Da [bleep]? Dat efficiency. Also, that was our crappy government USPS, not the UPS. For a moment, I was inferring the UPS was possibly worse. The USPS would be infinitely better if they hired some common sense it seems.

Or Batman. Everyone has that background, she's actually filling that role via vigilante justice. Metalbending even seems like a fantasy version of Batman's gadgets :razz: Marvel > DC any day. That is why I prefer her to the Punisher. Wait, does that mean she will be extremely brutal in interrogations off-screen when searching for her men?

I want to see Lin do a callback and say otherwise, kicking ass. Anyone still amused all that platinum in the room rivals the amount real life humanity has mined in history? I was thinking the same thing. Especially that whole wall being platinum. They also pretend like the ground and everything else in the room wasn't at least partially bend-able. He said the platinum was so pure, it can't be bended. From what it sounded like, there is a bit or two of earth that Lin can use. Of course, she was the only one there who could go one-on-one with one of those mechs and win. I am liking how she turned into the Avatar Equivalent of The Punisher. Sounds like she is going to show some of that Toph-like attitude.

So I found an unfinished Rune Fic I had saved on another fansite, which was written in mid 2011. I really can be imaginative when I feel like being horrific, and my mind now is different from 10-11 months ago. Maybe I'll redo it, but make the squick more meaningful than just to post garbage.

Granted, but you can only land on the point ends of other buildings. You'll survive, but will be in so much pain. I wish I had a cleaver to play games with Alg. :U

Note the air in the bloodstream too. Oh the joy, do you want them frozen (blood/water) or have the bends and be in pain or possible paralysis? I am against the Equalists, but I can see how they have legit reasons given mentally unstable person + bending + creativity = Oh crap. Then have them en masse in a triad, focused on a select few when extorting or worse. Damn, I find discussing the horrific creativity with bending more interesting than the actual plot.

You barely touched the tip of the iceberg (pun not intended) on the creativity of how outright lethal and sinister waterbending and airbending (given how Monk Gyatso's corpse was serene and above masses of fire nation soldier skeletons, all powered by a comet at the time) can really be, making one glad they are the passive ones. It's uncertain if Katara decided to proactively use bloodbending and someone exploited it or someone else learned it on their own and begain spreading it, but even then that is just one of many options a waterbending criminal has, such as boiling their victims, freezing them using plants to strangle, creating a mist to sneak attack. To be honest, this is sorta why I want the Triads to be a focus in Season 2 just to show Earthbenders and Waterbenders are just as brutal and vicious (and possibly creepy, hopefully) they can be. I should really stop delving into the horror implications category with this series...

From what I am aware of, Book 1 is 12 and Book 2 would be 14 since LoK is meant to be 26. Of course, given how widely successful this series is, I would not be surprised one bit if the creators decided to contemplate on a third. That's just me and my crazy imagination though. It's amazing how Amon is somehow still able to legitimately scare me, and I have a very difficult time to get the feel of horror to where I've yawned and giggled with amusement at movies and books that supposed to be terrifying. EDIT: Anyone else took observation at how all the platinum in Hiroshi's workshop alone almost rivals the amount we ever mined in human history? Those were just the prototypes.

It's true though. Can you imagine how messed up you'd have to be to drown somebody with your waterbending? Earthbenders would have to crush their victim, and that can get pretty messy. It could be worse. Waterbenders could boil their victims, bloodbend them into suicide, and other things that shouldn't be delved into. Anyways, it appears there won't be new episodes for awhile. I noticed how the episodes seem to have subtle relations to Korra getting a certain chakra nature locked and eventually overcoming it, and it's only 5 episodes till the end of book 1 (where they mentioned Amon is the main antagonist for this one). So we should see Korra being able to airbend/converse with Aang/go avatar state soon. In fact, she's gotten flashbacks every 2 episodes since "Voices In The Night", and the next one to come (eventually) is #8. EDIT: In fact, I noticed the even numbered episodes had Korra get some development spiritually. 2 involved her moving like an airbender, 4 was the first flashback, and 6 was another. It wouldn't be much of a stretch 8, 10, and 12 (the final) would be significant to Korra's spiritual development?
