  1. You think 6-7 hours per day is lower than most? Are you kidding?
  2. Or type duk.im into your address bar and stop googling for urls you already know
  3. I vote the weird analogies stop being talked about
  4. Drumgun has shown he can keep his hours up for a long time whereas Pieter doesn't really have that much under his belt. If Drumgun wants to go straight for 200m I don't doubt he can do it.
  5. What was the biggest xp lead Suomi ever had over Jake?
  6. A misunderstanding of what exactly? That post was directly talking about the competition for the top spot, nothing more. No need to be so defensive. You said: "But I don't blame anyone who chooses not to play with such an anal attention to detail at such long periods of time, or who would even want to." I've never encouraged constantly paying high attention to detail for long periods of time. I've never said anyone has to do this nor have I said that any player in the game even does this. Your post had nothing to do with competition for top spot... You don't encourage it directly but you certainly like to make a point of praising people who do it. It's a debatable difference sure, but it's pretty clear you think less of 'casual' players.
  7. This isn't a question for you and as such isn't for PM. Also I think it's worth posting in the thread for others to see anyway. Nobody bother being critical of anyone here, only being nice to asses is allowed. Please leave all stupid bragging alone so no one can see there are people who reject Jebrim's points of view. In fact since all efficient methods are known (not likely to change) and no one is likely to challenge Jebrim, there's no point in posting here at all. Gf. EDIT: To be clear, you can present a massively skewed perspective of life and how smart you are and be untouchable since any criticism will be removed.
  8. I think other players realised there wasn't much point in competing for second place in a race that only a small number of people care about and even fewer are taking part in. It doesn't really take much to be first in a sprint when everyone else is jogging at best.
  9. How is this related to this thread at all?
  10. It will be a large switch-case (or just if's) but should be doable. Say you are at level x which grants you m xp per hour. The next method used is at level y with a higher xp rate. This would be (xp(y)-xp(x))/m hours until you level. And then it repeats itself. And most skills don't have that many different methods that are commonly used. I wouldn't call it hard, just that you need to implement it in a good way. Using a table of at what level you access a new method per skill would make it kinda easy, although the server might get an increased load :P Ill gladly help out with structuring it (and maybe programming if needed) if it is wanted ^^ The programming side of it will be really, really easy. What's missing is the xp rates for skills where xp/h is lower at lower levels, like wc, mining and fishing. Xp rates for post-99 training are relatively simple to get in those because you just time a long session and find an average, but at lower levels you can only time so many hours before you level up and need another account at that level again.
  11. You know things are getting weird when Jebrim is the voice of reason. Meredith there's no reason to care about performance here, if Foot did he wouldn't be using Javascript at all. Don't suggest changes just for the sake of suggesting a change.
  12. It's possible the reason you're having trouble finding people to train and quest with is due to the fact there's no reason to do those things together
  13. I'd vote yes, currently there is no high level content to aim for at all
  14. Yep, blackjacking was confirmed by Foot
  15. Foot has told me it's his goal to max first, so yeah he's a contender.
  16. As someone who has trained to 95 strength with 60 attack, don't stay at 60. I had a hard time hitting on anything with a bit of defence, and that was with max gear/extremes/turmoil too. Actually now I think about it, you would want to train your attack but leave it trailing behind strength because an attack level 70-71 would take less xp than a strength level 90-91 or whatever, so you'd gain a dps increase sooner. Yeah don't stay at 60 attack.
  17. Also strength is better for dps than attack so getting 60 attack then 99 strength then 70 attack is probably the best way of levelling, given the fact there is no sara sword
  18. Zarfot never would have caused this drama
  19. doubt it. Will prob be some random noob living in the past. How can a new player be from far back? he said noob not newbie. Noob is short (or a synonym) for newbie :P Use of language evolves. People use noob as an insult, not just to refer to time played.
