Yes.. but tanking is much more complicated. Pallies are immaculate single-target healers making them irreplacable in 10 man raids (Karazan, Zul 'Aman) and still very wanted in 25 man raids.

In regard to the question on factions, don't listen to the community. If you do, you'll think that all female human and/or blood elf warlocks are fat guys in their parents basements, all hunters are 10 years old, all rogues are loudmouthed smartasses, all.. you get the idea. There's absolutely nothing wrong with being a human pally. I knew lots of them and they were normal people who could play reasonably well.

Did these servers have a substantially larger number than 20 people online at a time? Average of 200, capped at 500.

I've played several private servers, they aren't bad. One of the only problems is that events aren't scripted, so for boss fights they don't have different phases or anything - it's all just tank and spank.

Fifa 08
The new FIFA game is completely different to any of the other games. It's much more difficult, ie; you can't just run at the defence and score every time like you could in 07. They learn your tactics, they adjust to your moves and passing style. It still might not be as good in gameplay as PES, but it's a damn sight better than any other FIFA game. The be-a-pro mode is awesome too.

Not saying they are an easy class to play, but Mages are extremely powerful and it wouldn't be too difficult to be "above average". Having said that, you're always needed, especially in 10+ man content.

I'm actually quite keen to come back. The Warlock I rolled just before my subscription ran out was beginning to get fun (at level 20). I've been playing a private server a little but it's just not the same, and buggy as hell. I had 12 days Res sickness at one stage, before a GM helped me out.

Quick, go and play RuneScape then.. I'm sure the community is much better. Honestly, every MMO I've ever been on has "stuck up selfish rude brats" on it - it's just that some have less than others.

Did anyone get the Phoenix? I've used that thing on a private server; wow, it's amazing. Anyways it seems you are the most progressed on this thread at the moment, well done. ;)

After I format, I'm gonna get a copy of Bioshock, and play that until Spore is released. I'm over WoW, I am pretty sure.

One of my guildmates is the best ret pally I've ever seen. I've BG'd with him and some world pvp, and it's amazing how many times you think he will die but he never does. This is the guy who chased a warlock we were fighting at the Hellfire Peninsula pvp back to Thrallmar, chased it inside the walls and killed it, then managed to escape the guards.

I've been wondering about that. In my mind, it's best to do all the pre-60 quests of Azeroth, in order to save as many quests as possible in Hellfire for leveling beyond 60 - because in Outland most of your leveling will be done by emptying zone after zone of quests. Since the only characters I've ever entered outland with were all level 60 well before the expansion, I don't actually know if that's true or not. And I recently started an alt to play when I don't have the time to log on to my main. It's only lvl 9, and it won't hit 60 for a long, long, long time but it renewed my interest in the idea behind staying in Azeroth for as long as possible. Any thoughts now that you're in that leveling frame? Do it, and try to save as many of the "last in the chain" quests (or even the last few) for after 70, because of the money rewards. A friend of mine recently got a second shammy to 70 (he rerolled a shammy so he could have one dps and one healy, lol) and used this method, and he was on a flying mount within a day because of it.

Yeah, when else are you going to find 25+ leechers in each side. Man, I really want the anti-leech patch -_- Rofl. We faced a Blackrock premade earlier and there was about 30 alliance AFKers.

Lightning leaves the building
Maria, It saddens me deeply to see you go out like this, but I trust you know in your heart how to make it right. You're someone I will always admire and respect, and like I told you when I stepped down from the team, I base my admiration and respect on your character, not by what you did on the game. You will not be forgotten in a hurry. Leon

Is Tip.it harder to quit than Runescape itself?
The truth is, I can't stand to play the game. There is just so much to keep me away. But yes, I do still read the forums.
