It really depends on your job or the work you do. It's easy to do HITS on Mturk while AFK scaping. Some jobs you just need to be there, like security jobs, or have lots of downtime. I agree which is why I said REAL work. For example, writing a research paper for instance which requires your 100% undivided attention. There are lots of work that are not REAL work. For example, cramming an exam is not REAL work. You can probably afk runescape doing that. I agree. Filling forms, taking care of babies for instance, is not REAL work. Listening to lectures in school is NOT real work. You can afk doing that too. Security is definitely not real work. You can probably do security, afk runescape, afk 2 more games, cram for exam and take care of babies all at the same time. In fact most CEOs of the world can afk runescape cos they do not do REAL work. EDIT: Sleeping for instance is REAL work. Eating, bathing is not REAL work. You can afk runescape.

These guys obviously dont "earn" a living. Real work doesnt involve multi-tasking Runescape at the same time. They work hard, but are definitely not "going at their own pace". They do enjoy it though and have real passion for the game.

I also agree that one is never too old to do something. Although as we get older, we get more responsibilities layered upon us. Like the obligation to earn our own money, feed your own self and your family, additional work responsibilities, doing your own household chores, cooking your own food. All these should come before runescape.

You guys should quit whining. Runescape may be a fantasy but mimics real life. This is how the world works. People cheat on tests, exams, relationships, business, in anything and everything. This is how life works. If you want to be legit and grind it out putting in twice or thrice the effort. Yes you have my respect. Because that is true meritocracy. But the reality is that cheating works. Shortcuts work. Spins do the job. And I acknowledge that as well.

Smart good post. I certainly agree. As long as you dont get caught, you can break the rules as much as you want. But if you do get caught, u pay the price. Runescape is a microcosm of real life and that is exactly how life is like. Grind hard isnt enough, you need to play it smart as well and a combination of the two will get you to the top. At the end of the day, those that "deserve" to be at the top do make it. No one can argue that any of the top 10 did not put in "significant" effort and sacrifices. Drumgun is #1. There is some meritocracy in this game and because of that there is still hope.

Is there a way to calculate "squeal" time? Assume Alice works with modest wage of 10$ per hour and just buys spins. What would be her time to 200m all?

Multi logging is NOT the norm. Why is it the norm? Allowed ok but still weird. Imagine you are playing 5 accounts at once. Why is this legit?

Jagex obviously monitors the top accounts very carefully and know clear and well who does what and how. So clearly to an extent, they approve of it. Further, I may add, Jagex obviously knows clear and well 200m in any skill is a complete moronic waste of time and life. Assume a modest 40k per hour, 200m should take 5000 hours per skill. That's about 200 days of nonstop gameplay. So over the years, not only have they increase xp rates drastically to an almost laughable level, they condone all these "cheating" methods. I will say no more.

It would've been too much time wasted on earning the real life money, you waste no ticks on multilogging if your suomi-efficient, you cant multilog real life & runescape at the sametime being efficient, if you start with 13m xp in all skills you'll have 15000 hours left that will lead you to 100B+ with no time wasted, spend that money on buyables & sof bonus xp/spins, that would've been the most efficient way to do it, Efficiency expert approved this message. and if u won million usd like suomi did? Assuming your goal is 200m all then bonds is the way to do isnt it.
