Gotta Eat

Ehh...WVU is talked up a lot. Every college is a party school, and everything else about Marshall is better. Especially the transportation. Moving around WVU's campus is a pain, and if you need to get from one building to another for classes you need at least an hour so you can catch the tram and travel half way across Morgantown to your next building. It's terrible.

It just depends in all honestly. Earlier I was watching Inception, the I started watching The Office from episode 1 all over again, then I read forums a bit, watch YouTube videos, text people, read a book, write, and now I'm watching Harry Potter. It's just whatever is going on OTHER than that skill is what I'm paying attention to lol. I've got 99 wc and cook (with almost 25m xp) which are really AFK and got 95-99 fm with bonfires which is really AFK, so I just like those things better I guess. My advice would be to just find something easy to do, and just do it. Focus 99.9% on that individual thing, and use that other 0.1% on things like RS, breathing, eating, blinking, etc. and get yourself into a routine that way. It's quite easy to develop a habit. As for lamp pieces, I get one piece every 2 or 3 hours I'd say. It's not a great number, but apparently that's more than most are getting. My numbers are probably skewed though, because I haven't been keeping track, and because an hour in Runespan is like 2 hours of real life (if that makes any sense...Runespan is corrupting my ability to use logic O.o) And as for drinking, Jäger bombs are topped only fireballs, jungle juice, and porch hollers, with incredible hulks coming in close behind in 5th. Thankfully I live in a college town so bars don't care about your age, but especially now over the summer, they just hope you can pay and don't even make an attempt at making sure you're legal. I actually just bought a 12 pack of Stella Artois using my dads ID and the campus liquor store didn't care at all, which is the first time I've ever bought beer from a store. Success. Lol, anyways, it was a fun night to say the least! Luckily I don't puke, unlike my girlfriend and some of my brothers!

If you want a Runespan partner let me know! It's a very lonely place down there when you're by yourself! Haha

Pyxx is my username now. I've used Ywq, Space Pie, Gotta Eat, and Pyxx in the last few years, but I honestly have no idea which one I used 2 or 3 years ago because I took a long break and just came back recently, but you might recognize one of those names, who knows?

While you're opinions on older versions of the game differ from mine (maybe because it WAS childhood nostalgia for me) I see where you are coming from. I definitely have some of the same thoughts when it comes to the older versions of the game, but at the same time, I feel as if someone who's played RS as long as myself (and possibly you if I'm reading your post correctly) can always appreciate the old servers. Obviously, I don't plan on permanently going back to OSRS nor have I ever thought of that, I simply wanted to play for the enjoyment and memories that go along with it. Opinions will never match up, I suppose, but I see where you're coming from. Maybe after "maxing out" your solution will be to go back and start again on an old server. Whether you feel the nostalgia or not, the game is just addictive now as it was then, and you could easily get hooked into the older games like you did six or more years ago. I feel as if, no matter how your or my outlook on the servers are, I believe Jagex kind of feels it necessary (whether obligatory or not we can only speculate) to allow newer generations of RS gamers understand how the game developed. I can understand, from this point of view, how you wouldn't want to come back. You've been there, done that, and got the t-shirt.

So yeah, I got 86 rc, and I'm like 200k from 87 right now. Probably gonna get that tonight, idk. Might already have it but my girlfriend and I went to see Monsters University and then go out and drink with her sister and some fraternity brothers, so that was fun. For me to be in a fraternity, I haven't drank much other than casual beers this summer, and last night we decided to do Jaeger bombs. I had 6. I don't usually get hangovers but today I'm incapable of any kind of higher function other than clicking at Runespan and occasionally breathing/blinking/smoking.

Oh wow, that's pretty awesome. I may go down there like I said just to level for bosses. Are waterfiends better than DRS? I know they got nerfed a bit, but they give like...1.3k experience per kill and near 400k xp/hr I think, but idk which would be better or if what I'm saying is totally wrong. Anyways, nice blog! :)

So, while I was RC'ing, I got a free spin and with it I got this... I think I got 58 DG, 72 Craft, 51 Slayer, 56 Smithing, 48 Agility, and 72 Fishing from it! Yay for free 6 levels! SOF FTW! (Said no one ever) EDIT: I forgot, but on my last spin before this I got a large coin bag or w/e and got 530k from it. I'm getting decent things from SOF for the first time ever...

Thanks guys, I spent 2 hours yesterday camping mask spawns because I was hungover, and I only got like 20k RC xp at the end of the day. Back to it today though, definitely gonna get 86 RC. Hopefully I get it before I go golf with some fraternity brothers who are getting back in town later! Sitting at Runespan for hours with no one but the occasional bot really makes RC a chore, wish I had more friends in game to talk to, but fortunately I have found a good clan to help out the boredom...

I find it hard to believe that you, or anyone, can grind/camp 99 combats at Deadly red spiders in ~48 hours, so I'm gonna follow this thread close and see how accurate this is. If it's even close I may do it just so I can boss, lol. Good luck with it though! :)

Cannot find a mask for the life of me. I'm done looking for one, I'll just come back for santas and crackers.

85 Runecrafting and 1750 total level! Yay! I think I may go cook some and get to 25m experience. I need a break from RC nonetheless. I've also been on OSRS trying to get a mask, unsuccessfully might I add, and that's a major pain. I've never once asked for an item, but if someone gave me a mask for free I'd definitely accept it. I can't deal with hopping or camping a spot with 20 other people. I haven't even seen one yet. I can't even deal.

I'm much like Stev when it comes to my personal policies on how others should play the game. I fully understand that bots will happen in any game that botting is plausible. That's a fact of gaming that's unescapable. I've never personally, being an 8 year player of the game, been into racing to a goal, I play leisurely when I can. I've never once thought about botting. Others may find the game boring and just want the notoriety (sp?) of being a top player for a short while. Others still may thoroughly enjoy the game like myself, but are fortunate enough to share the same passion for the same game as someone they trust, thus account sharing happens. I'm by no means justifying what they did, nor am I saying Jagex should go with a "no holds barred" style of judgment when it comes to these types of offenses, I'm simply saying that people can get around rules, and they'll inevitably do what they want no matter the punishment. I see no reason for anyone to care that these players, who clearly violated Jagex rules, got banned. I myself don't necessarily have a problem with it, because I understand I'm just one tiny speck of a percentage of the community, I know my opinion matters little and I'm not going to change the way I play, but why this topic is so discussed is beyond me! Who cares? Jagex is doing there job. You complain when they do, and you complain when they don't. They can't buy a win at this point.

Wow. Countless guides, people, and clan mates have let me down greatly. Trust will surely never be restored. I'll make sure to check these myself before wildly going at it like a blind mouse in the future. Glad I saw this! :P

I was doing a daily and realized I can still burn sharks at 99 if I don't put on gauntlets...gf me I know...but if my RS life wasn't so fully entrenched in Runespan I'd cook sharks. I just recently got 24m cook experience, but I want 50m, so plenty of sharks to burn! :o

I hope you have some sort of gathering for when you get 99 for these skills, I'll definitely be there! :) If you had to guess, how many pairs of hard leather boots have you crafted? Lol...nonetheless, hopefully I'm 99 rc before you get 99 craft so I don't feel so hideously nooby around you if I see you get 99...

You should definitely sell me ACP, ACS, AH, and ACB at a discount because I'm poor...like 16m for 28m worth of stuff...seems fair to me! Haha jk, anyways, more nice drops.
