  1. u mad f2p? Yes I know it sucks, but it's late and wasn't wasting much time on this. In all serious, can we finally admit that under Mark Gerhard this game is going to die? :-|
  2. I don't dress that way, but if I did you might think I was 14 since I'm about 4'11 on a good day.
  3. Lol very nice. Okay. I just peed my pants and that was my last clean pair of underwear. <_<
  4. Nice attempted sidestep. You know what? Occupy [Everything] have already come into my firing line (not that it is at all relevant to this thread). Gotta find a girl who'll let me "Occupy" her pants.
  5. Yeah, but they're succeeding. Instead of rioting, Occupy Varrock?
  6. I did it to help the community. When I was asked to join (5+ years ago), there was a decent number of mods, but not too many. We all enjoyed our duties ingame as it mostly was interacting with players on a personal level to make the game a better place. Through the years policies have changed, Jagex business models have changed, and most importantly; Jagex's definition of what Mods are has changed. We've gone from being a way to help the community to nothing more than spambot muters and event planners. If I was asked now, I would decline. But hey, I've put this much time in, might as well see it through to the end eh? Oh that's just the cutest little thing. Aren't you just full of naivte and idealism. I just hate the thought of you learning the truth of the Easter Bunny, Santa Claus, the Tooth Fairy, and Jagex. It's gonna break that sweet little heart of yours. :^_^: Better a naive and idealistic soul than being weighed down by cynicism and sarcasm. I dunno. They say ignorance is bliss, but being a cynical shmuck definitely has it's perks. Pal, should've said Jagex's integrity instead since that is what's imaginary. <_<

  8. No clue why anyone would wanna be a Pmod or Fmod. That's just obtuse.
  9. Realistically you haven't quit. You've just dropped members on principle, and I wonder how long that'll last. Quitting the game entirely will prove your point if you're 'that' upset about all this. Play another game where the company who runs it suits your moral stance. Good luck in finding one. Like I said, I make my voice heard with my money. I was a regular member since it came out. With a blip here and there for different stuff, usually less than a 2 week lapse. I haven't had members since March or April. I don't intend to get it any time soon. I play a little when I have the time. Once again, by quitting you end up leaving the problem as it is. That may work for some people and that's cool. You don't solve the problem, but you don't have to deal with it either. I stick around because I want to stay involved as long as I can stand it. The *most* active thing any person can do is stop giving them money. After that it's the same. You quit, they get no money. You f2p, they get no money. Quitting may solve your personal problem, but not the big one. It's about what you choose to do. So let people choose and stop trying to tell them what they *should* do and worry about what *you* do.
  10. 1) So they get rid of the point of Tip so that they use the main site instead. 2) They control what people can say on their site. 3) ??? 4) Profit?
  11. Quit members instead. Stop giving them money and play the free game.
  12. Lol thought not. So much for everyone's principles on this. I personally have stopped my membership due to Jagex and their actions. I vote with my money. Quitting the game entirely won't do more than that.
  13. Sometimes I think they're just trying to see how much they can get away with.
  14. Wait, what? Ezk, you been fraternizing with the members again? :P We've been having sexy time since before he was a mod so I'm grandfathered in.
  15. Even if they did, that shouldn't mean that a shred of logic won't prevail...no wait, maybe it does... I'm just gonna go to sleep, have a weird sex dream about Ezkaton, and then start the day fresh tomorrow.
  16. In Soviet Russia, Runescapes rapes the spirit of Jagex.
  17. Jagex has just stopped giving a shit, plain and simple. <_<
  18. It kinda does, but you have to have an eye geared to seeing the $ in RuneScape anyway. And the American symbol for money, even though they're British. Let 'em know where their money comes from baby. :shades:
  19. I think the reason why people are upset is twofold. 1) People are legitimately upset over the decision. 2) Jagex is giving some BS reason for why it is happening. Like someone walks up to you. Hey I'm gonna steal your bike and I'm stealing it because the tire is flat.
  20. Once again, we can act all huffy about this and that, but the real reason for the removal is that Jagex wants to protect the chil'run from losing their money by their own foolishness and quitting the game. The impact on people that ran real games is minimal. Figure out another way to make cash. Even if you got screwed with, you didn't really lose anything here.
  21. Nothing. It's your cash and you should be able to do what you want with it. People just complained because A) They lost their money, B) They got scammed out of their money and C) All the people advertising dicing games were annoying. For me, only point C has any validity. Not true, your gp is jagex property, otherwise you could freely sell it to other people to right? So jagex decides what you can do with it and what not. I was speaking more about the morality of it. It is forbidden in some country's to gamble when you are underage, this could include the dice bag in runescape and jagex could (not sure if possible) get sued for that. Once again, speaking about morality of it, not legal implications. Sex between a man and another man is illegal in some states in the US, does that make it immoral? No. A little gross maybe, but not immoral. :P Drum, that was as nice as it could be put.

  24. Probably just said screw it when they realized it's not the #1 f2p game anymore. And if they keep going this way it never will be again. I don't think they have any intention of really bothering anymore.
