  1. I just stepped back on space and stood by the ladder.
  2. Yyaaaaaaaaa-no idea how much these are worth right now.
  3. Now to cook it all, and I have a lot of food for training now!
  4. Did you kill anything in specific for that cash, or just do slayer tasks?
  5. It should be against the rules I consider the two games as being 2 different accounts, and one of Jagex's rules is your accounts should not interact in any way.
  6. The Glory Edgeville is definitely the closest After that, Ectophile, and run south west
  7. So, everyone's reset, your stats are 1, you have no money, and only a few tools. What did you all do to get yourself started in this game so far? I started out by fishing, and cooking. And then just moving onto other resource skills. Basically anything that requires almost no money to train. I still haven't made much money, the most I've had is about 50k at one time, but I've gotten a total level of 625 so far just training a variety of skills.
  8. Obviously people power trained Pre-GE, but the GE made it easier to, thus encouraging itmore. Before the GE, people could sell cooked food for MORE, or at the very least just swap cooked for raws. Once the convenience of just buying your XP with the ge came, that was gone, for every skill. Another thing the GE did was restrict player/locational influence on prices. You were no longer able to go to world 18, Edgeville, and sell your food for nearly double....because the prices were put in place for you. Making armor was profitable in 2005 Making potions was profitable in 2005 Cooking food, making bows, etc. was profitable in 2005 There was reason to raise stats other than Quests and High numbers in 2005
  9. Unless they add all the updates that happened from 2007-2012, no it won't. The GE for example, was one of the biggest economic changing updates. It encouraged Power training with it's convenience. Instead of fishing and cooking your own food, it was more efficient to just buy it straight from the GE...and then pay to cook later for levels. This caused raw resources to actually cost more than the end products. Further updates in the game made certain skilling methods and products useless, while making others useful. Changing and fluctuating the prices as such. The economy won't be even close to the same as the EOC game unless the same updates are made.
  10. As far as the membership fees go, once my current membership runs out in about....2 months or so, I'm not sure how long it will because I'm still on that free month, and it doesn't show the membership card I used yet. I won't renew it if the price stays the same, and I have to pay more just to play the one game. If I'm going to spend 13$ a month on a game, it's going to be for a bigger and better more popular game. I support the addition of the servers, and I enjoy playing on them, which is why I voted for them. But that doesn't mean I'm willing to pay that much for it if it stays that way.
  11. Sounds good! Probably won't need many sections either. just like...General Discussion, Help and Advice, and Guides should do I think for it. Thanks
  12. Construction started dying just months after it was actually released, because people realized it had very little pay-back for the great costs. Most of the conveniences you get from construction are small, or you can simply use someone else's house for the same conveniences...without spending money to level it. It saved some bank spaces, had some teleports, and a safe place to rest and restore. That was about it for personal use. Back when I played, I didn't even TOUCH construction until level 50 (penguin points back then to get there), and that was just to make portal rooms, an altar...those simple things really. it wasn't until I had a larger bank worth, and essentially nothing else to do, that I decided to just level it for the sake of leveling it, and making a nice big house. It needs more Out of House uses for it to actually be worth training in depth.
  13. I'd be surprised if this hasn't been suggested/thought of yet already, but I didn't so it so... Will there be a section for the 2007 servers? Maybe just under the normal RS section. It help with reducing any mix up in discussion/help threads between the two, since right now they're just in the same section it looks like.
  14. This should do nicely, since I'm only playing the 2007 servers at the moment. I wish I could upload my own pose though, but this is great for now until a version comes out elsewhere I can do that. Thanks a lot!
  15. For the most part, that's how I've been playing. I've only touched Fletching, and done a couple slayer tasks so far, but otherwise I'm starting myself like I did so many years ago. Getting those easy, f2p skills and quests done, then moving on to the whole game. It's just easier for me mentally that way.
  16. So I stopped playing RS late 2011, and any time afterwards I tried to get into it, too much had changed and I just wasn't really able to. With the 2007 servers, I find it oddly entertaining to be back and starting over, so...yeah, I'm Back...starting over like many others on the 2007 servers. I was a frequent poster on these forums back when I played, my account name was Sir Izenhime, I'm not sure how many of the same people are still around...so I guess for now I'll just take it as I'm a new guy again here. Yep.
