I can't believe that when jagex loads an update so many people criticise it then when they don't so many people still criticise them! Look England at the minute is in the grip of quite "bad snow conditions" with Cambridge being one of the worst hit areas here according to the news. So stop criticising the fact that they may have the odd day off work because of the snow. Many of the creators and developers probably have families and kids so it might only be a little bit fair that they get a little bit of slack from us and a little bit extra time with their families. So before you start blaming Jagex for it all etc blame this stupid governement we have here that isn't even able to handle this little bit of white stuff. -.- [/rant] The snow had nothing to do with the no update, they said on the 21st that there was not an update till atleast the 11th (in future updates). It wasn't even forecast back then. The snow is not that bad there either.

Well considering that jagex didn't develop the game (they are just publishing it for a developer, using their experience in Java gaming.) that seems highly unlikely not to mention it isn't even the right genre. why the 11th? There will be an update this week to remove the xmas event. Things like this happen after every holiday, people are hyped in to dumpping their items expecting that they are going to crash and end up losing loads to merchers. Exactly what happened at the end of the summer hols.

Unlike many other games that advertise themselves as free to play, Runescape is one of the few which is actually playable without any form of upgrades/items. There is no point to advertising it as a pay to play, since its not. The fact that most new players will not get members until they have progressed to some stage within F2p it makes sense.

Well, with the possibility of 2 new games from Jagex next year, as well as the planned updates we already know about 2010 is looking good.

Last I heard Mechscape was scrapped and its replacement was Stellar Dawn. Could be wrong, im pretty sure the new project hasnt been named yet stellar dawn was an original concept name for mechscape No, Mechscape was the original but it was renamed after they decided the name no longer reflected what the game was about. And now its also being re-developed by Andrew.

So it's a free 135K (- nature cost)? Apparently so! Yup just did it she gave me one back free of charge. I don't know if you can enter it after the quest. But during the quest, you can cut off almost all of the rooms leading to the dk's, that includes the doors you have to open, so you can go through by yourself now. (if it still works after the quest, that is)

There is a requirement of level 75 in the skill to use that xp reward.

I don't think its the Christmas event, there's still next week left. If it is then we wont have another update for at least 3 weeks. Since they tend to remove holiday event with the next update. But i'm really not sure what it could be.

I noticed that too, but they are the normal levels in the dungeon I checked.
