That's because nobody actually taught Luke how to fight like the Jedi of the prequels. I expect the saber fighting to get more intense over time as the sequels go on. However, I too like the more slow paced fights.

JJ didn't want to do all of them apparently. He didn't want to be "the Star Wars sequels guy" or something like that.

[Hide]I also didn't like his face, but at the end of that Saber fight he earned his sith scars. All over his body and face. And he nearly lost the fight because about 15 minutes prior he took a [bleep]ing wookie bow caster to the hip (which all movie had been seen throwing it's targets 10 feet in the air and farther ). I loved the duel personally. It had all the emotional charged drama of the original trilogy duels but with the more intense action of the prequels. None of that over coordinated coriagraphed nonesense. [/hide]

Today I saw this on Facebook and near died.

I mean, debating about this stuff in pointless in general (same with debating what toppings you like to have on a pizza), but can be stimulating and it can make you think about stuff in a way that you'd never thought about before. [bleep]ing go for it Mere. (yeah, try it on a computer instead)

If you have moderator posting privileges (Mere, you should, and I did at one point) you can just like spam-click the post button and post pages and pages of duplicate posts.

We assume that he eventually got to that point based on non-canon source material, but nothing that we've seen in the movies really backs that up. I hope that changes though as I want to see what became of Luke. @Vevia You really don't like talking with people who have a different opinion than you do...

I feel that 3 pictures is the perfect amount. With just 1 picture, they could be like 400 pounds with just a picture of their face or something and you'd never know until you met up in real life. With more picture, you get more data points as to how the person looks or what they do.

We're debating whether the movie can be equal to or greater than the originals based on the story/plot. @ Vevia I don't think anyone really ever said that Luke was powerful. The only character we can really compare him to is Vader who was definitely more 'powerful' than Luke, but is quite a bit older (not to mention crippled) and was bested in 1 lightsaber duel. The emperor/Yoda were clearly beyond Luke, and Obi-Wan never really showed any of his force prowess besides a few simple mind tricks.

@Vevia For the first like 2 hours after I saw the movie, I thought it was the best thing ever. Then I sat and thought about it for a while and decided that it wasn't as good as I initially thought.

I don't know how you can say it is better than the originals. The plot is just recycled material, huge portions of the movie are extremely unnecessary and the screen time they took up could have been much better used giving more backstory for characters or groups like the First Order or the Resistance (which makes literally NO sense at all)... You have characters that are supposed to be important that get very little screen time. I definitely want to see the movie again before I really make up my mind about it, but it just seems rather generically average. I think that most people would rate this movie like a 6.5/10 if they had never seen or heard of any of the other movies. This would be ok if the movie was a sequel instead of a reboot. The movie tricks you into thinking it is a lot better than it is just because it has "Star Wars" in the title. I know I sound a little gripe-y about the movie, but I actually did enjoy it. There are good things about it such as the visuals and the acting. I really want to see the next movie before I pass true judgment on TFA. I hope that this movie is like the first chapter or two of a book where everything is just really dull and boring, but necessary for plot development.

I went and saw TFA last night, and I'm still super confused how I feel about it. Without spoiling stuff, it feels super good to watch visually compared to the prequel movies, and I thought the action was on point. However, it just doesn't really feel like you are watching a Star Wars movie for some reason. I don't know how to describe it, but it feels strange. I can't decide whether I love it or are just 'meh' about it. I guess I'll have to watch it again.

Or you could just make a super long password made up by a random character generator and not write it down. You can also reset your defense/hp levels which makes you re-do a bunch of quests.

They'd die every quickly in a DM, but they would probably be able to tank and run warbands style for a few minutes. Really though, they'd want a real shield if they were trying to survive.

Assuming you are using void for tanking (which you should be), the difference between using the mage set and the range set is basically negligible. Magic builds adrenaline faster, which is useful. You also don't have t90 accuracy or t90 shield when using range for tanking. You also don't get Metamorphosis, which is extremely powerful for healing on p1. The only upsides to using range for tanking is that you can use frag shot and corruption shot. Frag shot makes Vorago un-maulable on p5 if you use it at the wrong time. And when it is all said and done, you are talking about using defenders for tanking, which you can't even do with a Strykebow. Have fun with that extra 3% accuracy with Sagaie.
