  1. Uhm gwd equipment was out before wilderness was removed! The dark bow too (and it was actually quite a bit stronger by allowing for more specs). GWD had only been out for around 3-4 months before the removal. The equipment was still highly priced and decently rare.
  2. Finally, smite and protect item prayers will have a use again
  3. Because I don't want annoying pk'ers, rwt'ers, account sellers and beggars. Why do you play an MMO than? Games like runescape are based of be who you want to be, so they have the right to do whatever they want, just as you do. You don't like it? Deal with it. I personally don't like people like you who whine about pkers, but hey i'm not exclaiming that, am I? You just did. I did to make a point, i'm not exclaiming it though am I? Exclaiming if you didn't know...means to just outright say something.
  4. Yes, it has been confirmed that staking will be back if the poll goes through.

  6. On the topic of the hoard of supposed bots that this update will create, Jagex said that just last month they received and instituted a new combatant system for bots and RWT. This was around the same time bots started to get reset, and those resets might have just been a trial run of this system. All in all, I trust Jagex, and if they say they can combat the problems, than I'm on board.
  7. Fairly uneducated post but well just have to live with that. You just have to think- do these people want to junk trade? in all likelyhood, no. But why, then, were they doing it? I think the answer lies i that question. I don't find how it is very uneducated, sure people did junk trade if they wanted a rare, but they weren't forced into it. Somebody had to start this trend anyway, so again point out the false parts of my post. As it stands right now, with junk the street values of rares is way higher than it should be in reality, and I predict that the rares will bump a bit, but won't reach anywhere near there street values currently.
  8. I love how this last page of the thread deals with junk. Junk is just a stupid system instituted by merchers and manipulators to try and "fix" the market, when in reality they were making billions from the system and manipulating prices with ridiculous street values. Very corrupt, and those idiots who bought junk deserve to be stuck with it, I have no sympathy for them.
  9. I would be shocked if botters used script to help their cause! Not talking about in game botters, I'm talking people who know how to code and want to put their coding skills to good use. Sorry if this went over your head. This was a joke. Putting their coding skills to good use is a matter of point of view. Eh i'm tired, my fault.

  11. I have a feeling that by the end of the day tomorrow the votes will be exponentially increasing, because by that time I guarantee several people will have made scripts that grab random names and vote for them.
  12. Maybe i'm being paranoid but, I'm starting to see what's going on here...Could it be that they have no intention of implementing it, and this is just a stunt to break the world record? There are over 100m registered accounts, so more than 50m need to vote. God i'm thinking of this too much
  13. I did read thoroughly, however there is no form of account validation. You literally cannot abstain, because most likely your name was already snatched by a program and submitted already. The poll is just a hype-builder. So what are you saying, what are they building hype for? You do realize that many people will most likely quit if in fact this doesn't happen?
  14. http://www.youtube.com/user/68zl11#p/u/1/tBiGJKzvcwg
  15. You can't vote 'no'. Yes, but if you read it, they will count all the people who didn't vote as a "No", which is not good at all...I'm scared
  16. Upon further inspection of the poll page, it seems very fake to me, I hope to god this is not some practical joke. However I guess by not having a link to the poll page on the main site that it requires us to prove even more how dedicated we are about this and spread the word around. I honestly have had this little desire for this day to come for the last 3 years, and if for some reason the majority votes no, I will surely be quitting. If the majority votes no, this just proves that most of the elder members have moved on and been replaced by naive players. Yea...so, vote yes...
  17. I'm very skeptical, but this would be the greatest Christmas present ever, and I would definitely start getting into the game again.
