Quite interesting Find :-)
Same thing happened to me. I was cutting teak and there was a mahogany on the floor. I think they are tradable now. They might have changed it so people don't get 99 construction in less than a week.

Agility: A Horror Story
A good place to die quickly is the wildy. I just take a stroll to lvl-5 wildy by Zammy mage and there are usually nooby wanna be pk'ers there to bring a quick and pointless death.

Me4391 is just sick of it...*long read like always*
I haven't been going to anyones houses as of late after hearing about all these horror stories. It's really amazing how people exploit the game and ruin other people's fun. Runescape is truly a great game. Runescape is a great game and it only gets better. Just because of the demand, I think Jagex released POH too soon. They delayed this project for so long, I think they should have tweaked it a little bit more before they released it. It's not even Jagex's fault. I don't even know how people even come up with these scams. All these scammers are losers in real life who get picked on and the only way they can get make themselves feel better is by exploiting people in a game. It's pathetic. I feel sorry for all the people who put in so much hard work only to lose it in a few moments they left their guards down. I hope everyone that did get scammed reported the scammers and I hope their accounts get banned so they can also see what it's like to lose months or years of hard work.

~~~~ POHs and Dungeons: Planning in advance ~~~~
Very nice design! My POH is still a POS. I have to go through four rooms to get to my workshop. I might just start from scatch and follow your design.
New POH scam
I think when you put something on the table, it's similar when you drop something. Whatever you put on the table will be visible to other players after a few moments. I think he got booted before the chain became visible. I'm reading all these scams using POH and it makes me sick how some people exploit the game. It's pretty sad. I hope the scammer got reported and banned.
higher level materials costs
I think Jagex came out with these prices to combat the prices of rares. They want other signs of wealth and the prices of the rares should be going down. The prices won't drop dratically because of the level restrictions because you can get these status symbols whereas a level-3 and own a p-hat.
Post your POH
My POH is still a POS :cry: . I did move it to Taverly and I have everything upto a bedroom.
rohanlords small guide to soloing the giant mole
I like to bank in between trips because I don't like using prayer pots for the mole. I usually tele to Lumby, recharge my prayer, tele back to Fally, use the bank, and then back to the mole's lair. The recharging can be done fairly quickly and you'll be back by the time the mole respawns.
gold ore prices?
I see many P2P'ers going to world 1 to buy gold ores. Most people are using goldsmith gauntlets. There are many frequent buyers paying 350-450 per ore there. Other good places to sell include Al-Kharid (P2P) and Port Phasmatys.
teak and mahogany uses.
Jagex is based out of England. Does England celebrate Memorial Day? I thought that it was just an American holiday. I think it's business as usual in England. Can someone verify?
bronze dragons!
You can use prayer pots and anti-fire pots. It gets very expensive per trip but it's the best way to go if you're going to melee. I use this method and I wear all the prayer boosting gear. Equipment: - full initiate; holy symbol; legends cape; anti-fire shield (must have); climbing boots; dragon or barrows gloves; DDS; whip or dragon mace (prayer bonus); Inventory: A few prayer pots (depending on your prayer lvl), antifire pots, some food just in case, Ardy tele, hatchet, super att and str to be more effective killing machine, and 905gp to get to the dungeon from Ardy.
The bank is in the basement of Lumby Castle. It is Culimancers chest from Recipe for Disaster quest.
Error in monkey madness
I think you get a monkey corpse from the Karamjan monkeys. Just go back to Karamja and kill another monkey and see if you get a corpse. Then bring it to Zooknook in the Ape Atoll Dungeon.
best way to get secondary ingredients?
This is definitely the best place to get white berries and limps. I was down there for an hour and half my inventory was white berries and limps. They also drop high level herbs.
RCing distractions
i'd suggest that you get a whole bunch of dueling rings and then craft fires. I did that until I was 44 rc. Get all your runes, use ring of dueling to go the al-kharid duel arena and the alter is just above the tele spot. Craft the runes then tele to castle wars and repeat. I always wore a ring and kept one in the inventory just in case I forgot to replace a crumbled ring. Don't want to get stranded. Good Luck!
I Hate Agility.. anyone got some advice?
There is a pineapple plant in the ApeAtoll course. Everytime I finish the course, I pick up a pineapple. It spawns fairly quickly and it's a good source of hp. I usually bring a few cakes with me and I use the pineapples for main source of food. If I'm really struggling, I'll just get some bananas from the trees. There are many sources of food there so you can train for hours before having to leave. Good Luck!
productive stuff i can do while high alching?
I try and work on my thieving. I like chests more than stalls. I'll either steal from the nature rune chest (you get more nats!) or from the blood rune chest. For the blood rune chest, I steal from one, run back, steal the other one, run back, alch like a 50 and then steal again. It's really good money. You get two bloods, 500gp, and 250 thieving xp per chest!
Doubling 45m, how..?
Ammy of Fury sells for about 5m, give or take. The final price of chaos at a rune shop is 112. The final price of deaths are 224. You'd actually end up making a little over a million. It would probably cost 50-150k to get it crafted, depends on the crafter. It's a good way but it takes a lot of time. You have to world hop constantly and use different rune shops. Lot of work but worthwhile payout.
Quitting, What to do with the cash lying around.
If all you did was merchant, try enjoying the rest of the game now. Do some quests, get some 99 lvl skills, participate in the TET-Events. There is a lot more to the game than just the monetary aspect. Either way, good luck.
Making steel bars
I'm not sure if you're a member or not, but if you are, smelting in Port Phastmyst is the quickest way. Just wear boots of lightness and ghostspeak ammy. There aren't that many people there so it can get a bit lonely but it's not bad.
Doubling 45m, how..?
Since you're already into runes, get 33k chaos and get an onyx gem. Buy the runes from the stores and then sell it for tokkul. Get the onyx crafted and then sell it. You should be able to make about a million a day. You can probably make more if there are two of you. Good Luck! Look at ChewyShoes guide for more info.
The New Gloves
Are you talking about the black gloves or do you mean dark gloves AKA barrows? For barrows you need to complete the whole quest.
Casting Fire Bolt faster than high alching for magic lvls??
hahaha...that's awesome... If you do something to the extreme...like alching 55k times...you will go nuts! After a couple thousand you will probably wander off to something else. I think it's best if you split it up into a few things to keep you from snoozin' off. Do a couple thousand high alch, then kill a few dragons, then do a couple thousand Cammy tele. This way you'll be doing a few different things while you level. You could also do some slayer assignments. Doing different things might keep you from going crazy... good luck!
How do people get 70 ranging so fast????
I used a cannon in the lighthouse and got from 57-59 in less than an hour. I also finished my 164 dagganoth slayer assignment. Now I'm just waiting for my next dagganoth assignment to whip out the cannon again.
