  1. I am in the same type, adding the extra that I am essentially the same with the news (any controversial case doesn't move me). Oddly, the only way I can be scared is if 1) It's something I really didn't expect or 2) has some meaning to me like playing on a fear I have. Add in how media has played on the zombies and vampires so much that they aren't worth being horror now and fall into action (and romantic for the blood suckers) instead. I honestly want to punch some people for saying today's zombies are awesome without acknowledging the original predecessors. <_<
  2. Banned for not having an interesting avatar.
  3. I never really tried his novels. To be honest, I don't get how people freak out or react to the movies because they lack something to them. While on the topic of "horror movies", does anyone think they're getting too graphically reliant on trying to scare people? It might be because there isn't much symbolism or metaphor to it, but I think older horror movies are scarier most of the time.
  4. That feeling you want to naturally laugh during a controversial scene in a movie that usually terrifies or angers people. Does anyone else get this feeling during certain Stephen King movies?
  5. I've prepared for this moment. *screws up your revival attempt*

  9. Quote from this mythology book: Harpies, The Female monsters in the shape of birds with human faces. They snatch food from tables as their victims eat and carry people from Earth to the Erinyes for punishment. Whenever someone was unaccountably missing, the Harpies were blamed. Note the words snatch and punishment (hint hint), as well as people somehow going missing. Coincidence that we're so kinky?
  10. Dad thinks I give a crap about every gun he buys. Really, he cannot get the [harpy]ing memo that I don't care for anything related to firearms.
  11. Interesting. I thought he quit back in 2008 and was never heard from again.
  12. In my case, my dragon vanished upon releasing it due to a glitch. Thanks for the answers, everyone. I am satisfied with the responses and will make use of them when I get my egg back. :)
