I remember I Mahatma I using the charge spell over and over again. He posted about it. A mil exp or something in an hour or so. Ridicously fast but also ridicously expensive :P But meh, he could afford it. The best way of training magic is by using ice blitz (no need to barrage a single monster)/barrage at PC. Easy to get the zeal and 1k+ for the game + the xp you gained during the turn. Very, very expensive. But fun and easy. :anxious:

Get as good tanker stats as possible. Ideal stats: 99 ranged, 99 magic, 99 def and 99 hp.

You have low defence, no wonder rangers can hit often. Its a useful skill, you should look into it. A good melee will of equal stats will almost always put up a really good challange/beat a ranger. So they can hit constant 21s? And I know for a fact, go to world 18 Edge, that they slaughter Rune Pures. That's why I've got k0'd twice by rune pures. :?

Maybe rangers would own "normal" players with equal combat stats. But against pure, no matter if it is rune or normal pures, they own rangers.

It's only possible to shoot a maximum of 2 times before the melee guy is at you.

To add more: Kinda hard to poison many arrows. Dragon dagger only needs to be poisoned once.

How can a ranger attack a melee from distance? Of course on his first strike he can but when the melee gets close to him the ranger is dead.

Maybe rangers own at lower levels but now I've tried my luck twice against rune pures. I got hit for a 38 with a whip even though I'm 86 def. To other replies: 2 specs in a row could be acceptable.:D

I can't really see how it would be too powerful? Pures can hit 20+ twice in all 4 specs. That's unfair :P

I'm a tank pker (at least a bit). And when fighting other pkers I find it unfair that I as a ranger only have 1 spec in a row, while the melees have 4. I remember back in the days when rangers also had 3 specs. Should it be changed back again? EDIT: To all you spammers: I'm not complaining, I just think that it's unfair that rangers only have 1 spec against melees 4. :wall:

:lol: :lol: What the big deal? A little kid sees you playing RS and is courious of your character in the game. Dude would you go to some random persons door and say. "Hey I saw you playing RuneScape through your window. What combat level are you?" I'd punch the guy rather than tell him. I wouldn't go to some random door(which it isn't in this story either btw - he sees through the window, not like he just goes to some door). And I wouldn't wanna meet you if you punch people that ask you about a game. :-k
