Ended up DGing some more and got this: I'm at 355k tokens atm, but don't have any idea what I want to spend them on, so I'm just going to save them. Crafted some more air bstaves as well as some green dhide bodies to finish up my 9th 99: Not sure how much I'll play tomorrow. If I do I'll probably get 85 rc, 85 agility, and 91 wc.

Decided to take advantage of the double xp DGing and got this after a little over an hour. Currently 988k to 100, and I think I'm going to try and get that (which is 2300 total) tonight.

glacor help
Refusing to get CSB, ASN, CSS, and rapier are going to severly slow kills, but do as you wish. Place more emphasis on melee, seeing as you're going to be spending most of your time killing glacytes, especially without a titan. Swap infinity boots for dragon, ahrim hood for neitz, and continue to use the god book but swap with a ddef and use a decent weapon for the glacyte stage. Seeing as you're not going to have a rapier, a whip (with whip vine if you can) would be the next best option. Also bring an ext atk, str, and def pot with you. I like to use 1 ext melee set, 2 ext mages, a prayer renewal, and ~8 ppots for each trip as it works well, but you'll figure out what works for you soon enough. NOTE: Keep an eye on the Glacor's attacks while killing the glacytes and prayer switch accordingly. When the glacytes spawn, fire surge the enduring one once. During the attack animation, flip on turmoil, switch to ddef and whip, and select an attack style (you'll need to do this since you were autocasting a spell previously), then attack the sapping glacyte. Move back a bit so that you're about 10-12 spaces from the Glacor, that way the enduring's defence is low enough to kill quickly. Keep an eye on the increasing bar over the unstable glacyte. When it fills completely, the glacyte will freeze in the spot it's in and explode after a second, causing damage to a 3x3 area around it. This attack is easily avoided so long as you pay attention. It becomes second nature to avoid this after several kills. After the sapping glacyte is killed, kill the enduring, and finally the unstable last. Be sure to flip back to leech magic for maging the Glacor. In terms of praying, the blue orb is mage, and the spikes are range. While protect from range will block the standard range attack 100%, the mage attack will still hit through mage protection, just the damage is minimal. Be careful of their special range attack, which is several spikes that will fly at you at once. Simply move away from where you're standing to avoid this attack. Note that if the Glacor is maging you, and does the special range attack, his next series attacks are going to be all range. Unlike most monsters in RuneScape, you only need to activate the protection prayers before they hit you, not before the Glacor actually casts the attack (like Jad). Use turmoil once the glacytes spawn, and use leech magic whenever you're attacking the Glacor; that is, if you want to/can afford to. It speeds up kills. When you feel comfortable with prayer switching, try to ease off of the unicorn and practice ss'ing (only really need to while maging the glacor) to gain back your hp. This will prepare you for when you begin using iron/steel titans. Since you don't have an iron or steel titan, I should just stick with a unicorn for occasional healing until you get the hang of things. It couldn't hurt to bring a few rocktail just in case of emergencies also. Sorry for the long response, but I figured I'd try to help you out as much as possible. Although I HIGHLY suggest getting the chaotics and equipment mentioned earlier, as well as an iron/steel titan for faster kills, these can be killed without them, it just takes longer. Best of luck with boots and effigies!

Killed 96 more Glacors this evening and got 4 more effigies, giving me this: I'm probably going to get 2300+ total tomorrow seeing as I'm only 2 levels away.

Thanks! Yeah it will take some time, but it will all be worth it in the end. Opening 232 gorged effigies is just over 17M xp when combining the dragonkins. I'm hoping I can do it all in less than an hour :P I figured out that I'll make sure I'm just enough xp away in "opening skills" so that opening the gorged effigies gives me 99 in those too, so I should get 99 construction, 99 mining, 99 herblore, 99 firemaking, 99 fishing, 99 summoning, 99 agility (dragonkin), and 99 runecrafting (dragonkin) in less than an hour :D To bad I still need 128 effigies haha. 128 hours of cave crawlers... Or slightly more of black dragons/black demons. Although I know this isn't a permanent rate, I'm averaging over an effigy/hour (4/hr below) on glacors, and atleast they make you money, and great charms too. I'll be getting all 232+ from here seeing as I have a chance to make good money off boots too.

Dat rate

Im stupid. Now to make money :|
Take the time to train hunter and get juju farming potions, then start regular herb runs. Invest in MTK. Start DGing and obtain some chaotics for slaying more efficiently.

Armadyl Runes VS. Armadyl Battlestaff
Just clicking on the shards will always try to create an orb, but it will only work if you have 100+, and you don't need a pestle and mortar to make the orb, just the dust.

Got 88 Smithing today as I planned: Done smithing gold for good. Addy plates till 99 when the money is available. Also killed 85 Glacors tonight for 4 effigies. 2 of them were 5 kills apart, while the other 2 were 2 kills apart. Not bad. Also have 136 dust at the moment. I'll most likely just hold on to my dust until someone with 99 rc is willing to assist me so that I can get the most money/shard. I now have 103 out of 232 effigies banked. My main goal tomorrow is 86 agility so I can finally open my agility effigies while boosted. ~650k or so xp I need to gain, so it's going to be a busy day.

Played Modern Warfare 3 quite a bit upon release, and went to bed early last night due to lost sleep the night before, so I wasn't on here much. Got this just now though: Got 88 smithing banked from all the gold ore I mined, so I'll probably do that today, then start up glacors again tonight.

Oct's blog - 106/120 Slayer, 113 Magic!
Yeah, you've got some pretty nice drops for 3k kills. I don't have mine down to the exact number, but I'm probably in the vicinity of 400 kills or so and only 41 shards and an elite so far. Just like you I decided I'm going to effigy my way to 99 rc and agility haha. I need a total of 232 effigies to go from 94 in both to 99 in both. 99 effigies so far. Hopefully I can rake in some nice money like you with boots soon :P

Didn't finish everything I wanted done tonight, but with the addition of some DGing I did, I'd say it was a fairly good day. Had a pretty strange dungeon that had lvl 1-5 monsters in most of the rooms. Didn't know if we were just really lucky or something was bugged. Wanted to test out how much the xp/hr here was for me, so I just timed how long it took to do 185k xp and did it in 53 minutes, so ~210k xp/hr. I'm going to do pyramid plunder for 84 to test the rates there. After 83 though I became dead tired so I'll finish it up later. One of my upcoming goals is to get 99 ranged, summoning, crafting, and dungeoneering all in the same dungeon. After 84 thieving I'm going to start working towards that, meaning the slow raising of my minimum skills will be put on the backburner for a while. I'll still continue to train woodcutting and smithing most likely while I'm afk.

Here's how I'm going to max As I level all skills to 99, I'll leave runecrafting and agility at 94. I will accumulate a total of 232 effigies, opening each of them until they're gorged. Upon having reached 99 in all skills but runecrafting and agility, I will open all gorged effigies. These 232 dragonkin lamps will provide 5,102,700 experience in each runecrafting and agility. I plan on going from 94-99 in both skills in between 30 minutes to an hour. I currently need to max 15 more skills before this, and obtain 133 more effigies. Plan on this happening in 2012, sometime.

Armadyl Runes VS. Armadyl Battlestaff
I went based off of this http://services.runescape.com/m=itemdb_rs/Dust_of_armadyl/viewitem.ws?obj=21774 I didn't know if it had a street value that was way higher or not.

Armadyl Runes VS. Armadyl Battlestaff
If I have this correct (if not please correct me): *Using GE Values* 100 shards = 1 bstaff, which is crashing from what I've heard at 15.4M? 100 shards = 800 dust = x amount of runes depending on your rc level (same as air crafting rate) so 99 runecrafting makes 8,000 runes, at ~2.1k each? If so, that makes battlestaff-contributing-shards worth ~154k or less, and rune-contributing-shards worth ~168k ea. It would seem that runes are the obvious choice, but it sounds too good to be true. I've got 34 shards at the moment and am hurting for money. Theoretically speaking, would it be wiser to make runes instead of saving for a battlestaff? Also, it shows that dust, which you get 8 of per shard, is ~1.1k ea, making dust-contributing-shards worth ~8.8k each...? Unless I'm missing something, why would anyone sell dust that cheap? Again, please correct me if I've missed something.
