  1. I'm not too excited about having to Melee Jad all the way. I'm kind of hoping to get him low enought for a potential KO. If i fail i really don't want to hsve a fist fight. I'd rather run like a girl, hide, and try again after spec fills up. Or i'd evn rather take a few steps back and just finish Jad off with Range. I'm pretty slow on switching so i wish to spend as little time possible at melee range.
  2. Well it is possible to take him out with 2 good specs when he's down to 75% health, right?
  3. I know we're all bored of this topic but i know when it gets to Fight Caves i can use all the help i can get. I also know this is a community where players have defeated Jad in almost every way you can think of. So this really is the place to ask. Anyway i want to get my Fire Cape again...for the 5th time... I want to Melee Jad. I'm not doing it to save time or anything. I am just doing it because i think the less time i spend Prayer Switcing the less time i have to mess up. Problem is i have no idea what to really do. I can Melee the whole cave no problem, but soon as the 360's come out to play i have no idea how to melee them. I have no desire to get so far then get... well owned. So first question, how do i handle the 360's? Second question. How do i hadle Jad? Lets assume he spawns at Italy. I was thinking of ranging him ill he is down to 75% health or so. Retreat, switch to Void and Weild Claws. Rush him with Overload, Turnmoil and Melee/Mage/Range/SS Curse (don't know which to use). If the specs fail... well thats where i don't know what to do. I only have whip + d def. No chaotic weapons. Should i fall back and range? or should i try whip it out while prayer switching? I really have no clue. Any help would be good.
  4. And these are the kind of people who call anyone higher level then them "no lifers". Hmm Oh hell yes i just love waisting my time going about calling everyone higher than me no-lifers. Tbh i have a quick link to high scores just so i can search the players as thye run by and see if i should start dishing it out..... Get real. It's funny cuz that's kinda what you're doing right now. How exactly? You're getting trolled slay, and you're getting trolled good. Dude, i'm trying to troll myself. Gosh i should go find topic's that are easier to troll :( FFS i am a failed RS player.
  5. I look to gangster wearing anything else :/ Oh on the brightside, i got my D Def today after just 3 kills.
  6. So i suspect i am not meant to get a Dragon Defender any time soon. After about killing of 60 one eyed freaks i am yet to see that red glimmer. Guess i will try again tomorrow :)
  7. Yeah ecto is even better but it takes longer to get the prep work done. When i used my brawlers i used about 200 bones on ecto then went insane.
  8. Teletabs work

  11. Oh yeah i forgot. We all start playing RS and just happen to have great stats from the get go. OP, my stats STINK. People give me hell about them each day. Do i care? No. They are the failed players being so petty. So, they have higher stats? Just means they clicked the mouse a few thousand more times than i have. If i fail at anything, its failing at having a stonger index finger than they do. Anyway, as long as you have fun man. Games are meant to be that way. I look at it this way. I play Halo online. My K/D ratio is like 1:3. It stinks, but i still love playing. My blood still rushed when i am on a 4 kill spree hiding in the hopes on getting that 5th kill. Am i a failed Halo player? No, i'm just not as good as others. But there are a lot that aren't even as good as me. Don't let a 14 year old brat make you feel like you fail at a game just because you aren't capable of staring at a screen for 10 hours.
  12. For crafting i won't be much help. Construction you should o using oak Larders. I think thats still the best way to go unless you do Mahogany Doors. Runecrafting...I'd stick to double Nattures untill you can do Double Cosmics then switch to Death runes once you can. stick to Death Runes till you can do Bloods. The bloods till double Nats (although i think bloods and deaths are still better). Hunter... I did swamp lazards. Get a BoB and and catch thill its filled, bank, repeat, profit. I think i got like 40k exp an hour (if i remember correctly) and it made a nice profit.. Herblore.... well at a lov level like that you should just be cleaning herbs. Its fast and profitable at a lover level. Once you get to 65+ start making potions. o sense in spending money when you can make money. Agility i would stick to Wildy untill you reach 60 or so. Maybe even 70. Do yourself a favour though and do it in a PvP world to save yourself from revs. You might be attacked by a Pker now and then but not as ofter as a rev would come by. Then for smithing you could do iron knives. hear they are fast and profitable.
  13. "My xbox has the green visur. Can;t save a damn thing". Yeah we had a ton of that going around at Uni. And Blind i'm a noob with computers. That's why i gave away my Ipad, because i couldnt figure the thing out. I think even adding some text to a picture on Paint is like an achievement for me :D

Why would someone mention Clue Farming if they wanted to get exp? Anyway, the best way to make money is to not think about it. As soon as you start thinking money you start losing money. Best way to make money (fast) is going to be by camping at GWD/DK's and doing as many Herb Rus inbetween and doing MTK as often as you can. You can try your hand at flipping items for some extra cash. I know people who flip using 60 - 80m and make 2m a day.
  15. Got arma helm duo today. Not much, but it was super fun :D
  16. There are many substitutes for the best gear but there is no substitute for Turmoil. Also i would rather sell Bandos gear and stick with the Armadyl. Arma is a lot easier/better to solo. Also you might want to do some DK's to make money for turmoil if you really really don't want to sell gear. Dk's are better than gwd in the sense that its constant money and you don;t leave yourself relying on a large drop for income. You can make a good ammount of money per hour even without drops.
  17. Actually its funny i read this now because we just had a chat in the CC and someone said "(player's name) you are the type of person who does Slayer with a Godsword because @@@omfg high hits" and i actually said that those are the people who make this came suck. Who gives a [bleep] what you choose to wear when you Slay, What you choose to wield. Who cares what your Stats are. Dude, as long as you;re having a blast everytime you get onto RS you are a WIN! Those people who have 200m in a skill, they are the failed RS players because chances are none of them enjoyed getting there.
  18. The one with the faster fingers is going to be the winner. Usually i loose.
  19. Second quote should not have been there, i don't know why i even added that part. But as for the rest of it, how is that not an average?
  20. Just happy someone actually understood what i was trying to say. It was about 2am when i wrote that, haven't slept in nearly 2 days and feared that i might not have made sense. Anyway no use arguing about something i have no proof about.
  21. Errm, it's worthless to bring such instances into an example. I, for example, made around 300m camping for whips when cash was worth loads more(blue hat was 30m), but it's useless for giving example of a good moneymaker as the time only moves in one direction. If bringing examples, it's worthless to talk about anything but averages. Slayer isn't a good moneymaker on the basis that camping one particular monster is always better. Fair enough. But applying an avg. to something that is based on luck is impossible. You know it yourself. Some people will avg. 1 whip per task, other will avg. 1.4 per task and then there are those who will avg. 0.7 per task. Maybe it's a bit harder to make 700m now than it was a year ago (due to everything dropping a bit), but i did not say "i made 700m and so will you". I just used it as an example to show that Slayer IS actually a good money maker. Er, no. Luck is based off probabilities, so over time it will/should average out to the same number. The key is simply taking a large enough sample size. Keep in mind that these averages are made up from multiple players' results. Meaning that person x had an avgerage of 1 whip per task and person y had an average of 2 whips per task. This would give us an overall average of 1.5 whips per task. But this doesnt mean that person x and y made the same ammount of money on their way to 99 Slayer. That just means person w can expect to get ~1.5 whips per task.
  22. The example tells us that slayer has been and/or was a good moneymaker, but nothing much about the state of it nowadays. 99 slayer is usually a large enough sample size to give good averages, and we know the exact whip droprate(and have good data for other valuable drops apart from visages, which range around 20m slayer xp per). Overall, slayer is a deacent moneymaker, but certainly not a good one when it's never the best. If you want money, camping is always better. No doubt camping is better, always will be. But how many people can stand killing 5k Green Dragons or much less 1k? Sure telling someone to camp somewhere might be good for now, but in a few days when the OP gets bored of camping wherever he decides to camp we'll just have to suggest another spot, till he gets bored again.

  24. Concidering people say hilt every kill, not a very good call  Congrats though! Those are only the people that have never actually seen a hilt :P But none the less if you're doing Bandos with a random team you're bound to read the word "hilt" at least 5 times duing a kill.
  25. Well, this might be due to the fact that i forgot to mention that i got 4 SOL's when the street was ~100m :/. Also just when the Ranging Amulet came out i sold one for ~150m. Yes, that makes it stupid to say that i have made ~700m with my Slaying but it does however make it the truth. In any case i still maintaing my opinion that Slayer is a great money maker as i still manage a good 3m a day on avg. This all depends on the tasks though. Some people like me are lucky enough to get 4 Abyssal task out of 10 and getting at least 1 whip per task. Also i forgot to mention that on some lesser demon tasks i would do Zammy Gwd. It still falls under Slayer. You just need to be willing to spend a bit more time doing a skill to gain a greater wealth.
