First of all, are you a member? Second, you should propably read the guide that is on graveyard help and advice about trianing a pker. this is targeted to pures mostly but can be applied to def pker. The part where they call you a def noob is understandable, they are annoyed by the fact that you own them and hence feel the need to release their frustration verbally. If i were you i would train str more along with attack and test around with raising stats. at some point pures will own you but if you keep at 40 def and train str and attack high along with mage and range you will start to own. Safer noob means a person that eats when hits are still relatively high btw. it has nothing to do with your def. Again just a fact that annoys them when they can't kill you. However everything goes in the wilderness and only clans have rules about how to pk in the wilderness. If you plan to be a p2p pker you should train mage alot with range since those two assist alot in pking (ancients spells and msb special). Hope this helps at least a bit. :)

Halbers are melee weapons that you can use to attack from 2 squares away, not like the next square from your opponent as is the case with several npc's and players. This opens up possibilities to use halberd as a training weapon without exposing yourself to danger at all. Thus it's called hallying which you can do over tables or chairs, corners and lots of other places. FuBai has a safespot guide somewhere, those spots are for rangers, mages or halberdiers. What's your gear? And i'm pray 60 aswell, like i said, with more pots i couldn't do more runs since verac hates me.

I usually take 5 or 6 to do 2 runs. verac seems to hit me alot now that he got the chance to smack through prayer.

You shold also do garden of tarnquility as soon as you can, it gives nice boost to farming exp :) Oh and eadgars ruse to herblore. Click the link on my sig to see how much exp you get per quest, classed by skills.

Lunar mage also teleports you to ice plateau and the req is alot lower for it. even i can pot to do grouptele there. Of course there is the ardy lever, but it's quite slow imho. The moonclan tele requirement is lvl 89 mage and of course lunar diplomacy quest.

There are basically 2 options for training prayer effectively: 1. You can ecto bones, which means that you need to start ghosts ahoy quest (i think), grind the bones and place the dust to a pot, then you need to get alot of buckets of slime, which can be found on downstairs of ectofungus. Then when you have equal amount of bonemeal (ground bones in a pot) and buckets of slime you can worship the fungus and get 4xnormal exp. this is slower but gets you worth your money. 2. Second option is to use the bones on guilded altar when incense burners are lid. this gives you 3.5xnormal exp and is alot faster than ectoing.

They are 2.5m, maybe that's why you fail?

It costs 100k to fix it from totally broken. i wouldn't know if it's good for staking, i think so since it shoots fast and does quite high damage. I'm quite sure he wears torag plate. Torag plate and legs, climbing or rune boots, obby shield, whip, berserker helmet, barrows gloves, glory or str amulet and obby cape with berserker ring is pretty much the ultimate gear to train melee.

You need to do the quest, which name escapes my mind. the starting point is in port phasmatys. I'll edit if i remember the name. EDIT: cabin fever.

You can fix it at your house on armor repair stand which requires construction lvl 55. There is also another npc at void knight island who will repair the armor. Either way, it costs money to fix the armor.

EDIT: according to KB you do need a def lvl 40 wear the top.

First of all, the decision to use torags is quite good, it has awesome def to melee. With your stats i would mix using rune def and obby shield according the training situation: if opponent ranges then use shield, if not then use def. If i were you i would sell the square as it is likely to drop in price until you get legends quest done and you're able to use it. same with other dragon items since it's defensive values are rubbish. Boots, ah yes, climbing boots give some small additions to melee offensive stats +2 or 3 i think. Metal boots of course give you slightly more def but i personally concider them junk. i love my climbing boots. only metal boots i'll ever wear are the ones that i get from slayer assignments, and even that is rare :D Rings that give you offensive stat bonuses are Berserker ring, farseer ring, archer ring and warrior ring. bonuses are respectively: strength, magic, ranged and slash/stab. I think that they also give slight increase to their defence value. There are amulets of most kinds, new to a beginning member are glory amulet and onyx amulet(fury). Fury gives somewhat better offensive stats but i think it just isn't worth it to pay that much for it. you can buy 33.3k chaos runes and sell them to shop to get your fury a bit cheaper but i wouldn't recommend it.

If you are on member areas you respawn in lumridge when membership runs out. if you try to log in to f2p worlds when member and your character is in memberarea you won't be able to login. As long as you have too many items in bank when moving to f2p from p2p you cannot deposit anything to bank. hence you should sell all the member stuff or read the guide, moving to f2p with full bank. you can find that using the search-button.

He's made at least 3 topics of the same quest, so it shouldn't be too hard to guess :P In future, post on the same thread you have allready created to avoid ppl thinking you're a noob. :evil: Go ask for more tokens and convert them. and read the guide.

I don't think they're ever going to be moderate exp. Few weeks back there was a thread similar to this and some guy posted on is saying that they tested how long it would take to get X amount of sharks. the other fisher was 95+ or something like that and the other 80+. it took the same time to get that amount, which was well over 2k. If you want exp, monkfish. if it's the money, then sharks.

I'd go with blue mask, but that's just me. out of those 2, propably green mask.

You can sell ranarrs for 7k ea and the guy above me is right, they have high demand due to barrows, kalphite queen, kbd, jad and quests. super sets are sold in like ratio of 1:10 to prayer pots if even that.

Here's how i do it, i have 3 ways of making bows: 1. Take out 10 logs, 10 strings, noted logs, cash, knife, noted strings, plus 3 more spots of something and 1 string on the last corner. Place them so that your knife the extra string and 2 other items are on the bottom row. strings should be on top and logs on the last 2.5 rows. now cut the logs and string them immediately. i prefer this since i like to keep my fletching exp round. it's not atm though since i went crazy with the bolts. 2. take out 14 unstrungs and 14 strings, draw one unstrung to the last spot and click like mad. here's how: first click normally on string and then doubleclick on unstrung bow, then doubleckicl string and so forth. repeat until all the bows are done, bank and repeat. 3. take out 15 unstrungs and 13 strings (or vica versa), place 14 bows on first rows, then 13 strings and 1 unstrung on the last spot. same way to click than with option #2. Method 1 is slower, but i love it. 2 and 3 are faster and they do make you go insane. 28 mins to string 1k bows with option #2 if you chat a little bit. Good luck with it, you're gonna need it.
