  1. Let's say you buy coal, you put in a offer for +10% and note down what it buys at let's just say it buys at 200gp, Then you sell the coal you just brought for -10% and not down the sell price, let's say 193 (I know they may or may not be the actually prices,I'm just making it simple to understand) You brought the coal for:200---------that will be your selling price. And you sold it for:193----------------that will be your buying price So now you start the flip, You start of with a small buy amount, let's say you buy 5k coal for 193(you can buy 1gp over to get them faster) you wait a couple of mins and they all buy, then you sell them for 200gp(you can sell them 1gp under to make them sell faster) Then if that works, you should buy the max limit for buying coal of the ge,witch is 25k(like with all ores) buy and 193-194gp wait a couple of mins and once they buy sell them for 200gp and then u make profit and repeat. I only wrote this of the top of my head, there is alot more to know about flip merching, you should read some guides/look at some videos.but the more you practise flip merching the better you will get,as I said there's alot more to know. And don't use the example I used,it was only a example to show you what the basics are. Also, when you are picking a item it is best to pick a stable item, you can tell if the yellow line and blue line(average) on the 30 day graph are not all over the place,If you get what I mean?? Hope this helps you to understand the basics of flip merching ;) (remember to look at some guides/videos) ;)
  2. If you are using fire strike or any spell you gain magic xp for casting the spell,if you hit 0 you will still get magic xp. So wkw437 you are wrong when you said quote "you only get xp for what damage you do"

  4. If you stay f2p you might want to try to learn flip merching because you won't get a lvl 99 in f2p with 2.4mill. When you do decide to go for 99 cooking in f2p I would suggest you do it at the ge and light yr own fires/buy your fish,if you go for 99 cooking you will get alot of random events, I would(did) use them on xp lamps/book and use them on prayer you will get a decent prayer lvl.I know this works as I did it for my 99 cooking(f2p) :) (my tip.it name isn't the same as my rsn) If you still don't have alot of money at this time, and you want to get magic up you can either superheat, this will make little profit/break even/make a small profit. Or you can do high alc and find a good item that u can make some profit out there (there are items that you can make profit by high alching on f2p) Hope this help you :)
  5. Water (water is nat) has 199,999,999 str xp!! Early gratz to him :)
  6. But what much is there to say than: 1)get good anti spyware/anti virus software 2)if you go on any runescape related websites, don't download anything from them. 3)get a bank pin 4)run weakly ant-virus scams 5)register recovery questions 6)don't fall for those fake jegex emails, That's what I think will help you not to get your rs account hacked.
  7. Yes flipping is a great way of making money,to get started, try going to the runescape ge database and look on most traded items, there you should find some good items to flip. You could try gOp and join a 50/50 clan(a good 50/50 clan is GOP addict for f2p and GOP addict2 for p2p)save all yr tokens and buy water talismans.
  8. @xenolith Did you know that you can buy 25,000 coal(that is the max buy limit for all ores),making your profit from 30k-75k per flip, but all in all, it's a nice beginners guide to flip merching.
  9. Maybe not a keylogger, but what about a program that takes a screenshot each time a mouse button is pressed? ? That sounds pretty insane Your computer would have to a.) Take a screenshot on every single button you press/type b.) Send it to a remote source It sounds pretty interesting, but it probably wouldn't work. Other then the insane lagging you'll get every time you click, the screenshot would have to be the very instant you click something - and if it lags even a little, you'll get a picture of the flashing bank numbers. On top of that, the people who created this program would have to sort through all the pictures to piece together your pin. Sounds a little farfetched to be honest. It works. Remember, picture quality can easily be resized, and quality lowered, you can easily get the keylogger to start taking pictures after the victim runs a specific software based on a wildcard like "runescape*" or writes the phrase "runescape". edit: In case you wondered, i mean that the program can easily take many low quality pictures over, lets say 6 minutes from when a given phrase has been typed. Then take 4-6 pictures everysecond, and slowly upload them to a ftp server, then make a movie out of it. Troll. Tell me how I am trolling?I am giving advice on how not to get hacked just like all the other people of this topic, I said to get a bank pin, that would have stopped the hacker being able to get into his bank. I also said to get good anti spyware. So tell me how was my post trolling??
  10. Should have got norton security, then you proberlly wouldn't have got hacked,it's your own fault, like people have already said you don't just get hacked, you have done something to get hacked, but having a bank pin is a must!!!!!!!!! I don't think a key logger can log this cuz you haven't typed it.
  11. What are the chances of being hacked by a keylogger?
  12. I completely disagree. The rapier is not a waste of tokens. It speeds up training, and at a cost of like 100k + a few tokens? That is well worth it in my opinion, especially when you can easily make 3m a day flip merchanting or 350k gp/hour Gop'ing. With 0% charged 1,000,000 coins or 100,000 coins and 10,000 tokens to repair. I wouldn't call 10k tokens a few tokens, Gravite rapier combat bonuses: Attack bonus: Stab= +50 slash= +9 crush= -3 Range= 0 magic= 0 Defence bonus: Stab= 0 Slash= +1 Crush= 0 Range= 0 magic= 0 Damage absorption: Mele=0% Range=0% magic=0% Other bonus: Str=+48 Range=0 prayer=0 magic=0% Rune scimitar combat bonuses: Attack bonus: Stab= +7 slash= +45 crush= -2 Range= 0 magic= 0 Defence bonus: Stab= 0 Slash= +1 Crush= 0 Range= 0 magic= 0 Damage absorption: Mele=0% Range=0% magic=0% Other bonus: Str=+44 Range=0 prayer=0 magic=0% So IMO I would rather spend no tokens on the gravite rapier,because they both have similar stats and it is a wast of money and tokens to repair plus the time taken to get 100k dung xp to get it repaired.
  13. I have read some of them and they are not always the best of guides.
  14. What would you train range on at lvl 68 range, and what would the xp/hour be?
  15. Does anyone think this is a achievable goal? Discuss.
  16. I'm really not the one to ask, because I actually do all the skilling in the dungeons for that account. Oh,thx anyway. Does anyone know the xp/per hour for dung with about 60 dung?
  17. How about you just report the botters?have you tried that? That way jegex can kill them,by banning them:)
  18. @sirlzenhime What is you dung xp/per hour and how long does each dungeon take to complete at lvl 70 dung? I'm thinking of getting my dung to 70. : )
  19. With alching you can just place your item under the high alc button and just keep on clicking, you don't even have to look at the screane. But I prefer superheating because you can get the materials alot faster and you can make a profit or lose very little, but I do know that u can buy alc items that can get u money,I know one item that could get 800gp profit per alc in f2p,
  20. Most top players just play for a very long time each day, drumgun played 18+hours a day for 3 years+,he also cashed in alot of zeal, that's how he got 46 m str xp in one day in like a couple of mins, then I gues he done a all nighter on summoning to get the #1 most xp in a day/weak/month (drumgun plays that much cuz he has a medical condition that can't be treated or that's what I been told,so he's in hospital, what else would u do stuck in hospital?)
  21. Power mining you can get around 35k-40k xp/hour at dwarf mines, but you could get around 30k xp/per hour with banking your ores in deposit box in the resource dungeon, plus the cash for the ores, but for the long run it is better to do the power mining.
