  1. [qfc]25-26-187-63506974[/qfc] page 597 Optimus is released; but as you said, the bot nuking aspect isn't absolutely released yet. Neat!
  2. Jmods already confirmed QBD will be instanced to enforce soloing it. Oh, I thought they had said it could be grouped if you wanted, but soloers would have the option to do so.
  3. Runetracker Ah so THAT is what people use runetracker for. I always have used the other one (runetrack). Thanks for answering the same question I had. :) On topic - it's nice to see some (a lot) bots were banned. I still hope for the bigger nukes, though since Optimus is released at this point, I don't know if they'll officially announce them.
  4. I would agree that I like your idea here more than having xp options on the SoF. Someone posted on the RSOF about buying 99 using the wheel. It cost him $1200. Granted, in retrospect, he regrets his decision, but it only shows people are willing and therefore hard to get Jagex to change their minds.

Ditto! I like people to be able to contact if they need to, so I always play with private on. Always lame when I get these messages though. :wall:
  6. Their customer support is sooooo much better now than it even was a few months ago. Then, there was no email to use and Jmods were never in the respective support forums. At least now we have that, even if it still isn't perfect.
  7. I don't mind it personally. After spending so much time with RSOF, it's fairly easy to manage how stickies work here compared to there lol. Also, if the sticky is ever updated, wouldn't it be good to have it not hidden? How would someone find it if they need to access it if the sticky is hidden?
  8. Good luck with this. Nice to see there's still a thriving community in the F2P side! :D
  9. I'm sure there will be something. Be kind of lame in my opinion if you get there and there's the potential for nothing. :P I like the creative ideas that have been presented thus far, but I highly doubt it's something that elaborate.
  10. I'd personally agree with the sentiments opposing the lodestone system... I mean, obviously I find the teleports convenient. But the fact they tried to emphasize how they're not as close or convenient to places shows that Jagex recognizes the potential for making things too easy. And for me, their efforts were not productive - the teleports are useful in their own right for other uses. So in effect, we just have more teleports to get us anywhere without any effort. We're closing in on having a Jmod ability to teleport to any point on RS at will. :P I don't think it needs to be removed ... but it's trudging a fine line that I don't think should've been approached.
  11. Re: Game of Drones Article was a nice read. I've seen a lot of talk recently about how the 'end' of Runescape is coming. It's a nice article to address that. Personally, I don't see any reason present that absolutely says "hey, guys, the game's going to end any time now." Jagex is trying different methods of gaining members, boosting sales, increasing prices, spreading into different game arenas, etc. I don't agree with all of them, but I understand the need for experimentation. These changes tend to reflect in the player base as 'the beginning of the end' when it could also be the opposite, 'the beginning of a new start.' I'm probably going to leave Runescape someday, but I have no plans to do so in the immediate future. I stick around for the stories, the community, and friends. I'm not big on skilling itself - but of course I recognize that as a major part of what it is is to 'play RS.' Re: Gee, Thanks Well, unfortunately I'd have to agree with several of the comments thus far. The article didn't do much for me, but I do understand the FPS issue has affected many players since the Bot Nuke. That said, Jagex is working to fix it as best they can - no matter how you look at it, something that 'in your face' broken does not look good. Therefore, it has to be fixed ASAP. I was quite impressed when Daniel Clough (Mod Cloughie) posted on the price increase thread in General forum on RSOF saying that the lag is/was top priority for the appropriate team. The way it clumped everyone into one also just didn't suit my fancy...though I understand its valuable impact. Re: Did you know... Already knew it, but I had forgotten lol. Great tip!
  12. Welcome, Kevin. :P And as you can tell, there's a few loons about.
  13. Congratulations! I'm sure you'll do great. :D
  14. Quite an interesting idea... I'll see if I can give it a go. :)
  15. I'm quite liking the armor updates. It will definitely time to get used to, but for this update I think I can manage.
  16. Everyone ... that is a paying member, that spins twice per day, every day, that knows about the competition on the forum, and that only uses spins on 1 account have the same chance of winning. Otherwise, you have an increased/decreased chance of winning that could, in theory, be significant. I'm not going to fuss over it since it's not the end of all time, but do not think it's entirely "fair" just because it's "luck"-based. They don't automatically go hand-in-hand.
  17. I'm personally not a fan of this contest. The reward is so steep and there is nothing but luck involved in winning. It's different when there's skill involved such as in machinama, because the person is doing something to deserve it as opposed to just spontaneously receiving it. But I digress. It's not worth too much worry, and good luck to everyone.
  18. That was only a small selection of weapons. They said they would update more weapons in due course, but never got around to it...
  19. I can understand the decision, but I do agree there was just too much lack of communication for this to all be seen as to have gone off without a hitch. StellarDawn's forums were not being attended to by Jagex, there was no communication about it.
  20. Looks like it will be an exciting update. :D I have a suggestion ... how about posting the teaser pictures on the home page? Then link back to this thread for discussion. Personally, in the past, I found the teaser pics too hidden in the recesses of the forums to bother looking at them.
  21. Welcome! I'm fairly new too, but I'm enjoying it so far.
  22. Oh no, I'm scared. I don't whether I'm scared for myself or for him.... Haven't had the pleasure of seeing you in action in the past, but welcome back. :)
  23. I'd just like to start out saying that your video is very thought-provoking and well put together. So, great job on that.
