then why do them? Apparantly, to you they are a waste of time getting in your way of doing something more important (i'm just picking this up from what you're said earlier and right now). Just seems a little off to me. Most people do quests for the xp, the journey and storyline. This is something you just can't figure out, because they could whoop out something new at anytime. But there is nothing done yet.

Ugh...tomarrow will be a nightmare...kinda... Bio and World Civ Finals...i'm getting kinda sick of bio, mainly because i JUST TOOK that stupid SAT II, which is like a final. This is just 2x that. World Civ will be ok...just a drag because its a hard class.

I think they're making a point that these players who buy stuff aren't just noob players, they didn't have to do that, but they did to show their point. Well...that's contradictory? I'll sum up what you said in these words "Random events are random in specific actions" It's kinda random, but in specific things. That qualifies as semi-random for me.

I had a similar experience. It was a maple short, iron chain and steel med or something in the barbarian agility arena... I kept cheering, and nothing, i ranted to all my friends, trying to figure out the problem. I re-read the clue at least 5 times before figuring out taht i actually had a mage short bow equipped -.-

i scoff at those who are very angry at jagex for this. So their servers crashed, i'm surprised this happens so infrequently. This is OBVIOUSLY their fault...you're left to your own devices to do something else for a while...dang... :? It's a hassle, but it's not that big of a deal.

good read, but there's some iffy stuff in there. Firstly, unless you want to get philosophical on me, the earth is not a game, or in a game. The Earth was formed in the universe, something that has a size that is indefinite. RS has limitations however. It's a game, with various size limitations, so that seriously restricts it. I think it's a little off to be comparing RS to the Earth. But good findings.
