  1. Keep trying, you'll get the hang of them. I did brutal my first couple of trips and now they're very easy.
  2. Did mainly mining tonight with some crafting on the side. Took a hit by paying 1.9k per air orb, but had ~3k staves from people, so I didn't mind as much. And I decided I'm going to continue to level up skills together so all skills are "x+" level, except for construction. Seeing as I'm poor atm, I'm going to leave it at 81 until I can get a hold of ~30M to train it to 88. Hoping to level all skills aside from construction to at least 84 tomorrow. We'll see.
  3. I've got CSB already and am using ASN and CS as well. Can't afford ahrims for the time being, but it's first on my my list to get once I've got the money. I want to break the safespotting habit, but really can't with void due to low defense. I will once I get ahrims. Would this be an optimal setup? Neit (e) full of scrolls, ASN, Ahrim's top/bottom, D-boots, CSB, CS, Fire cape, RoW? Swap out ddef+rapier for glacites.
  4. I know you can put Iron Within inside the helm, but would it really be useful to use a neit helm? I'm currently using Elite Void with a void gloves and a mage/melee void swap. CBA to get the defender/deflector or whatever it's called.
  5. Not sure why, but the way combat familiars (titans in particular) work has always stumped me. I'm getting more and more into killing glacors, and have become comfortable enough with ss flashing to ditch the uni, and would like to start using an iron titan (until steel ofc), but have a few questions: 1) By just having the titan spawned, does it automatically choose what it wants to attack nearby? Is there anyway to control this? 2) I'm pretty sure that when I used titans a couple of times during slayer, having an enchanted helm full of scrolls allowed them to constantly use them immediately rather than me having to select it each time. I won't be using headware that can hold scrolls, so do I still have to "ask" the titan to use them? 3) What would be the best option to have as the left-click option for titans? Attack, Special ability, or Familiar Details? Say I want to take out the Sapping/Enduring Glacite using the titan, how would I go about doing that efficiently? Sorry if these questions seem kind of stupid, but the way combat familiars work is something that has always confused me. I know everyone talks about how great they can be, but I need some help on using them efficiently. Thanks in advance.
  6. Well, I got 99 Magic, my 7th 99: Didn't get 87 Smithing yet, I'll get it in the morning. I've lost count of the number of Glacors I've killed, but I would guess it's between 400-500 now. Got a couple more effigies, putting me at 99 banked effigies total. Sadly I'm starting to get a bit bored of them, but they're the only semi-reasonable hope for cash I have now. Currently 34/100 shards. I'm barely turning a profit at the moment with fire surge due to no boot drops yet. Really need some steadfasts soon. Tried out LRC Rocktails for a bit just to see the fishing xp/gp hr. It's not horrible for afk, but with with barb fishing offering agility xp, and c2s now doable for me, idk if I'll continue this method. I'm open to any reasonable money making methods btw :P
  7. Killed some Glacors this morning and got another effigy. Should get 87 smithing today. Afterwards I'm going to just camp Glacors for the rest of the night in hopes of some boots and a few more effigies. This will also get me 99 magic tonight for 99 #7.
  8. A couple of levels: Quest Cape back Which led to this And I got bored which led to some efficient dging Did Troll Invasion, Penguins, and The Branches of Darkmeyer, all of which gave me 240k Runecrafting xp. 25k away from 85 (next week's penguins). Did a few glacors but nothing special.
  9. Well, I got 2 things on my list done haha I made a bit more progress towards 86 smithing as well, only 2k more bars. I might get that done tomorrow. Also did a few DG floors. 497k to 98. Camped Glacors for a little bit in hopes of some boots, but no such luck. Just an effigy and a few more shards. My net wealth is down to about 3-4M at the time being, so I'm desperately hoping I can get a hold of some boots soon (preferably steadfast) so I can get some better gear. I'm hoping I can get my hands on whatever the new 95 slayer monster drops pretty quickly in hopes of making some good money then also, so that's mainly what I'm preparing for. I might be waiting a little longer to train crafting. Bots kept air orbs relatively cheap, and with them gone now, I can't get orbs for even 2k ea, so I'll definitely be waiting a while for them to drop, or until I have more money. Thankfully this didn't happen until the very end of me training crafting. Glacor Statistics: 242 Kills, 4 Effigies, 1 Elite, 21 Armadyl Shards.
  10. Got this last night Goals for tonight: 89 Fishing 86 Smithing 83 Agility Get Quest Cape back (Do The Branches of Darkmeyer) 85 Runecrafting If there is any left over time, camp glacors.
  11. Only 2 levels tonight I imagine I'll have 99 crafting within the week Upcoming goals: 88 fishing, 83 agility, and 90 woodcutting + 94 firemaking from curlies.
  12. EoE clanmembers can't afford 99 summ/pray (myself included)
  13. Gimme a week or two. You'll definitely beat me then. Add me in game if you want to dg together. How are. You training dg when you do it? Are you going for max/comp? Or are you just talking about 99 rc? I DG with EoE when there are floors going and I'm not busy.
  14. Good weekend. Finished ROTM and Seers Elite for a free 385k runecrafting xp real quick Was going to boost to open my 6 starved woodcutting effigies, but no one makes mature axeman folly for the +2 boost. Also killed 99 Glacors so far. Think I'll make them my main money maker now.
  15. Just finished the quest yesterday and killed 47 last night using this set up, swapping staff + csb for ddef + rapier. How necessary is the void, if at all? I was considering using some actual melee defense armor to reduce prayer usage when fighting glacites, or would ahrims be better? I don't have much money so can't afford bandos or anything. Thanks!
  16. El Dorado, near Wichita. I'm from KCMO, and I have actually family near Wichita. I remember going to family reunions when I was younger in two smaller towns. Madison and Goddard I believe. Yeah I know those two towns. Never been there much myself other than to play against them in high school sports, but that's cool.
  17. My job is pretty boring at times, so I have quite a bit of downtime to do afk skills such as fishing and ivy. Got these today: Made ~1k extreme range pots for 91 herb so I could assist easily now, and open my nourished herb effigies as well. Did a few floors also. Back to my original setup of ssh and primal baxe which I like best. Currently 167k from 97 DG with a fresh reset, so hopefully I can get 98 this reset. 99 in a couple of weeks. Going to bed now. We're going to the hospital again tomorrow for a check up on Ellie (now that she's over 2 weeks old). May upload some more pictures later.
  18. Level ups from the past couple days: Also, 86 fishing allowed me to open 16 starved fishing effigies of mine. Felt great to finally be able to begin to use a good portion of my effigies on slow skills. Now if I can only hurry up and get wc and agility to 89/86. Right before I finished up 86 fishing some of my clan decided we should do a ssh hunt for me. Sure enough, first abandoned floor, 3 rooms in, first spider, drops hood. Made me so grateful to finally have one again. Then a few dungeons later we got another hood. I'll probably go up many fishing/wc levels here soon due to doing homework often or playing Xbox.
