ a/o be on a 'dry streak' and only get drops worth 50K or less. EP does nothing IMO

ya, correct, but at least now f2p magic have KO, melee/magic or ranged/magic sound good when ppl pray against melee, sudden attack from magic is nice. Yeah, and then they'll eat to half or run, wasting your time and runes. EDIT: Oh, and don't start talking about the Bind spell. It's utter crap. >:c
