While I agree, I also feel like at the same time they haven't been playing hard during the regular season because they only care about the playoffs. The wild-card is Kesler - if he can play like he did last year they're a legit threat. If not, not so much. On the hockey forum I posted on, I actually went out on a limb and picked Phoenix to win the cup. It's a stretch, sure, but if everything goes right for them it's definitely possible. They've got great defense and goal-tending, the best shutdown center in the league (imo) and their offense isn't bad at all. Plus they're one of the hardest-working teams in the league and they can really hurt you physically too. Not confident in Luongo. We all know AV loves him and would probably wait until we're down 3-0 before he puts in Schneider. We need more offensive production from the 2nd-3rd lines. Our powerplay has to be on point during the entire playoffs...and the Sedins have to step it up a notch. Cannot see Phoenix doing any damage in the west. Too many good teams to compete with. I liked the Hawks originally at the beginning of the season but I believe the hardest working team (Nashville) will finally get over that hump and make it the farthest they've ever made in the playoffs this year. They aren't flashy but they're solid all away around. Great coach, great goaltending and the addition of Radulov helps.
