  1. Yes, some stakers did. So those should remain banned. But banning anyone that wins a big stake is justice? I wasn't a staker anyway. I was a merchant. And by trust trade, I mean asking a friend to hold onto something for a period of time. In my case, I bought a Phat after my membership expired. I spent 5 days alching Green Bodies in F2P, and I didn't want to log off with a Phat in my inventory. I asked my best friend 3_H1t_Qu1t (name edited) to look after it until I renewed my membership. I renewed my membership 5 days later, he returned it, and we were both banned the next day. A simple investigation into our trade logs, would prove the same coded item was trade back and forth within 5 days, proving it was item lending/trust-trade. But I've had 4 appeals denied, and I have no hope left of the new appeal to be accepted after this. And I mean it's a cover-up because they lock any thread that mentions it without reason. They realise they banned some people wrongly, but they're trying to cover it up.
  2. In the early months of 2007, Jagex were battling against Real World Traders (RWTs). Around 8,000 players accused of RWTing were banned every week, and a total of AT LEAST 64,000 players were banned. What's actually going on is that the VAST majority of the level-3 characters you see playing the game repetitively and not talking to anyone, are actually people from countries such as China and Korea, who are trying to collect RuneScape gold to sell for real world money (obviously against the rules). Some of them aren't even using bots, they are just playing the game very repetitively with a single-minded purpose to collect gold. When the bans happened, Jagex were after the gold farmers and those who stole credit cards in order to benefit themselves in the real world. While doing this they managed to get most of them, but in the cluster, banned many people who were simply "rich". Many stakers were banned due to winning or losing millions to billions in the arena. This was simply them playing the game and perhaps being lucky in their wins. They had no intention nor did they real world trade, they simply staked and won. Some players who donated money or lent items to their friends/family were banned, as Jagex detected an uneven trade and assumed it was RWTing. Prime example; my old account was banned for RWT when I lent my friend a Partyhat for 5 days. The day after he returned it, we were both banned and my appeal was denied 2 minutes after I sent it off. Obviously, we will always be careful to make sure nobody is banned in error. You werent very careful Jagex. I wouldnt blame you for misfiring on some occasions as you were dealing with at least 64,000 accounts so mistakes happen. But why are the innocent still banned? Obviously not much effort is put into investigating into RWT offences. I base this on that fact that my appeal was denied after 2 minutes, my friends was denied after a mere 18 seconds, and I know many others that were denied in a ridiculously short amount of time. As for the Evidence page, it shows no evidence whatsoever. Simply stating We have evidence that you were in control of the account during the offence is not sufficient. You cannot continue refusing to show evidence, with we cannot explain our methods of catching RWTers in case people find a way around the system. Youve stated that RWTing is impossible. So give us the evidence we deserve to see, if there is any evidence at all. Even with this new Appeal System, I have no hope left for justice, as Im sure youll place all the accounts accused of RWTing in one boat and push the Big Red Denied Button. This is not justice. And its for the greater good well be free of RWTers but some civilians will suffer too is not an excuse. Its time to face the facts, to stop covering up this outrage and failure, and make up for your mistake. I urge a REAL thorough investigation for once. Looking into the trade logs of some cases (such as mine) will prove that an item was lent and returned. ___________________________________________________ This was posted on the RS forums, and after a day it was locked because some people mentioned account names and histories. So I made a new thread, warning people not to post any names, and to either support or oppose. This was locked too, and no reason was given as to how I incriminated the rules. I've also received a forum ban. I don't know what else to do. It's been over 2 years, and every time I get over Jagex's injustice and try to move on, they bring out 2nd chance appeals. These are of course denied. I've yet to meet someone accused of RWT'ing getting unbanned. Has anyone else noticed this cover-up?
  3. It's highly possible. I mean seeing as my friend and I were banned because I asked him to hold my Phat until I got my membership back. Even though he traded it back before we were banned, seems like Jagex wont take their chances and they'll go ahead and ban. Yes, we have proof from a Jagex Mod that people are allowed to give other people free stuff, especially if they are quitting RS. Therefore, trust-trading is also permitted, so I don't understand why my friend and I are Perm Banned. Out of the 8 complaints I've sent to Jagex about the situation, there most of the replies are obviously automated responses, as they're exactly like eachother. Beats me why Customer Support actually exsists if they aren't going to make any effort in looking into our problems.
  4. I was told Jagex watch staking too, and they can identify Autoers etc. Maybe not, just what I heard.
  5. Sorry, I don't quite understand what you mean :s If you mean why did I trade 3-H1t my Phat, it was because I was F2p at the time, with a P2p size bank and I didn't want to take my chances of keeping it on when I logged off. If you mean, why wouldn't people just stake 10M for nothing if they are RL trading etc, I think Jagex watches staking too. And maybe they might realise a set-up lure. I haven't a clue.
  6. I recently got Perm Banned for trust trading. But what I had (and what I will have when Jagex realise their mistake) was about 1.5 - 1.6B. My Total Level was about 1965.
  7. I cannot believe that they have gone this far if they ban for this...if your trade was only reason for ban why they should think it was rl trading when item returns to person who originally bought it. My guess is that in this case they was only monitoring first trade and came into conclusion that it was rl trading and they already had decided ban before 2nd trade happend. I would rather see partyhats sold in general store permamently than being feared of getting banned every time partyhat is involved in trade....i should just call them as "hat of banning" (rarer color has higher chance to get you banned lol) Those 2 trades were what they based it on. I was a merchant, not a staker. And never in my 3 years of gameplay have I ever took part in a RL trade. I would never risk losing my account for that, when I already know that no-one gets away with RL trades. Me and my friend got the perm ban a day after the 2nd trade (when he traded my Phat back), so within that day, they must have realised this trade. They obviously can't piece the puzzle together, and they aren't even reading my appeals and complaints. So much for customer satisfaction eh?
  8. can jagex even know that you guys are doing that trade unless one of you reports the other? Yes they can see the trades. Which brings me to my next point. When I traded my red Phat to my friend, he returned it a few days later. Jagex saw both trades take place so can't they figure out what was happeneing? It was a trust trade rather than an act of RL trading. This is ridiculous. How can you possibly perm ban someone by simply seeing an unfair trade taking place?
  9. Just saw this thread >_< It's true, Jagex are taking this issue too far. I was a merchant btw, not a staker. I was Perm Banned on Sunday night, along with my 126 mate "3-H1t-Qu1t" (Mis-spelled). This is what it was based on: Early last week, my membership ran out and I turned F2p. While alching my Green Bodies, I was browsing the forums and I bought a Red Partyhat. Unable to bank this item - due to having a P2p size bank - and scared of being hacked, I asked my friend 3-H1t to hold onto it until I get my membership back. On the weekend, I finished alching, got back my membership and 3-H1t returned my Phat. Sunday night, I realise 3-H1t and I are perm banned... My net worth was around 1.5B or so, and 3-H1ts about 500M. After sending in our appeal explaining the situation, we recieve a automated response saying "We have evidence that you were in control of your account during the time of the offence". We sent in a query to Jagex asking if Trust-trading is against the rules, and they said that it wasn't. So WTF is going on?
  10. Now the actual evidence was two full pages, so he sent a reply explaining what REALLY happened and asking Jagex to re-read the evidence. (He had got off the computer, I had logged in, waved, then allowed him back on the computer) Exactly 7 seconds later: No where in his reply did he say he was not in control of his account...nor could the evidence been sent, re-read, and replied to in 7 seconds I guess Jagex really does care about its loyal players :uhh: So I'm not the only one this has happened to :/ I haven't sent my final appeal off yet, since they probably wont even bother reading it. Sad how many loyal players are banned and there are still thousands of macroers about.
  11. After 3 or 4 years of honest gameplay, following all the rules and playing my part in making the RS community better, I get a permanent ban along with a good friend :( I was accused of RL trading and encouraging others to break rules. What really happened was: Last week I turned F2p, and didn't get my membership back immediately as I planned to high-alch 10K Green Bodies while I was F2p. So the day after I turned F2p, I browse through the forums and purchase a Red Partyhat. As I had a P2p banksize, I couldn't bank my Partyhat. I've been hacked a few times in the past, and so I didn't want to risk losing my Partyhat. So I ask a good friend to hold onto it for a few days until I get my membership back. On Sunday (Yesterday) I got my membership back and my friend returned the Partyhat. So there it is. Me, and my friend were accused and perm banned for that ^ We have appealed but the chances of Jagex actually believing us is probably slim. ______________________ We recieved our reply about 30minutes later. An automated response saying "we have conclusive evidence that you were in control of the account at the time of the offence and for this reason this offence will remain on your account." In my appeal, I did not say I wasn't in control of my account. And I did not cause an offence. Their response is pathetic.
  12. IMO, from what I've seen, Crackers seem to be rarer than Half-Wines. Or at least, there are more Half-Wines circulating than Crackers.
  13. Glories ftw! Tele's can be helpful at times, and stats are still pretty good.
  14. Yes, I dropped my Salve Amulet and Lyre about a year ago, when my membership expired. If anyone could provide me with a step-by-step guide on how to retrieve these items, I'd be very grateful. (Sorry, I'm too lazy to look it up elsewhere) Many thanks, Tug.
  15. i only hit 38s on guardians without black mask this time my friend loaned me his yesterday... That's wierd :s I was hitting 40s, though my Strength bonus was at +70 I think. Yours must have been lower, otherwise you'd be hitting 40+
  16. Yeah doubt it, you'd be hitting about 40 too.
  17. It was a a bug that the spec only worked for some people. I was hitting regular 38-40s at Guardians, potted and with prayer. The two specs that took place were weak hits :(
  18. Wow, great find  Hitting almost a 150... Jeez...
  19. Killed KQ 6 times, no specs so far :( Hitting 20s - 40s though. Not too accurate, a lot of 0s.
  20. Larsie Awesome 75!!! :D Headshot, it's a random spec like Guthans, though less often.
  21. Nice, my specs have hit low so far. Going to test it on Kalph Queen.
  22. I created this thread to find out what the max hit with the Keris Dagger spec is. Please post your max hit, your strength level, your strength bonus, what you were fighting, and whether you used Prayer and Potions. Pics would be great :D
  23. Hey :D Ah, let me know how it goes. I don't want to take another pointless trip there if nothing is different.
  24. Urgh hitting in the 20s quite often, my max so far is 31... My whip can do better than this
