  1. A preemptive grattis to Klonki on 120 dung - ~500K xp left
  2. Does anyone know what Da Broman1 is using to train prayer? He's about 2.4M xp shy of 40M prayer (and first to 40M all), and depending on his method could reach that goal in under 3 hours
  3. Do you want to stick with combat? It might be worth it to do some non-combat related skill like woodcutting, hunter, or thieving, until more information is out about the new effigy rates, and only then to finish 200M attack. Do hunter/thieving and get 50M all :)
  4. At his pace of 1:3 jake will be equal in WC and fm at like 170M, right? That would means that after 200m WC he'd still need 20M fm or so
  5. Until there are absolute rates out, I don't think he'll risk it
  6. I recently got "Al-Kharid" stuck in my head, and was thinking about the desert music in Runescape. As I no longer play, I would appreciate it if someone could make a list of the songs of the Runescape desert. Thank you!
  7. If suomi does 20M more thieving and hunter, he could get 50M all and 4B total exp in a little under two weeks
  8. But can't you make 500M+ from actually RCing to 99? What do you get effigying it?
  9. Grattis to Jdelacroix on 200M farming
  10. I fall into neither. Currently, I can't do any of the "mine/smith" effigies at all, and only up to nourished for the "fish/farm" (if I use an admiral pie). The rest I can do in one form or another. If I get one of those effigies I can't do on my own, I head right on over to W117 and get an assist. Henceforth why I really don't understand the complaining. If you're (and I mean "you" in the general sense of everyone complaining) *that* concerned with being able to do all of your effigies yourself, then stop killing things and waste three, four or five months getting the adequate levels so you can do them. You were going to raise your skills, anyway, so why not do it now. As the saying goes, there's no time like the present. Simple. A few reasons why we can't do that. 1. I planning on using exp from the effigies I can complete to train the skills that can't (yet) be used to complete effigies. 2. I have level 70 RC/Summon. I just got a 91 RC/Summ effigy. See the problem? 3. A little things called baby steps. One small piece at a time. Rather then grind 20 levels and do nothing at all interesting in RS (at least, anything I can gain effigies doing, which cuts out "boss" fights, slayer...) I'd rather, idk, train slayer, kill glacors, maybe collect more effigies... In between the time that I'd spend leveling my skills. Now, in between leveling my skills I go to Glacors or TDs... oh [bleep], I can't get any more effigy drops. Unless someone is very close to the skill they need for the effigy, telling them to level it is unreasonable. First off, that bolded part is completely and utterly wrong. Back in the day, there wasn't a maxed cape. Back in the day, there were 3 people with maxed stats. Also, if you've read this thread, you should come to the conclusion that this NOT the kind of thing the community overall wants (or that tipit'ers really like effigies.) Also, hoarding effigies in the bank until you have the level to open them is, ya know, a good incentive TO train to said higher levels. Also, whether or not effigies should have been implemented in the first place is irrelevant; the point is, they've been around for what, 2 years, and now players who built their gameplay around them get [bleep]ed. I've said this many times already, the solution to effigy farming to train skills should be making the actual skill training better then effigies. There are only two skills where that's a problem, which suggests the problem isn't so much with effigies as it is with those skills. More solutions to effigies includes making them a Boss Monster/Slayer Task Only drop or limit the amount of effigies you can open in a day. Also, here's a question I'd like virtually every veteran of an MMORPG to answer: why is making the game easier for new players a bad thing? (Beside the fact that it pisses off veterans in the first place.) Another thought, how many people do you think are happy about this update? How happy do you think they are? How many people do you think are mad about this update? How mad do you think they are? I'd bet a lot of money that, overall, there are a lot more people angry about this update then are happy about it, and those that are angry about it are angrier then how happy those that are happy about it are. If that made any sense. What does who had maxed stats have to do with anything? Yes I noticed the general atmosphere, I was expressing my thoughts. I never said anything against yours, but you're attacking me as if I have. You made fallacies regarding things that have nothing to do with my original post, which is still correct; effigies are not nerfed. [/rant]
  11. Won't Suomi be attacked in combat opening them? He'll have to run away to open them, and then come back
  12. I don't see the problem. First of all, effigies were designed so that lower levels had incentive to train to higher levels. Now, lower levels can't use te effigies to get to these levels, making them how jagex wanted them all along. IMO effigies were horrible, but what's been done is not I any way a 'nerf' of them. You still get full xp, and the time spent for those camping them is minuscule. They couldn't remove them now, so what they have done is not a step closer. This is the kind of thing we want from jagex; Caring about the game, and its veterans, not new people who lack the patience.
  13. Wow you're right, Da Broman1 is really close to 50M all. He could probably get it by the end of the week if he had the money ^^ Idk rates for prayer, but I think with runners and yak it's 1M xp an hour, so he could get that in a day.. also construction is like 900K an hour with mahogany tables? So that's another 11 hours... depending on how much money he has and how long he can play, he could get 50M all tomorrow (if he plays for 31 straight hours)
  14. I agree with Jeremy. Before, they were still 10 hp. Now they're still 10 hp. Champ scroll is no harder or easier to get now. As for the update resulting in hundreds of thousands of xp an hour for hardly putting any effort, is this really any different from when they introduced effigies? If you wanna have something changed, start with effigies.
  15. In other news, Dapledo is crawlering now
  16. So which of them has 200M runecrafting? Or do you mean simply add one's xp to the other and see if it hits 200M? If the latter, no two people total 200M+ in all skills yet. If you take SUOMI as a given, then you also need someone with 98M+ summoning, and there are only 7 possibilities, none of whom also have 150M+ hunter and thieving except Jake, who doesn't have high enough crafting, farming, or runecrafting. Still, in 12 months, you won't even need two people to have all 200M. Yes, they'd be added together. Drumgun's 30M+ summoning, 40M+ firemaking, and who-knows-how-much-was-needed-M hunter add in to get 200M all. EDIT: Added up, S U O M I and Elvis are 46M firemaking exp, 20M summoning xp, 4M runecrafting exp, and 139M hunter exp away from 200M all.
  17. Are there any two people that between them have 200M all? I was looking at Elvis and S U O M I and they were very close, but not quite. If you added Drumgun they'd have 200M all between them.
  18. I believe I read somewhere that green would be 5B exp now if she had been more efficient
  19. You know what would be helpful? I bonecrusher-like thing for charms, where any charms on the ground got fused into a pouch, as long as you had the tertiary in your inventory/bank/something.
  20. Is this with the overload method? (if it still works)
  21. Okay, so it's /dragon say ahnce/ not /dragon seence/. Huh.
  22. Suomi will get 200M all about 100 days after dap gets 100M all
  23. I agree, I don't think you can take off the exp from extra agility, because the 200M all calc counts time to get 200M all. It's like if I were going for quest cape and added my total qp's with that of another account I had, and subtracted those from the max quest points. But I think what he was getting at is how many of the hours required would be left if he had done other skills.
