  1. That's a really cool tracker, I don't suppose it auto updates? Good luck with the bonus xp weekend, and some very nice xp gains, I'll look forward to following this blog :P
  2. Apparently they wont work on new bosses, take em to nex if you can I say.
  3. It'd be nice if there was a loaf world.
  4. Nope, he said he was going for 200m in all skills, that's the idea most people donated under.
  5. A donation can also be an investment, usually an emotional one. I donated to a charity and because I care about what the charity's going to do with it I also invested myself in the charity emotionally.
  6. Yeah I'm also kind of glad it'll be interesting again. It'd kind of feel like a bit of a slap in the face if he came back now.
  7. Your post gave me cancer. I'll assume that means you reluctantly agree with me :D I can't comprehend how you can say that. You've changed your argument so many times, and we've essentially agreed that it's rational to be upset about this and that you're wrong. First you said that it's irrational to be upset, then when I logically explain how you're wrong you changed your story and said it's rational to be upset but you don't have the right to complain. Then you said you have the right to complain but not get any sympathy. Of course they're entitled to sympathy, something bad happened to them. How on earth can you think you're right about any of this? You change what you said over and over again and never managed to defend any of your original points. I'm sorry but it it's irrational to be upset about something like this what is it rational to be upset about? Seriously this would be my text book definition of something to be upset about, you invested yourself emotionally in something you assumed to be a safe, rewarding investment, and it let you down. On a side note, I didn't donate to SUOMI and I don't really care if he quits, he has every right to, but it's definitely a rational response to be disappointed if you're one of the people who donated to hm. Is it a natural response to feel upset? Yes. Do you have the right to act complain about being upset? No. Seriously am I the only one who sees the contradictions here? Err, what's the point, then? To vent and rant because you have the right to do so. To express an opinion in the hope that it'll change something, who knows it might.
  8. You can complain about anything you want. They don't have the right to get their money back but they're definitely allowed to complain about it. If I give the local bum $10 because he says he needs food and he ends up spending it on meth I have the right to complain to him and my mum, he won't give me the money back but I'm free to complain all I want.
  9. What? If someone invested 100mil into SUOMI and feels upset about this of course they have the right to complain about it. SUOMI also has the right to ignore or rofl at it if he wants.

Haha how cute I assume you botted before. Im willing to say 70% of runescape is an active botter as in someone botting a skill or goldfarming. Im willing to say that 90% of runescape has botted on the account they are on. i hope you're kidding.
  11. An emotional investment. People donate for selfish reasons. Selfish reason is they want to be part of the first player journey to 5bil xp. Journey fails, therefore personal investment fails. OR I donate irl gps to a charity because I want african kids to have schools, because I want to feel like I've helped african children out. Charity doesn't build school, I don't get to feel good about myself. You didnt specify any sort of payback guarantee. Now run along now. If you paid for a charity to support african kids and they spend 80% of the money on non donation related stuff (which they legally can) you wont get any sort of refund I don't expect a refund, I didn't donate anything.

  14. Glad you realize that everything is done for a selfish reason. Surely now you also realize that it's irrational to be upset with Suomi, then? What? That doesn't follow at all. People donate because they have a personal investment in SUOMI, therefore r mad when investment doesn't work out. How is that irrational?
  15. You can't blame Suomi for that. Nobody forced them to donate anything. It's called "donating" for a reason. Nobody is forced to donate to charities but if the charities didn't do what they promised to do everyone would flip their shit. And rightfully so. You're comparing apples to oranges here. Suomi is not a charitable organization. He has no responsibility to honor those donations. An obligation? Maybe. But a responsibility? Definitely not. You're comparing apples to oranges here. Not to mention the reason people donate to charities is a selfish reason: donating to charities makes people feel better (or less bad) about themselves. But that's another discussion. He doesn't have to be a charitable organization, the same concept applies. Everything is done for a selfish reason, donating to SUOMI is no different than donating to another charity. People do it because they care about the end result or the cause. Sure people donate so they feel better about themselves but that's pretty much the motive behind everything, and donating to SUOMI is no different, they do it because they want to be part of the first players journey to 5bil xp.

  17. I stopped watching after he got kicked, but he already had the herbs and they weren't doing the tank method for the boss and I assume it was the last door so making the prayer potions could have, and looked, mostly lossless. It seems to me a bit stupid to suicide for the sake of not making potions and really costing yourself a lot of time in the form of xp to save your team at most 5 seconds of their lives.
  18. The difference between leech clans and dice clans is that people are only paying 2M for a service, not 100M+ on a bet. :P. I do freak some people out when I sell though... They give me their payment of 2-3M and I plant a flower as I say good luck. They just sit there like, "Um... WTF?" Haha I chuckled :P Well I guess it shouldn't be too mich of an issue joining a leech clan once I get my skills up, I probably won't sell floors till I'm near maxed though.
  19. Good luck wit that comp cape, how long does 10k livid farm points usually take?
  20. I'm so disappointed I didn't get it :\ really wish I could have my 4 shots at nex.
  21. Thanks for the replies everyone, while selling dungs is probably ridiculously good money I'm probably not going to even bother with it till I get the comp cape or very close to it because it seems like it demands a lot. The thing that worries me though is that it seems to require a bit of trust, kind of like how there used to be dice clans, I'd have to join a leech clan. I guess at the moment I'll start killing Glacors soon for charms and then Ill give the qbd a shot to see if I can make anything from her even without a titan. How's nex nowadays? Is it still worth trying to get into once I have a decent cash pile?
  22. I just use broad bolts for the fight caves leading up to Jad and then switch to diamonds once I get to him. I'd bring 6-8 sara brews, 4 super restores, an EE if you have it, the diamond bolts, 2-3 range potions and maybe a whip for the earlier waves. Then fill the rest of your inventory with prayer potions (10-15). Prayer really shouldn't be too much of an issue. For getting up to Jad always kill the 22s first if they're attacking you because they drain prayer and then then 90s, especially in later waves because you'll consistently be praying mage and they'll be dealing a fair bit of damage, while trying to safe spot the 180s. Avoid going into melee range of the 360s because they hit hard and just kill the 180s by safe spotting them. Even if you have to tank the 180s while killing the 90s and 22s it's not really a big deal, you should have plenty of regen from the brews and EE if you bring them. Good luck.
  23. I'm all for it. I'd like the limit to be as high as possible really.
  24. Okay, well I hate to add to all the money making threads here but I've also come back recently and here are my current stats: I've got maybe ~20mil to work with and I'm already doing farming runs and MTK with the green fingers aura. I have a spare 200k tokens for dungeoneering too and rigour/cr/ccb/cm ect. I've done most quests and so I have access to tds and glacors. Now the question is, what're the best making methods I can do with these stats and the best money making methods I can aim for, i.e. get 95 prayer then go do bandos. Rates for these things would also be appreciated, thanks! :twss: Edit: I'd eventually like to aim for the best money making methods in the game, that aren't dicing/staking ect, and I'd like help to make a plan to get there. Thanks!
  25. That's probably one of the coolest things I've seen in a while. I'm all for it. I can't imagine it being in the food though, I'd imagine it'd be on the wrapper or on the bar.
