Don't know if i really agree with this. I used to do a lot of Lesser tasks there for the heck of it. I usually used Full Dhide, Rune def (sometimes DFS), Whip, (claws for specs) and then just full Dhide with D boots, Zerker (i) and fire cape. Also a fury. I used to get a good 12 kills per trip using overloads + turm. Cant remember if i was using brews or sharks though but pretty sure it was half half. Also i remember a lot of duo trips where we would get 80+ KC wearing just void/dhide and rune defenders. Me and lalala actually did a 100+ duo trip once both of us wearing Dhide.

Zammy is easier in the sense that you don't really need to be potted to kill him. I found him a lot easier than i did Bandos. Also it's easier to spot his spec as he gives you kind of a warning, so you know to eat early. Also when using a GS at Zammy its easy as heck to kill him. You just hit, walk under him, wait 2 seconds, attack him, repeat. This way you dont get hit by him while you wait to attack again making it a 1 hit for 1 hit match.

Failed arguement tbh! :thumbdown: Anyway, to the OP. Like everyone has said, BGW is something you want to avoid these days. Teams are good for a quick 5m or so, but it might be hard to find open worlds these days. And even finding an open world isnt always good enough because you need to compete against higher levels and better equipment. Unless you have a team that all has chaotics, ovl, turm, max armour str and claws for specs you will get crashed no matter what. Besides that, your summoning level and magic level is not what it should be for a solo. I did a few solos back when i had 70 magic and like 50 summoning. I never got more than 1 kill. You end up wasting time and money. If you dont feel like question for TD's then zammy would be your best bet. He is very underrated imo. Sure he only drops a spear and a hilt thats really worth while, but i find his drop a bit more common dispite what KB says. He's also easier than bandos in the sense that you can almost solo him with just a Unicorn. Also getting the correct setup for him is easier seeing as you can use Void or even just Black Dhide. With a good invo, you could still get 2 or 3 kills even at your level.

I killed all 3 :/ Oh wait. well i get hit, but i just SS on Rex to make up for what i've lost. So either way i still didn't drop below a dangerous LP level. Anyway i guess i should get something a bit better just for the safety of it. Seeing as DFS is out of my range i'll stick with Obby shield.

What i meant was that i don't have an issue with defense in that sense that i get hit very few times. And when i do get hit 90% of the time EEE and Uni is enough to keep me well alive. This is so during duo and solo.

Well seeing as Defense really isn't that much of an issue, i guess sticking with the book will be best? It provides a great bonus for 2 of the styles used and a meh bonus for the other.

Setup i used was something like this: Ah Hood, Skirt and Top. Mage Book. Master Wand (although i suggest a SoL now seeing as it's cheaper). Infinity Boots. Seer's (i) (assuming you have 300 MA Rank). Fury (i'm sure you don't really want to spend more time at DG now). Barrow's Gloves. God Cape. My invo looked something like this: Prossy Plate + Legs (For luring). Barrage/Burst Runes. EE (Now EEE) [Take this incase you mess up a lure]. Teletab. The take a few Prayer Potions. You don't really need a RoL there. Dying is really hard. Even with lagg or dc you probably won't die.

Did a DK's duo trip today. I messed up pretty bad. Firstly i forgot to take Overloads which made the kills a lot slower and gave us some trouble with the respawn. Secondly my Brews and Str Pots were are close together in my bank tab so i mixed the 2 up and ended up taking Str Pots and only about 4 brews. Needless to say we could not stay nearly as long as i hopes. Still got 2 decent drops withint the first 25 kills and walked away with a nice 3m each. Not bad for an hours work.

Balmung is slow, fyi. There are very few places where a whip is not the best non-chaotic weapon, and this is not one of them. Okay using whip will take up an extra invo space. so should i just keep the def equiped when i mage/range or should i sacrifice the extra slot and take unholy book?

Simple question. Whip + Def or Balmung? Doing a Duo so should i go for speed or power?

Yeah a friend of mine actually told me about the Superheating while mining things. I am yet to try it but if it works i think i'll probably do that. Although that involves some grinding, somthing i am trying to avoid. I'd much rather take a week longer to reach my goal than do something i dont enjoy. Last time i checked i think i needed about 170 more sc hammers for 99 Con. Or maybe it was 2k points. I can;t quite remember. Anyway i enoy the minigame but not so much that i can get all the hammers i need in one go. So i was thinking maybe get a few hammers just to help out a bit. Seeing as i won't really need the hammers to get 99 i rally am just gettng them to speed it up a bit.

So at the moment i am doins some Slayer, but i'll most likely to take a week or so break from Slayer soon as i reach 97. After that i'll fall back to skilling a bit for a while. I just have a few questions about the skills i plan on raising. First of all know that i'm not really worried about the most efficient way of training, but i am open to your idead and thoughts. First of all i am going to do Woocdutting a bit. My aim is to do something i can use later. That's why i have decided to stick to Mahogany. I can use the logs later and raise my Construction. I did some calculations and if i use the logs later i can get to 14.5m exp without SC hammer and about 22.5m exp with sc Hammers. So i am pretty safe for a 99 regardless of what i use. I'll probably try throw in a few hammers just to shorten the time duration and to save a few planks. I know a lot of people will say Mahogany is a bad way, but i get about 45k exp which is pretty fast. Also the logs that i have left over after 99 Con can go into some FM exp. Then for Mining i plan on doing Concentrated Gold soon a i get 80 (79 at the moment) and then superheating/smelting the ores i get into gold bars. The bars wll be used for crafting. This way i raise 3 skills without spending any money. Now, is it better to Superheat the gold ore, or will i be better of smelting them at a furnace with Gold Smith Gauntlets? I can probably smelt around 1k bars an hour, right? My ideal is to the use the bars for Crafting but i don't really know what would be the best thing to make. Obviously since i paid nothing for my supplies i wont mind any method of Crafting training as long as i don't end up wasting the bars. I was thinking of making them into gold amulets seeing as this is what most people tend to use for magic training (string jewelery). Doing this i train 6 skills (in the long run) where my intention was only to train 3. Is this an efficient way of doing it? (not looking for the MOST efficient, but i don't want to kill rats and busry bones when i would be better off killing hill giants and burying bones.)

Alrighty. I'm going to try it with Claws + Whip (seeing as Rapier is still 170k tokens away). I just need to wait for a friend to come online so i can get his claws. Then once i'm done i'll give some feedback. But thanks for the response. I know this is a worne out topic so the replies mean a lot.

Also, try keep anough supplies so that once you start nearing the end of your trip you can summon another tort and start picking up some bones for a little extra cash.

Stuff like that does just happen. I came back from a 10 month break to find my account hacked, ~600m dropped/lost snd a few hunder mill more in items/supplies. Best thing you can do is what i did. Write down a random pass. Something even you would forget 3tcxg234xzefwef. Random numbers and letters. Scan your pc for keyloggers before you do that though. But seeing as your bank pin was not known i doubt it was a keylogger. Maybe your brother found a buddy who plays rs and thought he'd be kind and share your account details with him? Don;t let him know your pass just to be safe.

Bandos would be hot, but an 8m cashpile limits me to second best. I assume void is secondbest? Only other gear i have is a V Skirt/Helm and Dhide.

Don't really care about the bonus Slayer exp too much. I'm not a very efficient Slayer seeing as i am in no rush to get 99. I just want to get my cape back. Also, i was thinking of just using void. A lot easier. I'll use Zerker (i) + D Def and have Archer (i) and Unholy Book in invo for when i range. I'm not too worried about the low def bonus on either setups. I can use Super Prayer instead of the normal then pop a few more brews in the Invo. Also EEE + SS should keep me alive. Guess i'll try get him down to just before half HP (which usually isn't too hard) run back to a safe spot, switch to claws, gather myself then go for the double spec. If that fails (which shouldnt) i'm likely to be 2 or 3 hits away from getting the KO, so i'll pull out the whip and let the whip finish the job. Sound like it could work?

Lets assume i don't get the 360 Melee down. I'll take Ranged gear to range them. So i'll have Melee + Ranged gear when it comes to Jad. I know the point of Meleeing Jad is to avoid the healers. They usually come out when he's down to about 75% hp right? So if i can do that and whip out the claws just as they start making their way over, with good specs i should be able to take down jad in a flash. I justt have no back up plan...
