If a person is prone to violent outbursts you shouldn't just expect the general public to fend for themselves because its obvious that s/he's dangerous, you should take preventive measures before they kill somebody not after they kill somebody and its obvious that they have commited the crime. Thats the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. Now I'm not saying that they should be arrested but refusing treatment and becoming a larger and larger danger to society is just ridiculous. Mather, so you're saying people should be attacked and even killed because taking action against people with mental health could be percieved as degrading?

Sorry Mather, the above quote was made in regard to Leiana telling us to stop The context of my statement was that being suicidal is better then being violent and a danger to society, if you think that it is inhumane for me to think that people who are an innate danger to others and are having violent episodes and in your case condoning it and supporting it with no regret or mercy aren't given help or imprisoned then your idea of society is a broken one. Your society would be quite similar to Mad Max with murder, revenge and death everywhere. The human rights extracts are irrelevent, people who are a danger to society can and will be regularly removed from society. But in response: Prison or hospitilisation is not torture, nor cruel, inhumane or degrading. This supports my point, that people who are a danger to society should not be allowed to wander the streets attacking without provocation or if they wrong the person in any way. This does not apply. This does not apply either, a personality is not classified as a mental disorder and so the prevention of a mental disorder does not constitute not allowing free development of personality.

No, you don't go around assaulting people but you are saying that its both reasonable and better then feeling suicidal. Inflicting injury upon others is bother better and reasonable in your opinion Mather. If anything you're the only person who needs to be put in there place, somebody who discourages somebody from going to the doctor and instead acts as a doctor himself with no qualifications or grasp of anything, somebody who has admitted that violence is reasonable if basically they wrong you in some way and if you are angry in anyway you are morally justified when it comes to attacking and injuring people. May I remind you that I haven't made a statement that is contradiction the Declaration of Human Rights but you however have claimed that assault should be encouraged and are actively discouraging her from going to any doctor.

Leiana thats a stupid reason. Doctors normally will give you an allergy test if you are being put on new medication and will almost certainly give you one if you have any qualms about it, besides most medicine in the form of tablets is hypoallergenic anyway. You're having violent and suicidal episodes and you're refusing treatment which is candidly ridiculous. Mather, it doesn't matter your preference is; assaulting people because you're angry is wrong and it would be much safer if people with mental health issues were suicidal so that they could be controlled and are not a danger to the public. And you're not fixing her at all you need to refer her to a doctor to help instead of playing a doctor, one who openly claims that assaulting people is an improvement from feeling suicidal.

Icuownage, I am not sure as to whether a new set of physics would even be possible in this universe and parallel universes, if our universe was created from the big bang then all other parallel universes would be subject to the same physics however I am also sure that technology or random occurrences could create exceptions. Mather, but all of those things happening is an impossibility so they wouldn't happen in an infinite amount of universes or not. Besides you're arguing about a non-existant subject, something less likely then God existing and even if they did exist they wouldn't even make a difference to our lives. And as violent episodes can be solved by a punch to the wall suicidal episodes can also be solved in a similar way, the difference is that one is potentially a danger to others but one can be controlled. I would disagree, feeling suicidal is not at all better then having violent episodes because Leiana has clearly not commited suicide yet but violent episodes are a clear danger to herself and others. Of course I would need more information to make a full judgement but to me it seems common sense that suicidal episodes are better than violent episodes. In response to the discussion of the parallel universe theory, you need to realise that some things just won't happen For the above to happen The monkey has to has to want to stab Mather in the face, it has to have a reason for doing so. Since there could only have been two parents for Cleopatra (any other parents would mean that it is not Cleopatra, it is another person) then this is another thing that although I am not a biologist woud assume is impossible without a genetic defect in the parents. You should consider starting by making a simpler game, sort of like the originals Zelda's with a gripping story and then when people start enjoying it people will be willing to give you help but you can't just ask for help with nothing there, people on those forums are used to people coming and asking for help making there game and never hearing anything again from the user or about the game. With some moderate scripting skills I'm sure a game like Diablo II isn't out of your reach.

Afterwinds is a multiplayer turn-based goverment simulation game that is played in the browser, I suggest that as hegemony's don't seem to be taking off at the moment we can attempt this as an alternative. Games can be created, players can choose there countrys and do the normal things in a hegemony game: Diplomacy, Warfare and Research (which is upgrades etc.). This thread will mainly be for roleplaying and diplomacy once the game starts, please try and roleplay because its fun. I plan on creating a casual game (one turn every 12 hours) to emulate hegemony best and so people don't have to put too much time and effort into it. If you're up for it you can reserve a country and get going :)

Whats that game you guys posted a while back, its a nation simulator and you can play multiplayer with your friends and set timings (from casual to serious)?

Spork, I might've also seen that game. I have an image of the game, Spork. Is this what you're talking about? The game is basically played like this: OP asks the thread followers what action the tribe should make, majority wins and actions are taken to explore and gather valuable resources.

Does this mean everybodys maps are going to be [bleep]ed up?

Team Fortress 2 is a good FPS. As Spork said before, it's a little casual, but it's incredibly fun. I've actually already got TF2, I also have tremenulous, sauerbraten, assault cube. Tf2 is a great game, thanks :) I would like to extend my request to a blanket request of all good mac games.
