Hey, I've been working on the game and I've hit a bit of snag: Research. At first I thought I could just use the same system that Albert used in his game but this conflicts with another system that I wanted to implement. I want to be able to be able to have consistent prices for researching technology but if they have some surplus money they can decrease the time while increasing the cost, if they have not enough money but are willing to spend some time researching then the cost would go down but the time would go up. I think the best system is 1 year = percentage of net profit. Can somebody work out this system for me.

Yes it is something with layers, switch to the layer which the image is on and then try to move it, remember to press 'Command' (US) or 'CTRL' (UK). Don't switch to anything else, perisist with professional package you have at the moment and eventually you'll get good at it. Don't switch to something mediocre like Paint.net or GIMP because its easier.

I just don't like making enemys, I nearly made a permenant one a bit ago. Also IRC doesn't work for me at present, so I can't participate in IRC dungeoneering like I wanted to.

It isn't that, its just that I've seen quite a few idea's around here and they've been discussed but the Idea's would take ages to sift through again. I plan on simply creating a thread where you can put idea's, you can talk about them in the back room but I would really find it useful to have a library of idea's somewhere.

Would I be permitted to make a 'suggestions' thread, I have noticed some dead ones and think it would be nice to create a new and more productive one with a set of rules meant to keep it floating. I also hope to make it easier to sift through.

Regardless of his IQ you can still determine that Mather is extremely intelligent simply by talking over an internet forum, I would agree with that IQ score. Navi posted something about drawing, I'm not very good at drawing people and don't know what the people of the tavern actually look like so I'll be taking SFW drawing requests from now on.
