Play-In-Browser Hegemony
If you wanted to emulate Hegemony just make a deck of cards which were: Alliance with the most powerful player * 1 in 8 chance of drawing Alliance with the second most powerful player * 1 in 10 chance Alliance with the person sitting on your right * 1 in 20 chance Betray the person sitting on your right * 1 in 5 chance Betray the person sitting on your left * 1 in 5 chance Launch nukes * 1 in 6 chance You take turns to draw cards. (Two at a time) You may play a card at anytime (Including other people's turns) Alliances give you, and whoever else you ally with, an alliance point. Betrayal removes an alliance point from the person you use it on, and yourself. The most powerful player is whoever has the most alliances and/or nukes. If you play a launch nukes card then the game ends and no one wins. If someone reaches 8 alliance points then every player may draw two cards per turn, and one launch nukes card. If someone reaches 12 alliance points then they win. Alternate rules, launch nukes simply busts a player, and the people sitting to the left and right of them, back to 3 alliance points.

Play-In-Browser Hegemony
I hear other people actually bring smatterings of elemental strategy to strategy games, but I am like "lol, that nt how u ply!" They value winning, the art of the unexpected and such...Like a war that starts out on the premise that someone else will invade someone else if they do, and then people doing that (all totally unplanned) so that no one actually becomes/remains the most powerful player...But I guess unless the Tavern shifts entirely that will never happen...People seem to set their sights on preservation, rather than conquest.

Play-In-Browser Hegemony
So...basically...the game is decided in the first five minutes, followed a long period of building...

Tavern games with Betrayal...Everyone allies with the strongest power after betraying their original allies. Essentially the opposite of rats fleeing a sinking ship. 'Someone looks like they might end the game, quick, join them!'

I imagine such a 'device' would be more accurately formed as a pact between yourself and a demon. A device itself would be more troublesome...probably purchasable in one of the back alley ways of Sulbey, or craftable with sufficent skill.

Kk...Let me know on your route...Also you may want to form a party, since the likelihood is that the path there will be excessively dangerous.

Seems fair. They haven't seen any such spheres being brought to the castle or the church, although you do hear a rumour about a trader who had a brother who was once discovered a sphere and went to Priestown to tell them about it, but, with a large number of Monastic Monks, Knights and the like in tow, he discovered that the sphere had been stolen. The brother was horribly maimed by the Monks for his incompetance and left to die, though survived (apparently). After some time an Italian visited the region and following a somewhat brutal series of investigations discovered that the sphere had, supposedly, been captured by a group of witches down beyond Lake Cohorn: [hide][/hide] The Quistor's army was called for, and a great number of troops were dispatched to Pendle. Here the tale splits off, one saying that the Witches routed the army forcing them to flee and take vengence on a village, the other saying that the Army ransacked a witch-village near the town but couldn't find anything (Though numerous witches were burnt in either tale). Beyond that the tale diverges rapidly, with each person you talk to telling you a different tale, replete with golden ships, images of God, blood rain, and general fantastical nonsense.

Crossroads
Righto. I will say that they are not easily locatable, what with being specifically hidden. I mean searching for them is more a matter of digging random holes all over the place...So unless you have another way of locating them its gonna be pretty unlikely you will be able to find them. (If you want to talk on IRC let me know)

Alchemy: The capability of turning base metals into the noble metals gold or silver, as well as an elixir of life conferring youth and immortality. (At lower levels it is more or less useless) And it was more a matter that I had run 4 seperate stories and it seemed more sensible not to start another one. Transmogrification is more or less shapeshifting, again, at lower levels it is fairly useless...you can wiggle your ears, remove/add spots to people, Not really. Manapools can be allocated and such, but increasing the amount you actually have only happens with time. As to regeneration...Could probably specialise in it... Ok. 8.2 I have down here. I would assume you could, dependant on what they were ect.
