  1. Well, if your truly want a rate... 0.5/10 I could easily put that together in Photoshop in 3 minutes. Way to be unique and put tons of work into your sig. The text needs lots of work, the background is way to simple, and you put no effort into it. I like the color though, so that's where the 0.5 came from. And, by the way, rates don't really mean anything without C/C. All they do is boost/crush your ego.
  2. The sun isn't casting any shadows. Remove that black line between the legs; it makes it look messed up. The armor is just a bunch of squigly lines. That light blue sky doesn't fit the other colors at all. Fix all that, and it will be better. 3/10 Edit: Did you really need to make a second thread for this?
  3. The background is pretty simple, but it's appropriate for the avy. The gun is very nice-looking. I like it. :)
  4. Which text do you mean? "Astra" or "RED?" Thanks for all the comments, guys. :)
  5. speakabox: Lol, man. Thanks for that. Nadril: Thanks. I spent a good bit of time on the linework, and it was a ton of fun to make. :P Cruel_Deacon: Thanks. :) Allice: It's a completely different render. I wanted it to be a similar style, but it isn't the same sig. //Astra
  6. ' Another new abstract, this time with line art. Personally, I think it turned out rather well. The render was done in Bryce 5, and all other work was done in Photoshop 7. So what do you think? C/C appreciated. (No pointless ratings please. If you want to rate, please leave a comment too. Thank you.) //Astra
  7. This time I went for a different style on the render itself, and I really liked the result. The text might need a little work, but I think it fits the picture. I thought about adding some tech lines, but didn't think they'd really fit. So what do you think? C/C is very much appreciated. :) //Astra
  8. Thanks. I seem to have misplaced the large render, but this is it without all the other stuff. Edit: 1111th post. Lol, I'm easily entertained by stuff like that. :P
  9. ok, sorry, but people liked my stuff, and i sorry, i just like what i do, i dont think people really care about that stuff you said, sorry Focus more on making them high-quality than making them funny. I'm not saying to ignore the humor in them, just make them better, and it will be easier to make it funny.
  10. No, the background looks like someone already got sick. The tomato looks great, but at least re-color the background to match the tomato, or even get a new one all together. Then it'll be a good sig. :)
  11. Moosh, "Live Like You Were Dying" is a country western song, which happens to be one of my favorites. So that's why I chose that wording of it. ;) I know the title doesn't have anything to do with the sig, but I just wanted a meaningful phrase to put on there. Kng, do you mean the scribbly stuff in the top, left-hand corner? I'm not that fond of it, but it fills up the empty space. :? Here it is without the scribble. I think that looks a little better. Thanks for all the advice so far, guys. :)
  12. Thanks. :) The render was done in Bryce, and all other work was in PS. About the writing, I like it to be small and somewhat hard to read (just an odd personal preference), but I'll try to make it a little more legible. That should be a little better. :) Any larger and it won't fit right.
  13. As others have said, they are quite entertaining and have nice, smooth animation. I especially like the fencing one. :P
  14. I view that phrase a little bit differently than most people do, but I think it works well in a sig. I purposely made the text small, so please don't complain. ;) I've been working on this a good bit today, and I'm pretty pleased with the result. This is the first time I've ever tried some serious linework, and I like the way it turned out. :) So what do you think? Any C/C is very much appreciated. //Astra
  15. Thanks for the advice. :) Ok, I fixed the text, added some gaussian blur for a little glow, and made the color a little richer.
  16. or the simpler version: Seeing them together, I think I like the second much better. The first has way too much going on. So what do you think? C/C appreciated.
  17. Okay, auction closed. If you're currently listed as the current high bidder for a sig, then please PM me so we can work out the details. Thanks to all who bid. :)
  18. Sounds good. Good luck, man. You make awesome sigs, and you shouldn't have any trouble selling them. :)
  19. Bump. It'll end about 1 PM (CST) tomorrow, and I'll PM the winners to work it out then. :)
  20. well thats why i make it until there satisfied. but i see what your saying. but think about it, your doing the same thing in a sig shop :\ this is just a sig shop, thats only taking 2 orders. True, but for some reason this just seems a little different, you know? Maybe if you have them post what they want and how much they're willing to pay for it, and then you choose whomever has the best idea and is willing to pay the most for it, it'll work better. (Feel free to ignore this if you like; I'm just throwing out ideas.)
  21. Awesome sigs, man, but I don't think people like the idea of biding on something they've never seen.
  22. I think the sheer thoughtfullness of the post has intimidated people. I couldn't even begin to give you advice on that guide. It's already way more in-depth than I've ever thought about AS. Very nice guide, and helpful too. Wow, that was so complex it scared me.
  23. As others have said, the white glow doesn't fit at all, and the 80+ Combat looks a little blurry. Other than that, I really like it. Nice colors, good render, and the linework works very well. Nice job. :)
  24. Thanks for the bids, guys. One day left in the auction, so keep biding. :)
