  1. I bought some stuff from those shops before--I was so happy when I got my first mithril battleaxe. However, this was like 7 or 8 years ago. Now, many are redundant in the face of the Grand Exchange. Some stores like the battlestaves and rune stores I still frequent, and others like platebody stores may still be visited by lower levelled players because even though the G.E. exists, low level equipment can be hard to find requiring one to pay 3-10x the actual G.E. price. If I only had a hundred thousand gps to my name, I would use those shops :P. I also like how they look and wish they could have more use, especially to low levels.
  2. I've got a few for y'all to think about: When you cut a tree, they magically stack into logs neatly. Your backpack in general. Can hold 1 billion arrows yet just 28 bananas. Cash stack and 3 item protection. Because when you get killed for loot, the killer will leave three items and all the money in your wallet for you. Trees grow in seconds yet take hours during farming. Have fun!
  3. I know this is bringing up an old post, but I feel like you missed my point :p Although West Ardougne is supposed to look atrocious, after Plague's End, the mourners all left and the Knights of Ardougne (the "good guys") moved in. Thus, the city should be in a better state, or at least on its way to a better state, hence my suggestion for a way to repair the city. In terms of Falador, is fighting white knights useful at all? I'll give you the Mining Guild though. Although I've never used it myself, I heard it's useful :p.
  4. So, as the thread name suggests, I want to propose some suggestions for future updates. Without any delay, here are my suggestions: 1. Rebuild West Ardougne. Perhaps make it an activity/D&D/minigame/miniquest but make West Ardy rebuildable and allow it to become permanently rebuilt at some point. This means getting rid of the broken homes and such, and have it become a full fledged city (again, maybe with a quest or something) with attractions, lodestone, banks, etc. West Ardy just feels like it's still as battered as it was with the mourners there. Also, there should be fewer Knights of Ardougne there. I know Jagex just removed the mourners and replaced them all with Knights of Ardougne, but Jagex should reduce the number of them because it looks like a police state at the moment. 2. Sequel to Olaf's Quest. The ending parchment promises more treasure, and it hasn't been fulfilled. A sequel with additional rewards will tie up the loose end that Olaf's Quest currently has. The cliff hanger is driving me crazy. 3. City Upgrades. Improve attractions to other main cities (Varrock, Falador, Lumbridge, etc) to make them more appealing to visit. Not just visual updates (which I do not think is necessary), but rather functional upgrades, to make those cities more useful to visit. Granted, Lumbridge has been given some more visitors due to the bank chest and travelling improvements, but Varrock and Falador seem deserted--especially Falador. At least Varrock has the Grand Exchange, but Falador seems to have nothing. Who goes to Falador for anything anymore? 4. Make daily challenges that are given to non-members reward only non-member items! This seems like common sense, but I've heard a lot of F2P players lose money because they got a members' only reward, when F2P dailies should really reward F2P items. Thanks for reading. Obviously none of these will probably get implemented, but I was wondering if anyone else has similar thoughts. --Kev
  5. I am interested in the construction rework (fix?) and hopefully there will be more mid-level content/quests. I really hope this year Jagex makes the sequel to Olaf's quest, or at least make the parchment that promises more treasure relevant.
  6. I think even though the snowboarding event is F2P, since agility is capped at level 5, it's basically useless, unless players really want the snowboard. So basically, this is almost useless for f2p exp wise. On the other hand, when Snowverload was removed, f2p players lost a lot of exp. The snowboarding event seems a bit weird, too. Seems like something thrown together at the last minute. Personally, I think there are enough Holiday events already...there didn't and doesn't need to be any more (this year). In my opinion, Jagex should devote more time to development. Personally, I couldn't give two hoots about holiday events and the only reason why I do them is because of the exp lamps. Also, on a separate note, are the cutscene-like scenes bothering anyone or is it just me? Frankly, I like the regular animations better. The agility course in Prifddinas? That was kind of annoying to use :/.
  7. Hi! I have played Runescape for about 7 or 8 years, but I'm forever a noob. I promise that I will never get a 99. I am looking to have fun in-game and talk to people, and am looking forward to mingling with you all on tip.it. RS3 name: kevjumba 3/12/14
