suomi was playing alot , but best skiller zarfot 4ever It really depends on the criterion you rank them isnt it. For me its not so important to play efficiently like zarfot, runescape isnt astrophysics anyone with reasonable intelligence can figure it out. For me its all about the titles. Zezima, suomi, old nite, zarfot all these rank 1s are great regardless of the fact that the game has evolved. They are like world champions. The rest not so much. Not disagreeing or anything but I just want to point out that its all about what your criterion of best skiller is.

To compete. To show the world how much of a grinder I am. Even though, I've moved on to other things, Runescape was the first thing that kept me going at it for more than 12 hours in a row. Never knew I had that in me.

This.^ Is runescape a waste of time? Of course not. It does not seem obvious. How about changing the question: Is having sex without the intention of procreation a waste of time? Now what do you think? In fact, why is anyone writing such a long answer to this question? Its really simple. Ask yourself, what do you want to achieve? What is your goal? How do I get there? Say if your goal is to be the best in runescape. Then go ahead and play it. Say if your goal is to be the best lawyer in the country. Then go study hard every single day. We have the same amount of hours in a day, same amount of hours in our lives. Approx ~700k hours. In that time, you are in control of how you want to spend it. There are trade off to everything so the hours are up to your own judicious planning.

Just buy a bond dont complain. Its takes max 18hours to make 6 mil.

Longest rs session is about 15 hours. But I studied for a test for 30 hours in a row once so clearly there is room for improvement.

Anyone can do what he does - play 15 hours a day. Sleep a 7 hours. But we choose not to. So im not sure what you are trying to say. Unless you mean he plays 20 hours a day and uses some secret stay awake technique like polyphasic sleep patterns...

@zisk I think you're lost in your argument. What you are trying to say is that the healthy way to live is to play Runescape in moderation to destress. That is totally fine with me. How you then link that to playing efficiently and respect is totally off. Runescape is not a game that is supposed to have an endpoint. So whether you play it efficiently or not, its not supposed to end. If you play it efficiently, you'll just reach your goal faster. But the game never ends. If your argument is that playing efficiently saves you the time for other endeavours, then why not quit Runescape altogether? People should be allowed the freedom to do what they want. If their goal is to be the best in the world in terms of playtime, that fine. If they want to compete in a game in a non-efficient way, that's fine as well. Life is inherently meaningless. We make our own meaning of life. There are goals we set for ourselves to achieve and achieving such goals gives us satisfaction and meaning. If you argue that living life in a certain way or having certain goals makes you superior, you're wrong. There is no such thing as a wrong goal. That goes against the idea of freedom. Nobody cares about respect. There's no such thing as respect in a game or in life. People live, people die. If they achieve their goal in life before they die, that's great because they would have died satisfied. So let's get back on topic guys.

If you want common sense and honesty here it is: They need to merge attack and strength. Doesnt make sense to have meele have 2 skills while rangers and mages have 1 skill Non combat skills need to be non combat. That means removing prayer from having any effect on pvp. And summoning and so forth. If these skills are combat, they should be included in the calculator. Its so obvious guys. so this is my solution. Remove prayer, summoning and strength from pvp. (Can still use for pvm; since no one cares how strong u are in pvm) Calculator is 99def+99Consti+99 (atk,magic,range) +3 with a total of 300. Or if you like low numbers then 300/3 = 100 max level.

It changes with updates no? Ihave no mandate to give any sort of advice but believe you will have to do the fast non-combat skills first. Then the combat skills. Then lastly the slow noncombat skills which you can buy with spins*/likely to be nerfed by jagex. You should also recognise that getting 5.2B exp will probably take you at least 2-3 years which by then the game would be very much different from what is it now. *just putting it up there, not looking for an argument over this.
