  1. Well, thanks for the advice. I guess I'll just hold on to whatever I get.
  2. I just got a task of 171 or so hellhounds. Now, whenever I get a clue scroll (which is often, considering I'm using row), my first impulse is to teleport out and solve it, thus allowing for more clue scrolls overall. However, this makes the task take much longer than it should, slowing my slaying tremendously. Its not the most optimal behavior, but it is very tempting, in hopes that I might get a really rare reward. So, I need advice. Grab a single clue, and hold onto it while finishing the task, try to do as many as possible, or something in between?
  3. I've been been killing giant ant worker at the base of the vine for a while now, and have collected only the left arm, the foot, and the torso. Does anyone have a time estimate on how long this should take, or if there's a better way to go about getting them? EDIT: Decided to try killing other stuff, and found the parts much fast. Teaches me not to try and farm one things... A note in the activity guide probably wouldn't be a bad idea, to keep others from making the same mistake...
  4. Honestly, the bots probably make about the same amount of money for Jagex as selling gold would...$5 a month per bot is nothing to laugh at. Also, the lower gold is priced in relation to membership, the more gold sellers would have to sell to break even or make a profit.
  5. Nice log! I'm currently starting an attempt to kill+cremate 2k vyrewatch for the prayer exp, but I don't have the patience to actually log the drops...
  6. So, i was thinking about Buyers and Cellers, and realized that I really like the idea of a quest improving the rewards of previously discovered training techniques. There are a number of things like this throughout the game (advanced agility training areas, catching more fish at once, making more runes at once), but i'd kinda like to see more. One of the prevailing problems of the game is that there is large amount of low level content, which is really underused by most player, even those who aren't trying to take the most efficient route. Some really quick ideas i just thought up (please criticize or suggest more) -making low level combat familiars stronger -Something to do with fletching (maybe make more arrows per log or something...) -cooking tastier versions of foods besides fish (tasty bread, or pastry, or something) -Higher hits on lower level slayer monster (probably overpowered....) -Higher yield from low level crops, or maybe a chance for a higher quality veggie that could be exchanged for something else ...That's all I can think of right now. I'd like to know what anyone else can come up with.
  7. when the page is open vs when the image is moused over Note the vastly increased size of the first column. It makes it near impossible to click the link for the scroll.
  8. The image for Champion's scroll -Aberrant Spectre- is broken, and messes up the format of bestiary page.
  9. Wouldn't this data would be quite useful in determining the usefulness of stat boosts? It seems like a worthy endeavor to me...
  10. Ah! I completely forgot about lumbridge basement. Thank!
  11. So, i'm filling vials with water, and was wondering where the closest source of water to a bank is. Currently, I'm leaning towards falador west, but that is offset by its small size (and thus it is harder to click). Anyone have any other ideas? So far, I've though of edgeville and Cathenbury off the top of my head.
  12. I've used Camino to some success, although I've never tried SwiftKit...
  13. Wouldn't that involve giving up an inventory space though? Maybe castlewars and ardougne cape teleport to ring near tower of life instead...
  14. So, i'm crafting some cosmic runes, and I was wondering how useful (if at all) the nearby fairy ring would be. Are there any banks close enough to a ring to warrant using them, instead of the Zanaris bank?
  15. So, I recently found out about doing masses of easy clues from H.A.M members. I went to try it out, and found to my surprise that even ignoring the scrolls (which I did not) I was making a fair amount of money + exp by just alching the slayer staff drops. Are there any other relatively unknown places that are a nice balance between exp, money, and interesting stuff (i.e. clues)?
  16. Hi! Name's wotmania505. I started playing about 5 years ago, became a member, took a long break, and have recently gotten back into playing. Although I love skilling, I hate monotony, so I'll never be doing one thing for very long. Other than that, I don't have much to say... Tip.it has been my goto place for anything I wanted to know about the game, so I figured I'd finally join the community.
