  1. Interesting, looks like the kiln quest is in my very near future. Thanks for all the advice!
  2. You did them right? Your the one that didn't pay attention. That being said, there isn't a compilation of story lines that I know of.
  3. Thanks for the info.... Looks like I may be turning them into shards, because the market will be flooded. Thanks!
  4. Do the quests. First hand would be my best bet. Most people use a guide and rush through them as fast as possible, and don't take in the lore and the story.
  5. Going to make a push on dxp, curious about rates. Last I remember I was thinking it is something like 3k/hr at the fastest. Is this accurate? Also, will be making granite lobs, is it best to sell the pouches or exchange for shards? I assume selling, just making sure. Thanks!
  6. I am getting 60-70 at 69, so I am guessing thats a tad slow, will get faster for every tier of fish you unlock
  7. I'm guessing you hit the nail on the head there arceus. Add a reset token to invasion, and possibly to penguins, and that gets him there.
  8. And yea, it was precisely in 1 hour, he logged in after I did, couple mins before the comp started. I am imagining he did troll invasion, and penguin points. He has been comped for a while, so quests have no effect... Wonder if you might have a list of all minigames that give fish xp? He also hasn't used any bxp in it, all of that goes into his 200m farm goal.. I am just astonished at that number, we've only known about competition for 3 weeks
  9. Okay, that's what I imagined Arceus. I was guessing penguin points and other minigames, and I wasn't aware of the late update thing, where you can log in early. It's nbd, just wondering where I was missing out :P Thanks
  10. In a fishing comp, and I know someone pulled OVER 450k in one hour... with 0 bonus xp. What did they do to do this? Also, at 63 fishing what is considered FASTEST xp? Thanks
  11. Any idea on how long it might take from having no void at all? Assuming The Void Stares Back is completed?
  12. I would also definitely recommend doing a small amount of questing to unlock crystal bow, or possible getting 80 range and get a royal crossbow, whatever you seem to prefer!
  13. Cost has absolutely NOTHING to do with performance of weapons. All weapons damage is based off of it's level. The higher leveled weapon is nearly always a better option, purely based on damage. Assuming you are using abilities, the speed of the weapon has nearly no matter either, making the dark bow a better option, hands down. Bingo on why the dragon x-bow is so expensive.
  14. Ehh, possibly. It doesnt hurt to start slayer NOW, and then if you get a task that you cant do, train up till you can do it .
  15. Quests are a great way to start out. Get a few mage levels, and I'd knock out waterfall, fight arena, tree gnome village, grand tree, and holy grail ASAP. Those are always on my priority list when starting fresh.
  16. Fair point, I suppose. Thanks for the advice. I've got a group of good friends to rots with, so this isn't an issue for me. I do appreciate the information. Hmm.... Very good idea here.... working on 90 attack as I type this, and that might be an even better solution to my tiny cash stack problem. Thanks for all your advice!! I think I am going to drop the nex set, pick up top/bottoms of T70 power armour, and put the rest toward drys. Are maces still considered the best due to the pray bonus? THANKS!
  17. Do you do much bossing, or know much about rots? Thanks
  18. I have a quick question. I literally just gained the ability to boss, well higher level boss, meaning Nex. I have done gwd and qbd, both fairly easy. I was expecting Nex to be difficult. I went ahead and dumped my cash stack and loot tab into Pernix, and was going to use warpriest as my mage switch. I was DPSing a duo. I am 93 range using rcb, and 75 mage using sol. Let me start by saying I am disappointed! I thought there would be no way I could dps Nex with tier 80, let alone my first time. It went well, 3 kills first trip due to me getting used to mechanics. The next trip I was so stunned I decided to use zammy warpriest. This worked well, resulting in a 4 kill trip. I took nearly no damage, and kills were smooth as all get out. I had imagined me NEEDING Pernix to stay alive from Nex, but I was wrong. MY QUESTION: Nex will be my main boss as I work towards max combat, and rots will be there soon hopefully. Would it be best for me to dump my Pernix and get all the tier 70 power armours? If I could use warpriest for 4 kills, I am guessing a armour switch would make my life a bit safer. What armour is REQUIRED for rots? Extra cash WILL be put in my savings for dual ascs Slaying is also a priority of mine, I love it. I have been using warpriest, but the 70 power armour would definitely work better for me, so this is a plus for dumping Pernix. Thanks all, hopefully you can understand my ramble. =D
  19. Nechrael are a very fast task, and they are prettty good xp. If your willing to range, of course.
  20. 1. Fast 2. Much faster 3. 4. 5. Fast 6. 7. Fast I don't have exacts, but I believe actually making ovlds can be like 600-700k/hr. All of these can definitely be found by a quick google search, or possible taking 15 minutes of your time to test.
  21. Can do the Tai Bwo Wanni quest to unlock the banker guy. He takes 10 trading sticks per item to bank.
  22. The way I understand it, ALL members raise stats by 10% of base stats each level.
  23. Glad you were helped out :) Personally, I believe you are just fine using T90 mage and melee, and if you want to slay ascension creatures I'd just stick with chaotics, unless the extra dps is THAT important to you. I might begin to think that chaotics may slow you down, but it is such a small amount that I can deal with the small extra time spent. That being said, to each his own and I wish you the best in your training!
