IMO it should have the same restrictions as before; if the account has at least one skill above 30 then it gets to keep the name. Then if the account doesn't meet those requirements, after 6 months the name is removed.

You don't instantly start downloading 700mb of cache once you log in, though. You can just log in to lobby, then exit and close the client. Shouldn't download more than a few KBs, if not a few MBs.

When they did graphics updates the first time around in live RS, people kept complaining that "nobody wanted graphics updates" etc. etc. "everybdoy liked the old looks better" Then they poll graphics updates for the oldschool version of the game and a vast majority of people vote yes on most graphics updates. Hmmmm

It does look better than what the current pickaxe looks like, but then that's the first step on the road of making everything super inconsistent. :/ I voted yes just because it looks better, but it will annoy me that dragon pickaxe won't be following the same trend as the other dragon equipment.

Maybe, but if it was possibly to get both the effects of crystal pendant + the effects of whatever strongest amulet you have, then you would be able to get the more out of it in the long run from your strongest amulet while also being able to get the motherlode rewards (which we don't know what they are yet iirc, they mentioned something like Cwars tickets, champion srolls, etc. but then removed those from the table since people thought that was overpowered.) The point being that if you do combat you have to choose between better stats or motherlode rewards while skilling doesn't have to make that choice. Unless they did say what all the rewards would be, then if it's possible to get all of those before the Elf City comes out by doing combat and using your strongest amulets instead of the crystal one, then sure.

I like the d pick design in osrs, it goes well with other dragon stuff. Like dragon equipment looks almost the same as every other bronze-rune equivalent, except they have a small difference in shape or something else which distinguishes them from the others. I hope they don't stray too far from that if the community votes for the graphics updates.

The motherlode shards, elder seeds, etc. aren't there to assist you in achieving reqs for plague's end, you get that from rubbing the amulet daily for crystal bxp shards.

But the thing is, if you choose to do combat then you have to sacrifice short term benefits for long term benefits, but if you skill instead then you don't have to since you never really need anything in the neck slot when skilling.

I would definitely destroy the rapier to buy spikes for main hand claw since you already have the off-hand claw.

btw there's a wi-fi download for a special pattern vivillon right now, available in every region. All you need is wi-fi access.

GWD teleport and Trollheim teleport appear to be two distinct spells on my end here.

Thoughts? This is wearing Royal d'hide w/ Nezzy, Glaivens and using Royal crossbow. Imagine with Pernix + Asc... Doing 500s, 600s, 700s relatively often on Frosts with the same stuff.
