Well, I don't really know of any clan's citadels that have the agility boost on the battlefield (definitely not mine), so I will probably just continue training via gnome/barb adv and summer pie my effigies. As for a Runescape-oriented New Year's resolution, I want to achieve max cape this year. I would like to get completionist as well, but we'll just have to see whether or not DG goes fast.

Just got 88 agility: Which allowed me to open my 16 nourished agility effigies: And was able to open several of the sated effigies after that, giving me 95 wc in the process: Opening so many effigies lately has put me kind of close to a couple of levels. I'm currently 109k from 93 construction, 139k from 92 fishing, 136k from 89 agility, and 294k from 90 mining. I ended up spending 13M on herblore supplies (I can never hold on to money long before I spend it on skills) that should put me about 150k xp or so from 93 herb, at which point I have 400k (so far anyway) in sated herb effigies I can use. Couldn't afford 1k ext def pots yet, but should be able to after a couple more gano trips. Chances are I'll hop on the BXPW bandwagon and begin saving torstols to get 99 herb from just ovls alone when it rolls around: And my current effigy stages: All 18 nourished effigies are for mining (850k from 91 mining so I can boost and open them). I decided I'm going to continue and wait to open my gorged/use my dragonkins until I'm able to open all gorged stages at once. At that point dragonkins will be used on runecrafting and agility as I had originally intended. After 90+ all stats (hopefully within a little over a week), I'm going to work on 95 firemaking (have 400k in sated xp so far) and 93 mining to boost to 95 (360k nourished, 400k sated xp so far) so I can get closer to unlocking all gorged effigy opening levels.

Seeing your pics of TD loot makes me jelly. Would you want to maybe duo/teach me how to TD sometime, or just tell me an ideal setup? I tried doing them after WGS (granted I was much lower leveled) and failed miserably. I think with practice I could get the hang of them like Glacors. I need a new money maker/effigy dropper :P

Yeah, well the high price of fire surging there now kinda drove me away, so I might be done for a while unless surge costs drop again. Been spending some time at ganos instead. I went to TDs once (granted it was right after I finished WGS and had worse stats) and died very quickly from being piled. I don't know them very well like I do Glacors, so it would take some getting used too, but I might try them before too long for more effigies/cash if I can learn how to not die lol.

Hopefully you have better luck than me. I've had 4 boots... all ragefires. Luckily they all sold for about 15-16M each. Selling dust/arma runes with 99 rc were always more profit when I did Glacors.

Well, I managed to get this: I also did 1 trip to the polypore dungeon and made another 6M profit along with 1 more effigy, putting me at 145. Considered attempting bringing a cannon to the multicombat part of the dungeon for faster effigies, but decided I'd just save money and try to avoid possibly dying. 89 mining allowed me to boost to 91, which finished up the rest of my starved effigies. Also got some random xp with the new nourished/sated ones that came from those: I'm getting pretty close to leveling up several skills, but my main focus right now is agility. I have 17 nourished effigies for a quick and easy 340k agility xp, and am currently only 83k xp from level 88 agility so I can boost and open them. I might get that tomorrow, but if not, surely I will on Sunday (got lots of plans tomorrow for New Years). My current short term goal is to get 90 agility by Sunday, and then go back to mining and get 90 by Monday.

Didn't get any levels tonight, but made decent progress. Ended up playing COD for a bit while I cut Ivy (now 257k from 95). Did a bit of agility (149k from 88), and a little mining (412k from 89). Afterwards I went down to the polypore dungeon to try it out again and managed to make 6M in a couple of hours, as well as 2 more effigies, putting me at 144 total. At this rate I'll be making many more trips down there in between skilling to rebuild my bank and collect more effigies. I shouldn't have a problem getting 89 mining tomorrow (work a long boring shift at work, perfect opportunity). If I have time I'll try and get 88 or 89 agility, but if not then it's no big deal.

I'm going to work on 88 agility today now, followed by (hopefully) 89 mining and agility by the end of tomorrow.

Got a lot more mining xp done at work yesterday (284k): I should get 88 today, and then I'm going to take a small break and train agility. A little over 300k off 88, but if I can get that today, I can boost to 93 agility, letting me open 15 nourished effigies for a fast 300k xp, making 89 a breeze. I would like to get all that done today, but we'll just see what happens. I also decided to sell my gold ore (it's about 275 ea right now) instead of smelting all those bars. I was going to do Glacors again, but with fire surges at 2k/ea, I don't see them bringing in profit, so I bought a polypore staff and some ppots. When I get tired of skilling for a bit I'm going to head down there and try to make some money (and get more effigies!)

Someone I've met that has more effigies than me :blink: What are you killing for them, and what are you going to use the dragonkins on?

Haha yeah. I'm really wanting to wait to open all my gorged ones on the same day, but I may be tempted to start opening them the second I get a level for one of them lol, but we'll see. At least 99 runecrafting will come really fast :P.

This took a lot longer than I thought it would, but got it nonetheless, as well as 87+ all skills: Took 5.5 hours using mining juju + yak so I could semi-afk while watching yt vids and browsing 9GAG. 91 definitely won't happen this week, but gonna keep mining nonstop till 91 anyway.

That's the plan, but probably not much. I need 30k gold ore for 91 mining, which I'm going to smelt when I'm feeling lazy for 92 smithing. Bars should sell for a couple mil. Also, I'm beginning to notice a lot of people are desperate for 98 craft assists for crafting ganoderpic armor. I assisted like 3k crafting xp last night to various people for 350k, so I might keep doing that when possible.

138 finally

I accomplished a lot today. First off, my original goal was to get 91 construction, and I managed to knock 87-91 out of the way fairly quickly: This of course in turn led to me opening all of my construction effigies. I'm currently 353k from 93 construction just from opening effigies today after 91, and will be getting all xp from now on from opening effigies and assists: Getting me this: I had a little extra cash and time left over, and noticed I had a few particular types of effigies building up, so I decided to get a couple of extra levels: Which then allowed me to open a lot of effigy stages. I realized I've gained over 9M xp in the last 48 hours, which is quite a bit for me.: Afterwards I sorted out all of my effigies again, and wanted to see how many of each I have. Mining is the only combo still locked for me, hence the 13 starved effigies: I don't have the skills to begin opening any gorged effigies yet, but when I do, I imagine I'll just start using them on runecrafting. ...and finally, right as I was about to get off, I was stuck staring at my 10M cash stack, wondering what I should invest it on. Somehow I decided to use it on prayer, although I don't know why. I knew it was going to be expensive in the end, and seeing as I just spent 30M+ on construction and 13M on summoning last night, why not just spend another 15M on prayer and get 138 combat in the process? I ended up having to sell everything worth value in my bank (including high alching my skillcapes @ 59.6k ea) to afford all the dragon bones, but oh well. A couple of hours later: The only item left of value on my account now is my dragon pick, which I wasn't going to sell because I need it for mining badly. I don't mind that my net wealth is only about 10M right now. I have played and leveled just fine off of a low net wealth throughout the entire life of my account, and things tend to have a way of working out, so I'll be fine. Starting tomorrow I'm going to begin working on 91 mining to unlock my last effigy combo, as well as 90 agility to knock out another 90s cape requirement. Currently only 14 levels away from the 90s cape. I imagine I'll have it sometime around the first part of January.

Looking into getting 99 ranged. Does anyone have an idea of how much range xp you get per chin on ape atoll? I'll be using full void as well as steel titan, ext range, and just leeching range. Thanks.

How well are you turning a profit with the current cost of fire surge? I quit doing them for a bit thinking they may not make much money now, but seeing as you're still killing them, do you turn a profit/at least break even without boot drops?

Tonight was a good night. I finally finished up a goal that I've been putting off for over 2 weeks, 91 RC. From this point on I'm done crafting runes for training purposes. ZMI burnt me out. I'm hoping that troll invasion, penguins, JOAT (starting next month), random event xp lamps, and opening my own effigies, along with assisting later on down the road (around 95 or 97. getting a 91 assist is impossible), will get me 99 fairly quickly, possibly before most of my other skills: I was about to start working on construction when I randomly decided to train to 99 summoning: It was nice because I had the funds available, as well as an excess of charms. It took me 2 hours to gain the 2.8M xp needed (would have been much shorter in comparison if I could have afforded to do all the xp with 3500 geysers, but was too expensive). I ended up making 4,813 yaks and 900 geyser titans, and lost a total of 13M once everything was said and done. I know I said I wasn't going to get anymore 99s until the day I maxed previously, but I don't see that being feasible with the way I like to play. Getting 99s occasionally keeps me motivated to keep going, so I'll probably just go with the flow from this point on. Not sure how many more effigies I'll get; it really just depends on when fire surges become cheaper for Glacors (last time I checked they were 2k/surge). I'm considering going back to the Ganodermics, as I've heard they still turn a profit along with a somewhat decent effigy rate. Tomorrow I'm going to try and use up my 13.8k mahog planks for 91 construction, then open my many construction effigies. Afterwards I'm going to work on 90 agility and 91 mining by the end of this week.

Heh, Same w/me and Crafting. Except no one had Craft Effigies today, so I did a 93 and 95 Fletch Effigy for two people, the 91 guy got 93 Craft next. I used up my 30k limit. Jagex REALLY needs to increase the Assist XP based off QP or something. Chances are most of the xp from this point on will come from penguins, random event lamps, troll invasion, and opening my own effigies. I see people waiting all day to get 97 RC assists, so I'm not going to waste my time. I'll be assisting 91 construction and smithing since they go fast. #10

Used 16 antique lamps (frem, fally, varrock, karajma elite) to get 89-91 in a few seconds. Done crafting any runes for good. Also 99 summ tonight:

Currently 104k to 91 RC. Ended up playing more COD instead. I will still be able to get tonight. I also bought enough shards and secondaries to use my 4,813 crimson charms to make yaks. This will put me about 700k from 99 summoning. I ended up selling my 8k addy bars after I realized how expensive the gp/xp was going to end up being, letting me buy my dpick back as well as supplies for summoning.
