  1. On the bright side, until Jagex fixes the highscores, SUOMI's page is now a really easy way to find out how many p2p maxed accounts there are. At the moment, 1966.
  2. You can if you have 18 million potatoes. There aren't many people who can do a 100+ apm method for more than a few hours, let alone 3k. So, no, I don't think potatoes are the limiting factor. Your point is well taken. However, I wouldn't be so sure potatoes aren't a limiting factor too. It would cost about 2B at current prices, but most importantly, I don't think there are 18M potatoes sitting in the GE waiting to be bought. If you remember years back to when the Order of the Cabbage was around, they never ended up getting more than I think 4M cabbages. If you think you can find a way to get 18M potatoes, well, I'd love to see a screenshot of that.

  4. I can easly make this if you guys give me stats of both players at that time. I will use the 100k slayer xp/effigy ratio and the 77750? melee xp after slayer per effigy. You'll probably have to input these manually, but you can find Zarfot's stats at that time here and SUOMI's here. Just look in the left hand column for both.
  5. Zarfot would have caught him in hours left. At the pace with which Zafort was going though slayer (If someone wants to look up Suomi's slayer gains and Zarfot's and then call me out saying "Suomi was going like 45% faster than Zarfot" Keep in mind that Zarfot was using his effigies on Runecrafting). He would have benefited much more than Suomi in hours saved by effigies since he had all effigy combos open with the slower skill open as well. This isn't really an advantage in itself since that means that Suomi had these slower skills already done, but Zarfot would have been done with slayer and all combat before the effigy nerf so he could have exploited crawlers to their fullest extent. He also quit with a 36m base, that means that would have had like a 80m base by the time he was done with crawlers. I am confident Zarfot would have caught Suomi in hours left to 200m by now. I would like to say that it would be close though. We would be having a battle right now for the last 1b xp. You're definitely overestimating Zarfot. Suomi's slaying rate wasn't 45% faster, it was 200% faster. His rate on just about every other skill is faster than Zarfot's as well. My point being that whatever advantages Zarfot may have had, he simply didn't play enough to ever overtake Suomi. There's an easy way to answer this. Use a time calc on Zarfot and SUOMI on the stats they had on November 28, 2010 (Zarfot's last active day). I don't have a time calc or I'd do it myself, but I feel like it has to come down in SUOMI's favor by a lot. Zarfot's 200Ms were ALL fast buyables, without exception, while SUOMI had mining, fishing, and agility, amongst others. Those have to severely outweigh a couple buyables already done. Edit: And if you're admitting that Zarfot was behind on time left, but would catch up, I say, not likely. Zarfot played efficiently, but nowhere near the hours SUOMI logs. There's just no way he'd make any relative gains.
  6. I've been away for a while and am trying to get some gp. Are frost dragons still good money, or are they overrun? I'm just a few days shy of 85 dung, so I'm hoping they're still worth doing. My other question is what the ideal ranged setup is. Yes, I know, meleeing may be more efficient, but I want to get them with ranged. The guide here suggests using a handcannon, but I think that was made before the release of dragonbane bolts. What's better, a handcannon or dragonbane bolts with a rune crossbow?
  7. Does anyone know what Jake's doing for farming? SUOMI's getting about 6.5M xp/month, while Jake's gotten about 9M xp in the last month. I ask because at his current rate, farming could end up being SUOMI's last 200M and it could maybe be sped up a bit without requiring any major changes to his play.
  8. Why is he even mentioned in this thread lmfao. People were talking about him a couple of weeks ago, wether he could get all his skills to 200m or if it is his goal. Now he pretty much confirmed that he is going to get 200m in all skills. Yes, because people always mean what they say and never make empty boasts, and because saying that he thinks he's capable means he's definitely going to commit the next several years of his life to it. If we were supposed to talk in this thread only about people who are 100%:ly going to achieve 5b xp, then there wouldn't be much discussion in here. And, I'm not saying that I believe that he will achieve 5b xp. That's reasonable enough. But now you're saying something quite different from what you just said.

  10. Well Summoning should be 0 time, but I think he used effigys for like 30m+ slayer xp or more. Then his left over attack xp he should be killing something that drops charms unless he has 200m banked now. Depending on how you play though Summoning should be 0 time at least. It takes a lot more time to get 200M attack at something that drops charms than it would to get 200M at Ape Atoll. You can't discard this large amount of time spent gathering charms.
  11. Does this end up being faster than ZMI using the new massive pouch? You can now carry significantly more essence, so even if this is faster than ZMI was, ZMI may be fastest again after you acquire a massive pouch.
  12. SUOMI is finally starting to lose some ground to Jake, at least in terms of total xp.
  13. I can confirm, the math is correct. Bonus xp weekend means he doesn't actually need 51M xp worth of charms, but the conclusion is still more or less the same. Unless SUOMI finishes attack at waterfiends, he will be a significant amount of summoning xp short of 200M. Granted, going to rock lobs for a few weeks wouldn't be the end of the world... but the world would see SUOMI gaining no xp, freak out, and think he died.
  14. I think his recent change in xp gains is comment enough.
  15. He was killing skeletal monkeys. It seems like he recently switched to something else, but I'm not sure what. He's getting some effigies now, and I imagine a lot of charms too, neither of which you can get from skeletal monkeys. He'll probably let us know soon enough, but my guess would be either waterfiends or black demons.
  16. And that right there is the price of efficiency. :P. What, it's somehow more efficient to spend more money AND more time? If these numbers are accurate (and I can find no reason to fault them), SUOMI should indeed get the rest of his charms at waterfiends and then finish whatever attack is left on skeletons. It's more efficient, and it has to be far more satisfying than spending weeks barraging rock lobs when he's already 200M mage and hp.
  17. Yes, I am also curious to know. With 60M summoning xp to go, it seems you'll likely need at least all your remaining attack xp to get the rest of your charms.
  18. SUOMI snagged the record for weekly attack xp (behind the guy who cashed in 187M Soul Wars xp, of course).
  19. Very much agreed, especially since he never changed it before. I was more struck by the fact that it's a one way change. Jagex doesn't allow more than one consecutive space anymore, so he'll never be able to go back to S U O M I.
  20. I'm not sure if the link is implying that he didn't quit, or asking if those gains suggest that he did, but regardless, he has said that he has quit. Admittedly, the gains are small, but there are gains. He clearly hasn't quit just yet.
  21. Sounds to me like a small strength experience lab from the SoF (oddly I got one of those as well today so thats what came to mind). So he logged in for a minute to do that it seems. I think it could be troll invasion, if he saved the reward book. From the SoF thread: Dapledo gained 8603 strength xp. It seems almost certain that he just logged in and got a lamp. I'm not quite sure where you got Troll Invasion from.
  22. Non-applicable? Are you saying there's a difference between what happened to the OP and what wold have happened had he fairly lost a duel beforehand?
  23. Suppose the OP and the glitcher staked twice. They have equal stats and we would expect them to split stakes evenly. The first time, the glitcher beat him fair and square, without abusing any glitch, and won 150M. In the rematch, the OP is doing much better, and is about to win the 150M back when the glitcher force exits the duel. What should have been a 1-1 match becomes a 1-0 match, and the glitcher is up 150M. The glitcher has unfairly gained 150M from the OP, but where did he get it? When he fairly won the first duel? No. That was a risk the OP took, and he was prepared to lose it. Rather, the the loss came when the glitcher prevented him from winning his money back. You can argue the semantics here all you want... but this was undeniably a real loss.
  24. Do you want to stick with combat? It might be worth it to do some non-combat related skill like woodcutting, hunter, or thieving, until more information is out about the new effigy rates, and only then to finish 200M attack.
