well this is what im going to do. Go with my original outfit, and try it out for a trip or 2. If that doesnt work, then ill just get the verac stuff. i still need to try a trip or 2 to know how it is it, where the safepots are, and what i need to change etc.

im debating to get rangers and archers ring because if i buy it, i KNOW for a fact that im going to keep either both of them or one of them. And i need the money for full guthans..but i dunno, maybe i should get veracs helm and skirt..

Well this will all start out with a little, funny story It all started when my friend xxru1n3dxx told me he was going for a cape. I was like man, i really gotta get one now. So months and months passed by and i never really "payed" attention to the fire cape until yesterday. I was woodcutting for my 7.5k yew longs ( god this is taking forever, bout 3.5k more to go..) and i met a guy who was talking bout fire caves. So im talking to him, give him a few tips, and then i ask him a question. ME: How do you get all the money back after you die? Guy: its not that hard, i just get pots, and go back for another trip. Me: What about the armor, you have tons of money for that?! Guy: lol you DONT lose anything, its a minigame Me: omg, i thought you lose items, that is WHAT was holding me back, losing my armor Guy: lol So after that brief conversation, i finally have the GUTS :lol: to attempt for a firecape! I have all the pots for 1 or 2 trips, but 2 trips wont be needed cause im gonna do it 1st try right? :lol: Im probally gonna attempt it mondayish.. today is just like bleh day. Not really in the mood, not focused... Ok, so after tons of money spent, i bought karils top, and veracs helm and skirt.. cost me a bit.. buts its all worth it for a cape \ ill edit this later, kinda busy day 2I go into fight caves thinking i can get a cape today. I get up to wave 58 or 59 first try. I die cause i had no more brews.. and the dam lv 90 kept hitting me hard for some reason.. so now im gonna cool off and do some slayer .. mite get a range lv and prayer lv.. mite get a few of them before i go back and face jad... but overall it was easy.. i just need to rearrange my inventory... here are my stats, hopefully there good enough

the first few pages of bank were WELL organized. And ive ALWAYS watned to have that 4 lines of armor. Bronze-rune, maybe dragon and even barrows lol. It would look so 1337! aynway nice bank, and best of luck with your goal

I love the Barrows, I've made well over 30mil off of it, but it's honestly just way too easy (which is one of the reason prices have fallen through the basement). I mean, I'm a meager lvl 96 with 75 Defense, and I don't have to pray on Verac, Torag, Guthan, or Ahrim. And you know what else? On a lucky trip or two I havn't taken a single bite out of my food while fighting all four of those with no prayer. Now that's just pitiful if you ask me. im lv 100 combat with 80 defense, and i dont pray on torag or guthans, and ahrims when hes like low health. Veracs i have to no matter what, and i use all my foood in the tunnels. And i dont see how you can not prayer on veracs lol i get hit HARD when i fight him.. either that, or your VERY lucky :-k :notalk:

so what you are saying is use the new water ocean one ( i cant remeber what is was called) on jad and it will do alot of damage on him?

I hope so. I've always had the thought of getting a fire cape at the back of my mind recently. I just need to make a couple of mils so i can afford to do caves without selling my guthans or whip Uhh how aobut using the guthans instead of selling it? i dont know theres somthing not right about using it in fight caves, maybe hes unaffected by it? doubt they would make him harder just imune to that attack. :thumbsup: hopefully they will make it immune, cause then this wont affect me haha \

actually, that was...16 words :lol: , but killing jad with steel arrows isnt a good idea. Ive always wanted one, but now i think i mite actually get it. I have a few mil to spent, so i mite get all the equipment i need to kill it asap. Id rather try and hopefully get a firecape when i know i have a chance of killing him, rather than jagex making him stronger maybe in the future ( thats what i think is going to happen)

NOTE: EVERYONE IS SAYING TO USE SEA CURSE ON JAD, CAUSE HE IS FIRE, AND IT WOULD DO ALOT OF DAMAGE, CAN ANYONE CONFIRM THIS? now that rangers have new equipments... kinda like the new dragon bolt where you can hit like a dragon unless jad has a anti fire shield ( haha like he really does), you could kill him a bit faster and easier. NOTE: I THINK THATS WHAT THE NEW DRAGON BOLT DOES LOL I READ IT FAST so do you think jagex will make jad a bit harder? is it time to get your fire capes now? life

I'm intrested too, as i'm already in my head with debts there is no way I can switch from cbows but I'd hate for it to be easier now that i'm getting mine tonight (hopefully?) its already easy. :shame: this will just make firecapes super common, instead of one in few. I wasn't interested in that, I just want to know if this would grant new and perhaps easier tactics for beating Jad. I'm not a specialist, so I was wondering if someone had thoughts about this. then again, they mite make jad a little harder now with the bows? oh god, time to get my cape soon :ohnoes:

true, construction ISNT a moneymaker, but more like a "helped" in the game. and if you either (1) dont have the money for it (2) just think its useless, use tear of guthix like i do lol :lol:

i havent quite 'experienced" this yet, but when i get back to slayer ( god knows when lol) im gonna do the new quest and see how things go. if i dont like it , back to good ol magic ftw \
