I don't think a lot of people understand the reasoning behind the honor code. If 2 players are using protect prayers against each other then it just prolongs the fight and decreases the chances of a kill for BOTH people. Now, if both people don't use protect prayers then it's pretty much the same relative odds as before, except now BOTH have a better chance of getting a kill. Now consider how unlikely it is to get a kill when everyones praying, teleing etc... It completely ruins it.

The most likely reason I can come up with is because they are seeking the fame and prestige and whatnot that comes with being high up on a list like this. Getting p2p and training there gives them an advantage over everyone else; it's kind of like the athletes who did steroids so they could get the gold at the Olympics. Also, it's definitely easier to train a maxed "f2p pure" in p2p than to get 2496 total and 2b xp for the front page highscores. Of course, Arkhie had said that she didn't know about this list, but it seems pretty obvious that she was lying about being pure f2p, so I'd guess that was just something to make it less suspicious than "I've been trying to get on the top of this list for ages".

I'd guess that activating the multipliers just adds possible rolls to the dice.

Skimmed over the very in-depth guide O.o One thing: Whenever I made tiaras I always used the talisman on the altar, not the tiara. That way you don't need to right click.

So, now that there's a make-all option for tiaras, does anyone know if it makes them all at once like when you craft ess or if it still goes 1 at a time? Don't feel like going out of my way to test it if someone else already knows :P

GE guide price for bbones is 340... that makes 13m xp cost ~295m. I recall it being over 600m before free trade came back. And they keep dropping... If jagex ever actually does something big to stop bots I'll be sure to stock up ASAP :P

You can gain xp from the 15th of one month to around the 15th of the next and the it'll count it as a month. Looking at Water's craft graph, he still has over 2 days -- more than enough time to set a new record. Plus, if he keeps cutting after that, which I assume he will. he could bump the record a little higher.

Does that stay like that if you've been a member, but didn't train any of the member skills? If being a member at any point would change that to showing the amount of xp, then this would be a very simple way to prove if someone is pure F2P or not. Yes, if you didn't train some of the P2P skills while you were a member and are now F2P, those untrained P2P skills are still shown as "Members' Skill." But if you gained even a single xp in any of the P2P skills, the stats interface will display the current xp regardless of whether you're F2P or P2P. That still doesn't help if someone didn't get any p2p skill xp in p2p. Looked at the charts for arkhie... gaining that much ranged xp in such a short time in f2p with lamps is virtually impossible. Looks like sw'd or effigies or something without a doubt. Also, does funorb membership let you play fullscreen on rs? I don't know what fullscreen mode screenshots look like, but my game doesn't look like that on resizeable. The game screens not as tall because of the ad stuff on the top. Just something else I noticed.

People don't like protect prayers because it just draws the fight out unnecessarily. 2 people meleeing them without protect from melee would essentially be the same, just slower if both were to use protect from melee. This may be a little irrelevant but this thread made me remember one time a top FoG friend of mine said that people who use unis are the scum of FoG.

Castle Wars got the T6 wildy hat, made a video of all the hats + the final emote. The emote shown on the news post pic is for the T6 duellist cap. Prefer the T6 duel emote to the wild one, but the T4/5 wild emote is better than the duel one imo :P Castle Wars' T6 Wildstalker vid:

...4.5k ratings is "good"? I haven't fogged for awhile, but a little while after FT returned a friend of mine told me that FoG was full of bots. Maybe a lot of them have gotten banned? Seems a little unlikely though. Weird... my qc of my rating says 0 too. Highscores is still ranked at 50k.

If they wildy hats worked for f2p too then I wouldn't think twice about it. One of the hats works in f2p; the other doesn't. The news post/KB article states that both shouldn't work in f2p. Not saying that jagex is perfect with their articles being accurate, but it seems to me that either they'll change the wildy hat to work with f2p or make the dueling hat not. Seems pretty apparent to me after the whole vet cape issue which of these is more likely. As for why they're being slow with it, it could be because they're busy trying to get those DG quest things out before the month ends or just because these aren't that big of an issue; just cosmetic hats with no stats.

The news post clearly states that kills in f2p won't upgrade the hats. As far as I'm aware the wildy hat doesn't work with f2p kills. This leads me to believe that the duel hats working in f2p is a [bleep] up on jagex's part. If they don't "fix" it, then cool. But, for now I'm expecting it's a mistake and they will until they confirm otherwise.

Uhh... If it doesn't go by highest/lowest, then why is it that an offer suddenly stops filling when I put a 1gp higher/lower offer in on another acc? I haven't tested this since around a year ago, so unless the GE mechanics changed with FT, I don't see why it'd be different.

They dipped. It happens. If you've been following the prices recently they've had kinda big dips like that -- they bounced back after a few days and shot up more, so that's what I'm expecting to happen again. As soon as they dipped a couple days ago they were stable pretty fast, and are still pretty stable. If they don't rebound soon I'll be surprised. Forgot months ending soon... BTS could play a big role.

Yeah the T2 and T3 caps are pretty fruity for "death" hats. It'd be like watching a death metal band full of crossdressers. EDIT: Helped a friend get T4. Can get 200+ kills in an hour with 2 fast people forfeiting, making 100+ legit kills/h if you get a partner and share forfeits.

Hmm... Maybe I should go work on a duel hat before they "fix" it... EDIT: I saw a post on the RSOF someone said they got 10 f2p wildy kills and it didnt affect the hat. Haven't tested myself tho.

Simple comparison between bots and leechs: First question that needs to be asked: Why are people who bot "bad"? Simple answer is because they get things (experience, items, etc..) without effort from the player while other players get the same things due to their efforts. What do these "loafers" do? They get things with little to no effort from the player. Hmm... The worst thing about team-based minigames is that you have to count on other people who are potentially idiots. At least with solo minigames when you lose it's entirely your fault and if you decide to slack off you lose like you should.

Alching while fish/wcing... My favorite thing since range-mining. :D

Idk why you'd use a rapier in f2p dg... stats are pretty horrible. And I've never really seen CR's animations or compared them to GR.

This thread made me remember something. A few months back I was checking the highscores because a friend of mine was cooking after 99 and telling me how fast he was gaining ranks. If I remember right, over half didn't have their xp 100k past 99 :P. EDIT: Over 180k people have 99 cook. Rank 90k has 13.278m xp. Double your rank in less than 2 hours :P

Honestly, you might as well just bot CW. You'd essentially be doing the same thing.
