This forum is an absolute mess and I feel that its due to the Back Room. Myself and others have posted numerous suggestions for games but with in about an hour they're usually hidden to people posting silly youtube videos in an attempt to remedy the awkward silence. Other forums don't have an off-topic discussion thread and personally I find having a thread for off-topic discussion ridiculous. Off topic discussion should be kept in off-topic, it hinders the production of games and it hinders the activity of the tavern. Although an unpopular opinion its not suitable for the forum, it just results in moronic posts. I second you, Archimage. I would also enjoy having a play by post game. If I get two or three new people for The Crusades I will be moderating that, hopefully that'll be sort of fun.

Icu, I know exactly what I am watching. I think it was episode 1 though and that was awful. People on the Internet say it has some deeper meaning but certainly don't see it and I don't how anybody possibly could it seems another one of those troll things.

Well the bold lines, simple drawings, lack of shading or anymore then six colours on screen at a time make it a bit too much for me. The best childrens show has to be Pat & Stan, very funny, slapstick but not stupid and it is something that I would be happy to have my potential future children watching, things like my little pony are just too over the top and I expect that they would have a negative effect on mental development. Edit: I meant that I don't want my potential future children to watch the show and start acting that way, I know when that when I was younger I copied the matrix and blade but that's okay the difference with the ponies is that they're [developmentally delayed]ed pink horse bimbos and are certainly not the right role models, I would go as far as to say that Barbie is a better rolemodel; most of her things are now geared at her being an independent and intelligent young women.

My little pony is badly animated with bad storytelling and bad characters. Its unimaginative and typical of cartoons aimed at four year old girls. I really dont see what the fuss is.

If there were two of you Mather then I doubt that they would so anything better then you are doing now. There would wimpy be two of you, this means that you wouldn't be pit as dictator, you wouldn't omstanty having funding for research and you wouldn't be able to work on things twice as fast because you'd get in each others way.

I don't need to listen to people who have been here longer than me because the guidelines clearly answer the problem, you also need to read them. The guidelines state that not only is it a game forum it is also an RP forum, the board description states that it is a roleplaying forum. The problem seems to be that you don't like RP's and are choosing to present your opinion of dislike as a fact and then claiming that because you have been here longer than I have you are obviously right. It's like a prison warden who regularly tortures prisoners and claims that because he is older than the guidelines prohibiting it and has been a warden longer the the people who are enforcing the guidelines he is fine to ignore the guidelines.

Mather, what is your actual problem with the RP's? If you are so easily angered by them why don't you just shut up and ignore them? People are joining the RP in question already and I am planning to do so. You're just being a sad buzzkill.
