  1. You can also get 1 to def by doing longranged ranging.
  2. This is so weird, tons of ppl are saying the same thing. There has to be some sort of weird thing on macrodetecting programs or something of that sort since it is the only reason i could see they'd ban automatically ppl. You should make a new account, log in to rs, add jmods as many as you know them and harrass them long enough to get a hold of someone to check your account and maybe unban it. Mod Mark is my fav, he is so helpfull and nice. :)
  3. I think you can, not sure in which part you need those levels and since those levels are quite low for you i assume that your combat isn't high either. in which case i would train them to needed level since you're going to need alot of items and very few spots for food.
  4. As far as i know there have been other references to monty python in rs. unfortuantelly i can't remember any of the, :( nice found though :)
  5. They're not worth the trip, just drop them.
  6. YES! i can't wait to get my fletching cape and have it improved =)
  7. I gotta say that i like the change to yellow ALOT. why? because i could barely see them because of my slight color-blindness. I still don't like the new interface alot though, run-button was good the way it was :P
  8. He is back to the same topic but he changed to level 80 smithing. Apparently he is having an IRC channel for 80+ smithers because he loves to talk to other smithers and want's to see what everyone else has (smith lvl i suppose...). Oh and lvl 80 smithing will help on something. Not a great translation but should give the idea he is after... :S Not sure if this is the right board for this though, i really doubt it is.
  9. i'd still use climbing boots because it gives +2 or 3 to slash. and yes, i know rune boots give def too, still i prefer climbers :P
  10. *SLAP* Learn to read, he is asking for another item to merchant in F2P besides those two mentioned, not saying merching isn't fun. Rune items and f2p treasure trail items might be good, or runes from shops. (runes are time consuming though)
  11. Here's something real for you to ponder instead of lame stuff like that: Imagine me singing to you in a high pitched voice: cry me a riveeer.
  12. For herblore i'd kill druids alot and get combat up aswell. then use the herbs on herblore. To thieving i'd go with master farmers aswell, since you can farm all the herb seeds and hence get more farm and herblore exp. As i see it all these could go hand in hand with each other BUT if you want it fast, thieve knights in ardougne and use cakes to heal when you fail, it is the fastest way to get thieving exp. and also wield a bow when thieving but no arrows so you can't kill the knight. (this helps alot!)
  13. It's under the basics in construction  ps. omg that sig is so cute!
  14. What i would do is train def to 70, attack and str to 90+ (str maybe 5 higher than att). then you could wear barrows armor and wouldn't be so owned in fight pits, and it wouuld make you quite good in other combat aswell. and mage and range wouldn't hurt to train either.
  15. Yep, magenta, pink and purple were all common terms. always wondered why they were the most expensive one since they were and are imo ugly. :D
  16. Bulls, pink phats were turned to purple. throughout the whole time when phats were in rsc there was a debate whether they are pink or purple and they were rarest. after dupe they were cheapest and when we moved to rs2 the debate was solved by jagex since they named all the phats according to their colors. Pinks were not removed from the game. There's been that rumor of black phats sinve i don't know when, and everytime they've been ko'ed back. 3 maxed out chars? uh-huh, so he's zezima, novalyfe and the old nite all together?
  17. I'm 99% certain that range works better on him since he is after all a mage who is suppose to be weak against range. And as your level goes up in ranging the faster you kill him. Try out different arrows and you'll see what suits best for you. :)
  18. All the spells give base bonus and an increased exp if you manage to hit, this applies to strikes, bolts etc that do damage. Curse gives same exp i think, succesfull or not. And alchs etc give the same exp every time.
  19. Nope. I wouldn't compare phats to trimmed since phats are of a status value and they increase in value whereas trimmed will only go down if something.
  20. As you know there is a combat triangle in rs pking. mages own melee owns ranger owns mage. Now, in rsc it didn't matter much what u wore when you were casting spells (full rune plus god staff with charge, ownage). In rs2 (the version we're playing now) however mages need to wear robes, mystic, enchanted, split, skeletal or ahrims to get offensive mage stats (scroll down in weapon stats). If you wear rune armor your mage stats go down alot, meaning that it goes to negative as well defensive mage stats. The idea of "curse training" is that you get to cast curse several times before it actually hits anything. hence ppl wear full rune, no staff, no amulet etc. so that you don't get any offensive mage stat increase. this way the curse will "splash" aka fail every time. this allows you to cast again on same monster but if you hit him with curse you cannot do that again until it has recovered from curse. Best place i know to cast curse is port sarim jail since you have several monsters there to cast on if you do infact hit someone.
  21. If you're p2p spend the money on torags or something that is actually better than rune. As an ivestment trimmed is quite stable, if anything the prices will slowly come down. I wouldn't, every time i get something trimmed from trails i sell it immediately, just don't see the point in them. if i was f2p then i'd most likely have them but in members i like to wear moonclan clothing.
  22. I think he means that his brother played the 2nd account which had the expensive items stored in it. Might be wrong though, but that's what i understood about his typing. As you know mules (you call them bankers) are not allowed neither is sharing an account BUT if in fact the 2nd account was played by your brother then wouldn't he remember the rsn for it? Seems weird that you're the one who should be remembering his rsn and pw if you weren't the actual owner of the account. Anyways, only thing i can help is to say this: try remembering the stats of the acc (if it had hiscored stats) and then start pitchforking the hi-scores of that certain skill until you find it. by pitchforking i mean the mathematical term that is most likely incorrect in english. :D anyway, here's an example: Say the acc is a skill pure and he has 75 woodcut, go to hiscores and find where lvl 75 wc begins and scroll up or down until you find it. voilÃÆÃâÃâá! account found, recovered and you're back to merching the items.
  23. Read this and you'll know alot more :)
  24. Yes it would but you would still get some combat exp which can never be a bad thing. And imagine, you could be the one that verifies the rumours about it, oh the fame and fortune.
  25. I use mith arrows on him and get him down fast (84 range ftw). If i were you i would get to 70 range just to be able to wear the hides and it's not that hard to get, all you need is arrows/money and time. i leveled in range guild minigame and bought rune arrows with all the tickets, made up some money quite nicely :D
