Agreed. The best equips should ALWAYS be obtained through means other than random boss drops. Otherwise, it's far too easy for the 1% to completely manipulate and control the economy on them. Jagex doesn't understand balance at all, which is why they consistently release bosses with drop rates that are too low for their difficulty/time per kill and GE prices that are FAR too low to use the GE so they remain stagnant and never update. POP was the perfect design-- and I say that even though I am miles away from being able to get any of the POP armors. It combined grinding a minigame with having relatively high skills. T99 gear should be-- HAS TO BE -- obtained through some kind of minigame, combined with some assortment of level 99 production skills. It's totally fine for it to take 3-6 months of that minigame to get the item. I'm OKAY with that. Because that's still far more realistic than expecting anybody who didn't luck into rares or stake/merch their way to the top to ever obtain 2.6 BILLION for one item. And before anyone says "DERRRRP DA BEST GEARZ SHUD NOT BE USD BAI NUBS!!!11!" requiring 99 crafting or smithing alone for the gear keeps it out of the hands of "nubs." Those are NOT easy skills to get 99 in, especially now that bots are gone and resource costs are through the roof. I just wonder what this new Barrows gear will be like... I mean, we already have t90 tank armor and t90 power armor... What else can we get? I am afraid it is going to have a significant impact on Nex armor, ruining that boss. Ideas for new set effects: Verac: 33% chance your melee attacks and abilities complely ignore your target's defense/block chance. Dharok: As your HP drops, your strength increases significantly and you gain extra adrenaline when you attack. Your strength gains are double the normal set bonus and you gain an additional 2.5% adrenaline per attack, per 10% HP lost. At 10% HP you do 400% extra damage and each attack generates 25% adrenaline. Guthan: Each attack heals 10% of the damage inflicted. Torag: 50% chance with each successful attack to damage the opponent's armor, increasing damage sustained and reducing defense/block change by 5%. This effect stacks upon itself and lasts 10 seconds. Stacks are removed individually. Ahrim: 10% chance for each magic attack to inflict bleed damage over 10 seconds equal to 25% of the damage inflicted by that attack. This damage-over-time effect can stack upon itself up to 5 times, and each new stack added resets the timer. Karil: Each attack has a 33% chance to be followed by another, immediate attack. I have no idea what Akrisae does ;..;

This doesn't include another 8m from a Pernix Body split. Altogether, through two trips, we had B2B p chaps/body (I dced/died and missed the chaps), then late in the second trip we had two V wands about 4 kills apart. The most money I've ever made at one time monster hunting... Credit, of course, goes to my clan for teaching me how to Nex and being willing to put up with my noob ass :P

Sirenic Armour- 22nd October
The thing is, they could MAKE Vorago a great money making venue for people, if they weren't just completely retarded. All they have to do is manually adjust the wand GE price to max cash and BAM, Vorago becomes worthwhile for everybody. So ****ing what if the street price is 2.6B, you don't think most people would gladly accept a 2.1B split? In a group of 20, that is still 105m EACH. And besides, street price would fall if the GE price were much closer to it, because then people would have a reason to run Vorago. More wands means the rich elite have less control over the supply.

I'm pretty goddamn mad about the changes to losing 20% charges on death. Presumably, that also means if you die and lose t90 power armor, you also lose 20% charges on THAT.

I just hope they don't decide "hey, lets give you real benefits for having prestiges" because that will seriously unbalance the game. The nolifers who have the free time to get 50 million exp will have an extreme advantage over the rest of us plebs who can barely scrape by 13 million xp.

The six-hour logout is immensely irritating, especially since it apparently counts time spent in-lobby. Most of my time spent in lobby is AFK, so STOP ****ING COUNTING IT! Or, better yet, don't impose a maximum activity limit. I don't know of any other game that does. If people want to nolife for 15 hours straight, why do you care? It's their choice to spend their time like that.

I'm not sure, I know a couple people looking forward to resetting their favorite skills, and at least 1 other that was going to reset everything. You're probably right that most wouldn't, but I don't think its fair to say no one. I think its fair to say not nearly enough people who enjoy rs for its 200m cap, rather than this new 'limitless' system, will ever plan to vote yes This. There are a few hardcore players this will appeal to, but vastly more players who really couldn't give a damn less. It's a waste of dev resources to make an update that appeals to what is likely less than two hundred players.

Evolution of PVP combat!
I would greatly appreciate this, as well. Jagex seems so intent on putting awesome skilling resources in the Wilderness, it would be nice if I could take advantage of such things without having to worry about the chance that a PKer tries to kill me for my gear. If there were worlds where PKing was just an inconvenience instead of a risk in the Wilderness, I would be far more encouraged to venture into that area. The PKers would still have the majority of worlds to try to kill people for their loot, and the skillers could take shelter in the two or three "Safe Wilderness" worlds. Everybody is happy.

I have absolutely no interest in this. It's good for people who have run out of things to do, but other than that, I don't see much point. I do suppose it'll reinvigorate the market for many low-level resources though.
