  1. w24 down now =(, mod mark said that they are having to take the worlds down manually in his cc, so it could take upto an hour for them to be in sync with each other.
  2. Surly something gotta give, if everything was just x10 it would be the same as before and not really solve the problem of max hits. i have a feeling specs are a lot lower than they used to be.

  5. From reading that it makes me think it was near completion rather then in its early stages. So it could be possible. Yeah that's what I'm thinking too, probably needs some backend changes to the servers to offer new functionality.
  6. Well that statement can be given to any skill update, specially the recent changes. Its not really going to do much to the gameplay (part from overcrowding), but its certainly going to effect the flow of resources as well as costs. Unless you buy items now, your not really going to be gaining anything later when prices are twice their previous values.
  7. My plan so far First thing i'm doing is planting mages/palms and specials before the event. Then soon as i log in. Doing a quick run checking health on everything. (x2.7) should take less than 10 mins and give like 350k+ farm XP. then summoning will take about 2-3+ hours to get what through i have now that would leave me at around (x2) undecided here maybe a bit of herby here till x1.5 then off to slayer for the rest of the event.
  8. no it stops at 1.1 (10%) for the rest of the event bonus = (hours-10/7.5)2 + 1.1
  9. I doubt it, they tend to do the opposite, ie lamps, rewards ect cant be used on the new skill for the first couple of weeks. Cant see that changing.
  10. Well, its only the first <10 hours that worth using after that its only a 10% bonus. I usually do like 8 hours over a weekend if I have something to do in game, so its not much different from any other weekend.
  11. hmm, think ill be using my first few hours on summoning (glad i'm saved all my charms since i got 88), then rest doing slayer.
  12. Spoiler tags don't prevent an image from being loaded by the browser, only it will prevent stretching before the autosizer steps in. So I doubt that would help anyway.
  13. I'm thinking quest because fremennik isn't f2p and this whole thing seems to involve fremennik. But it is F2P, The strange power event and this. So your statement makes no sense. Like its said before, the Fremennik are there probably because of peer the seer, and not part of the usual Fremennik storyline.

  16. Just noticed that the area of sea to the north of the dock, is a slightly different shade of color to the rest of the sea that was added. Probably nothing, but maybe that might where another island or something related could be added in the future. Just seemed a bit odd.
  17. Its not that deep, and they said a while ago since they changed wilderness there would be a lot more updates within the wilderness. Who knows, it might not even be classed as wilderness once you pass the fenced area. FOG and Clan wars are both in low-mid wilderness. The only reason i think its part of the new skill is i have nothing else to really go on yet, maybe we will find out some more details soon. But until then that's my conclusion.
  18. I thought that but then later it says: I'm thinking along the lines that there is a combat aspect and a skilling aspect. And the other thing that don't make sense is that its F2P too, so it cant be a continuation of those quests. (strange power was f2p too, which both of these are related)
  19. what makes you say its gonna be f2p? if you think so because its in f2p wildy thats not true: the Summer quests and corporeal beast are also in f2p wildy but are p2p The dialogue to the npcs in F2P is exactly the same as in P2P, if it was members only the npcs would either not be there or just say that it is a members feature much like all the other p2p updates in f2p areas.
  20. I doubt its a quest since its f2p (if it is then its not going to be anything major). I'm swaying towards it being part of this new 'skill'. Its the only real viable opinion to the current evidence we have about the skill some of does tie in.

If you check ME'S (REN'S) post about what the new skill is (some kind of instanced dungeon type of skill) this area would be perfect for the staging area for the skill once opened it might contain walk thoughs on how to do the new skill before you board the "ship" mentioned by MOD Mark that was going to play a big role in the New Skill. It all fits pretty well with the location. oh yeah your right, i just noticed how that ties in with the dock part on the east of it.
  22. Do those two say the same thing in F2p? Surly if they do, it does sort of make sense that it could be the skill. Its accessible from f2p and The Q+A said that f2p would get a new area for the skill. Whatever it is I'm looking forward to it.
  23. Really? what gave that away? The bit where the npcs guarding it say its the location that was the source of the strange power perhaps? It would, but at the time of posting I did not see the dialogue.
  24. Thats gotta be the place that was related to the strange power a few weeks ago. I think its where every one faced?
