Granted, whenever you drive the road is perfectly smooth but the rest of your life is hectic. I wish everyone I meet becomes my friend.

Opening them was the hardest part for me too. I was worried my knife either wouldn't cut it (which is what happened) or it would completely destroy the egg. One of my eggs was already cracked (I didn't know it'd sink so fast when I dropped it in boiling water >.>) so I just cut along the crack and it opened okay (although both eggs were plenty soft and oozy). The uncracked egg I just tapped with the knife and cut along the crack I made.

Then I agree with Meredith, you should just go sig-less or make a better one with photoshop or something. The art forum people here on tif could help you if you post it there by giving constructive criticism. My criticism's are that you should download some free fonts that don't look so generic, and you should arrange it so it doesn't look like you took pictures from your character in runescape and splice them together in 10 seconds in Paint and add text at the bottom in 5. I won't worry about this too much. I'm taking a graphic design course on Adobe photoshop/illustrator so I'll be able to make a decent one soon enough.

I made 2 soft-cooked eggs. It was kind of a mess (took like 15 mins to clean up :rolleyes:) but they tasted good. Extremely hard to eat. I felt like I accomplished something.

You must've been new in 06 if thats what you think. 99's had a level of respect in old runescape because it was pointless to get them. It was a bit like going for 200m xp in a skill. After skill capes it became a "requirement" to get 2+ 99's and the rarer the better. Its funny you mention skillcapes being what made 99's great in 06. All the old players then were saying "skillcapes killed runescape, blablabla RS is dying, Jagex has to do what they can to keep people playing, etc." Its funny its practically runescape culture to think that things were amazing when you started and suck once you reach a decent level of experience in the game. :lol: As they say on 4chan "/b/ always sucked" and so did runescape. I've been playing since just after RS2 came out (so some time in 2004). I didn't say skillcapes were what made 99's great, I'm just saying they were more respected than they are now. I remember before skillcapes people would always lie about their skills and the only way to check was to look them up on the highscores which most people didn't care enough to do. Skillcapes just proved that you had a 99. I don't see how they "killed runescape".

I was going to draw the Last Supper but then I remembered I'm easily discouraged. When I saw how much I had to draw, even though I could do it as worse as I wanted, I couldn't do it. I can't keep at something for as long as I'd like to sometimes because I get discouraged.

That's all great advice, but part of my problem is the motivation to do anything. I feel like whatever I do is never good enough and therefore not worth doing and it leaves me feeling bored and bad about myself.

People save up effigies and do penguins and things like that as often as possible. I can say that I have at least a couple million xp banked in effigies and enough dragonkin lamps to get me 97-99 slayer. In my opinion, that's significantly easier.

orly? because I'm pretty sure almost everyone in this whole thead will agree with you. I only read the first couple of posts so I don't know what people have been having so far. Too many people enjoy other's suffering.

In Flames - Jotun

For someone who doesn't like most movies and therefore hasn't seen that many, what would you guys recommend? Just movies that you have to see at some time in your life. If they're on Netflix so I can watch them easily, 10 kudos for you.

I miss the days back in like 2006 when most all skillcapes were respected (even cooking had the slightest respect) and there were no methods of "free" xp. All xp you earned was from doing the skill itself. But as Runescape is dying, Jagex has to do what they can to keep people playing, so it that means faster xp, that's what they're going to do.

Watch some youtube videos (or better yet click on the video along with the person to get the hang of it) and you'll learn. If you can pray flash or ss flash it's a lot like that. You just have to time it right.
