There have been countless alternatives suggested in both the normal RuneScape forums and HLF, and there has been literally zero Jmod response to those on the HLF (and I'm on HLF a lot) so I think it would just be a pointless cause. Unfortunately there's just no getting between Jagex and their money. There is little to no moderation or Jmod activity there anyway (hence why it's such a trollhouse) so I hope you weren't under the impression that there was.

Personally I think that the hiscores are supposed to show them simply because they have invested the necessary time and effort to earn their rightful place... I'm not going to screw up what the hiscores should be just becauase Jagex is doing it for monetary purposes... (Unless of course, the vote is pretty much unanimous for me to exclude inactives in the updates)

Eh, if there not going for 200m skills, why should they be in the update? Because I'm not going to write an update that consists solely of Suomi, Dragonseance, Gemeos2, and the next person who posts.

O sweet, a nolife debate, we haven't had 1 of dem for like 300 page, reminds me of th' good ol' days OT: Do you guys want me to still include the inactives in updates, personally I'd rather not support Jagex's greedy moneymaking scheme and take people such as my dear friend Elias out of his position that he rightfully earned - But it's up to you guys. I'm pretty sure it goes without saying that I would still keep in touch with my many good friends on this game. I never said the people I've met were a waste, so my bad if that's how I came across. I've been a huge hiscore junkie ever since I started this game (which was also the main reason that brought me to this thread 14 months ago) and the main reason I play is for the sense of personal accomplisment rather than to play to impress others. I almost always check up on the ranks on my hiscore page every time I log out, so seeing all my ranks gone would undermine the reason I play, which is for the sense of accomplisment in getting those ranks. I'm pretty sure that nobody in the world cares that I'm rank 261 Cooking or could be rank 30 something Hunter. Hell, nobody even checks the second page in those skills anymore. That's fine with me, I couldn't care less. I don't play so other people can scroll through 10 pages of Cooking just to see my name. However, I care about my ranks because they are meaningful to me as I got them myself, and that's all that should matter. I totally agree, play for what floats your boat and what you find fun, not to try to prove yourself to others.

@Athymy - I'm glad you have the maturity to just let the game go altogether after you quit. Personally, I would rather have something to show for all the time wasted on the game, and I'm sure many others would as well.

I might just go for Trim and quit, no point in going for xp goals anymore since when you quit nobody will be able to look you up At least I keep track of a list of Trimmed Capers on HLF Nobody is going to make a list or keep track that I'm number 30 something to 200M Hunter so screw that

Well, this is some shit right here. So I'm 124M Hunter and when I get 200M I have to keep lifelong membership in order to keep my rank? Not sure if quit Also, who is going to want to spend thousands upon thousands of hours grinding for a 200M stat with the stability of the hiscores removed... Probably who I feel the most sympathy for here is Water and El Popo
