  1. Nostalgia failed then and it will fail now. That doesn't even make sense.
  2. RSC is a horrible thing to compare this to.
  3. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CkJqJh9h5nM It's all clear now.
  4. I doubt Jagex has the attack level required to wield a hammer large enough to fix what's wrong with the EoC.
  5. Old revision private servers (317s, 474s) have ALWAYS been the most popular, since private servers became a thing. Many people have been asking/wanting this kind of thing for a long time, not sure where you're getting the "nobody wants 07scape" idea but you're quite mistaken. EDIT: What I meant by boosted XP and shortcuts is everyone seems to think private servers are "Oh, you start at max combat and play with any gear you want!" and that's only true for a handful of these servers.
  6. The number of players on era-specific private servers without boosted XP rates and other shortcuts shows how many players actually want "retro" servers.
  7. I wouldn't be surprised if 2007>EOC in player count, legit players that is.
  8. A couple arguments I've seen come up don't really seem to hold much merit "People would lose interest and the servers would die off" The current "06scape" if you will, has over 80k registered members since November, and the last I checked had 1k+ people on even at the slowest of hours. Sure, that's only 1k people, but this is also a private server with a single world, missing 80% of content with poor hosting. If a private server with limited advertising and limited potential players could do so well, don't you think the RuneScape edition could be massive? I also see people saying the economy will be poor to start and it will be months before there is an established demand for resources. Again, the current 2006 remake private server had a decent economy running in a month or so, you underestimate the time people put in to games, it won't take long for the economy to start thriving. ..and on the topic of voting, I won't because I firmly believe Jagex has already decided if the servers are coming or not, and this is just another pathetic attempt at gaining a bit more money. Will be playing if they do return though, no doubt.
  9. It should've been any account that has had p2p at any point should have a vote. I guess that's bad for the wallet though. Typical Jagex.
  10. Private server player counts show otherwise. Anyway, with it being a member only vote I'd imagine this just being a quick cash grab. Hey, you never know, maybe 750k people will re-sub to vote!
  11. Remove it from rush completely, and in conquest make the amount of spawns directly tied to the number of starting tickets.
  12. Loving Tank superiority, don't like that people run around with jav out during, but other than that it's nice.
  13. Yeah rush on these maps is a joke. Doesn't bother me too much as they are best played as 64 man CQ, still a bit annoying how they did that though.

I found your problem. Edit: those specs aren't even close to being correct.

    Battlefield realistic? huehuehuehue
  16. Sniping on rush in general is bad. (By sniping, I mean a bolt action), defending or attacking. I mean, say you're on Op Firestorm or another horrible designed and you have the attackers stuck in their deployment you could pull a bolt out to pass the time, but in a rush match where's there actually opposition it's a bad tactic and will almost always hurt the team more than help.
  17. In general the snipers on PC are very bad, it's not rare to be in games where the snipers go ~0 kills 500 points and never leave the deployment. This is on any game mode any map. Now I know sniping as a rush attacker is obviously the best and most tactical way of play, but it really does ruin the experience.

There was lots of things broken other than just attachments which made him stop playing.
  19. So... the recon class shouldn't have... sniper rifles. Makes sense. Granted, I do miss BFBC2's style of sniping (one hit kill, no matter the range) with bolt-actions. Glad you understand. Also, what.
  20. The recon kit shouldn't even get bolt-actions to start with, leads to undesirable results.

Battlefield by a mile. There's more to do, the gameplay is better. Don't get me wrong, I will sit and play Cod4 for hours, but since 4 each release has been the same game, reskinned with more annoying shit added, terrible franchise these days.

It's been said countless times so far, but the cost is not nearly as high as people make it out to be, and the annual upgrades are just a straight up lie lol

The console gaming community is full of prepubescent inbreds. (Which had sexual intercourse with my mother, and possibly sister/father/dog/kitchen table, last night.) I'll stick with PC for obvious reasons. EDIT: They also defecate on my chest.

There isn't even an argument going on anymore, everything OP has said has been corrected and now he's just trolling I'd just stop if you don't want a troll war
