RuneScape Information

  1. Happy birthday :D

  2. He must be jealous of them because they're higher level than he is. --- As for the main post: Bot are everywhere, yes. But really, if anything, they are no more than just accounts walking around. They affect the human player directly in no way whatsoever and actually, the barrage of selling items means reduced prices on everyday training gear. And, they give Jagex revenue, because most of the bots are, in fact, paid accounts. If they banned the bots, they'd lose as much as they did, or even more, during the Pay2PK riot. So, really, just play the game, and ignore the bots. They are a part of Runescape, always have been (I think) and always will be.
  3. Well... That was an interesting video. Just proves how nerd these kids are, botting all day, then they say that non-botters have no lives. And, if you REALLY want to see lots of bots, close the door to Arbury's rune shop.
  4. So they ban you for not being able to kill something before it kills you? That would just cause lots of people to carry food around all scared-like.
  5. Small correction of a not major error. :-D And now I get as on topic as I possibly can, though there's not much more to say. But, anyways, another random would just be way too much. An event like this would likely cause lots of shouting on the Rants section of the RSOF, because apparently it would come up every hour, which would get in the way of things like Large dungeon raids and big bosses like the ones in the GWD.
  6. Apparently you haven't seen my previous post. Or are we misreading what you said? I got told off for saying that, and I apologize for not having even HEARD OF RUNESCAPE before Free Trade was taken away the first time. (Really wasn't a big topic where I lived at the time) And, eh, at one of the previous posts, I do say that I could not have read up on this issue because by the time I actually joined Runescape they just took the information off the web, so there is no possible way I could have "read about it"
  7. Construction cape could give, when operated, all tools for construction (nails sold separately). It could also give a little boost that reduces the cost of repairing Barrows armor (by just a little bit, so its not completely and advantage) at the armor... thing... (sorry, haven't been a member for some time. Forgot what the repairing bench is called) Thieving cape - increase chances of successfully pickpocketing from an NPC.
  8. Apparently you haven't seen my previous post.
  9. Small XP bonus for lighting a fire? But then they go out uh... a half second later.
  10. I like that suggestion. The new LP Boost armor could have a slight change to its look, so you can see the difference of it.
  11. This idea is actually pretty nice. I'm getting tired of people saying "It's a nice day out today isn't it?" Although it wouldn't otherwise do much it actually adds a more real-world type of feel. Night could also show an increase in Shooting Star sightings.
  12. Well excuse me for not joining Runescape before FT was removed the first time.
  13. Uh, that was due to the outrageous amounts of scamming with higher priced items. Bots had nothing to do with it. Or, not a large part at least. ____ Oh, hi, I'm new here. hi they did not take away free trade because of either scamming or expensive items they took away free trade to attempt to kill off bots because bots were using stolen credit cards, costing jagex money bots stopped using stolen credit cards, and continued on botting and paying $5 a month Well that was awkward. Agreed with VoidRealm
