How about this as a sig? It's hard to find a font that really fits, but this is better than the first one.

So... this is my third abstract piece, and I have to say I'm rather pleased with it. Please rate from 1-10. Also, should replace my current sig with this one? (if I do, I'll probally find a better font.) Edit: Ok, just rate my current sig and avatar now. :P

Not bad. It does seem a little crowded though. Try using a fewer number of ripples or making the background less crowded.

Ok, I managed to fix the color a little. It's a little better now.

Strangely, it turns from purple to blue when I save it. Anyone know how to fix that? It looks much better with the purple. (it looks right in Photoshop, but messed up everywhere else.) Edit: Fixed. So rate away, 1-10.

Went through and re-did it. It looks much better now. :D

Lol, thanks for being honest. :P Erm, this wasn't a serious sig. More like I was practicing some effects and decided to go crazy.

Ever since I got Photoshop, I've been goin' through tutorials and messin' around with stuff. I decided to try an abstract, so I just did a bunch a different things to it, mainly just experimenting with new features. Rate it from 1-10. It's my first one, so if it sucks, just say so. My feelings won't be hurt. :P New Version

I'm not a pixel-ist myself, but I'll try to help. They get good at that through practice. Get a picture in your head of what you want, then go for it.

9.5/10 - Awesome work. That canyon is beautiful. :P I've commented on 2-4 before.

I would give some advice, but after what mi3 said, do I really need to? :P 6/10 for your second try though. If you follow mi3's advice, it'll be alot a better. Hmm, that kind of reminds me of one of my early pieces, except better. C'mon, people. This guy is a very talented landscaper. Buy some of his stuff. Dude, I guess people are just into pixel sigs and grunge right now. We landscapers get kinds of left out. :(

Elasped time: 45 minutes? Was most of that spent on the text and cutting out the character? I'm sorry to sound harsh, but my 10 year old sister could make a background like that in 5 minutes. It looks nothing like RS1, I know because I played the game for 2 years. 0.5/10- Very shabby job. We understand that's it's supposed to be a mixed, it's just that it's a horrible one. Now lose the crappy attitude and take it like a man. If you post something that bad and think it's good, you will be flamed.

Ooo... pretty magnetic spheres.... :P I love how the colors shift as they move. That Swiffer sig rocks, man. It's one of my favorite that I've seen on this board.
