I felt like trying them out when they came out (pray urns). Could stay at lessers for almost a whole day before a full inv of pray urns was done. Definitely not great pray xp, though. Got bored and dropped a bunch of urns I had in the end too. I was planning on doing some fish/wc after 98 def, so I'll have to try out those urns. Speaking of pray, Bbones have dropped a bunch since free trade. Probably gonna have to buy 80 pray soon since it won't do too much damage to my bank now. :thumbup: And speaking of bank, I wish I would've invested in disks when they were 150-200m (instead of masks). I'd be able to afford a red phat, 99 pray and still have money leftover #-o

Urns are really worth using? I was using pray urns while ranging lessers for a bit, but I got bored of it. Does the extra urn xp make up for the time banking? Haven't done very much skilling since urns. I do recall getting 55-65k wc/h without them tho, so if water says 70-80k they must be better?

I miss the good ol' days whenever rune two-handers were the Marlon Brando's of weaponry. Pking in full black, amulet of strength, and rune 2h - great times. Anyways, does that mean that I am correct about fire runes being the best RC method? How much exp an hour is that? Also, how long would 200M dungeoneering take? Body runes are higher base xp than fires. Earths w/ gloves from FoG give the highest xp per ess. Of course, then you have to factor in the time taken getting the gloves. Without gloves, it's still hard to say which rune is the fastest xp if you're walking/running to the altars because you have to consider distance from the bank. It's also possible that teletabs from GoP could give faster overall xp than walking; I don't feel like doing the calculations to see if the time spent getting gloves/tabs is more efficient than just running. One thing I do know though, I can hardly stand rcing with teletabs. Running ess for 200m xp would be such a drag. Also, bonecrusher has never been f2p.

Do f2pers have 3rd binds? If they do, gaunts are also an offensive bind & like you said dromoleather body is also offensive if you have a bow as your 2nd. Yes, at 100. Gaunts/boots have low enough str bonus where they're not worth binding for me. Having your max hit raised by 6 lp doesn't make a considerable enough difference considering how often you max (not often). Dromo body would only be ideal if range is your primary attack style, which I'd say is a small amount of players.

With range that low it might not be worth it to have range bound, so yeah, plate. Also, in my last post I was thinking more of people who have higher offensive skills and fairly even range and melee. Now that I think about it, that probably doesn't apply to majority of people. Oh well. If you have low stats you can always train.

I have longbow+arrows as my second bind/ammo. I have switched to a shortbow for awhile at 90 range. Since most of my ranging is reserved for bosses, I ended up switching back to long pretty soon after. The extra accuracy outweighs the speed against high level monsters/bosses. I got most of my current dg lvl (93) with 45-49 def and it was a pretty easy choice for me to not bind a plate over range. Extra offense, even if relatively rarely used, is more useful for me. I was dging on another acc with around 70 str and range. First bind was a 2h and it was supremely annoying for me to not have my spine bow for certain bosses. I had to go out and train range up a few levels so the starting table would give me bow+arrows until I got up to a 2nd bind on there. I'll argue against plate as a 2nd bind, but I'll also say plate as a 3rd bind is probably the best for almost anyone. F2p doesn't have the extra offensive binds like blood necks and ssh + a staff isn't really useful enough to constitute it as a bind imo. The only situation I can think of where gaunts would be better than plate is if you have a shortbow bound and you range majority of the monsters in the floor, but in that case a dromo body would probably be better.

It's not that hard to survive with protect prayers and 2 different teleports. Anyone with armor bound before 100 makes me laugh a little. Yeah, most people use w61 just because of the faster xp. Personally, I hate giving xp to leecher lvl 3s who afk in the start room the entire floor. Sure, there are the rare few that actually help out, but majority leech. What I hate more than that, though, is dging with the idiots in w7. I've said this before and I mean it: I'd rather solo larges all day than do 5:5s in w7. bit harsh if you ask me, i dont know you, nor have i seen you in w61, but the skillers i dungeoneer with are very active helpful and only afk in larges for bits of a second, its a fact that almost everyone has a plate bound, and it contributes a lot, im not trying to be arrogant in any way but i prefer my 90k xp/h average, than what you get when you solo, also i highly doubt you can solo larges, im not aware of the most recent updates, but not too long ago 1 person was restricted to medium/smalls, i dont understand that longbow either, but well a lot of the dg community are friendly people, at least those i got to know, in our clan we have no leechers at all and blacklist every to make sure that we can avoid them also the increasing of skill in gsing and keying is a thing that motivates me, doing 4 and a half hour runs are not boring or repetive at all, i consider it more fun to dungeoneer in teams I haven't dg'd in a few months. Last time I did, saying majority of the "skillers" were leechers and afkers is an accurate statement. There was only a small amount that ever fished+cooked food and made armor for the cbers; and I recall many times where we got emote/switch rooms and one or more of the skillers took a good amount of time to get back to the keyboard and ggs. Annoyance. Saying I'd rather solo larges than do w7 was a hyperbole. Most of the time I use range is on certain bosses. Longbow's accuracy outweighs shortbow's speed for the bosses or high level merc rooms that I use it for. I didn't need a plate to survive with 45-50 def. The extra offensive capabilities of having a t5 range weapon adds speed while the plate is an unnecessary safety-net. My stance remains the same. Plate before 100 = lolcow.

Spears being longsword speed give them considerably more dps than any other weapon and the ability for all 3 attack styles makes them all-around the best melee weapon. Usually only range certain bosses, but still used much more than mage, and if I ever need mage monsters drop deaths a decent amount of the time + deaths are easily craftable. For a 3rd bind, I'd have to say plate is the best. I'd maybe consider a staff as a 3rd bind if they make it so you can have an arrow and a rune bind. Maybe. Did they nerf the 4h limits of gems? I recall the limit being 5k last time I was cutting. Not really surprising with all the other 4h limit nerfs they were doing around December.. can't even remember them all. It's pretty easy to buy them all via GE if you plan ahead... well, maybe not all depending on how much you plan on cutting O.o Unfortunately, I don't remember everyone I've met in-game (especially commonish-type names like sonic with random numbers :s). Name looks vaguely familiar, though...

FoxThrottle told me in-game that Water got like 7.5m or something craft xp in a day. I said, "He must be cutting rubies". Proguess Just have to say after reading the posts about money-making... lobsters are less than salmon now from all the bots. Also, made a decent bit of profit crafting waters for 90 rc back before the return of FT and selling for 40+... now waters have dropped below 10 gp. I have very little motivation to train rc outside of GOP now. <_<

Hah, came on here after checking the list (which I haven't done in awhile) to "apply" myself to get on and I notice someone on the page before recommended me. Anyways, been bumping def up for the past month or so, which gave a pretty fast 30-something levels. Totals 1471 now, definitely ready to get on that list. :D
